As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of People and Culture will work  in a spirit of mutual accountability with fellow directors, taking strategic leadership of Turn2us’s People and Culture Directorate. About the role

The Prospect Development and Donor Insights Manager is a new key position within the Development Office that will lead on strategic, data-driven insights to shape our fundraising strategy and maximise the University’s fundraising potential as we embark on the University’s biggest ever fundraising campaign.

You will manage the overall process of prospect development, including moves management and prospect strategy to support our fundraising campaign. You will provide strategic, data-driven guidance to frontline fundraisers ensuring optimal tracking and engagement of major gift prospect, including individuals, trusts & foundations and corporates, throughout the donor lifecycle. In addition, you will develop and strengthen a sustainable prospect pipeline in support of our fundraising campaign and fundraising priorities of the University.

Who are we looking for?

We seek someone with at least three years’ experience of prospect research and prospect management, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and strategically with individuals and teams at all levels and across functions. We need someone who has experience of writing profiles, prospect identification, media tracking and good understanding of the Data Protection Act. Experience of maintaining and developing a prospect tracking system on a fundraising database and experience of data analysis and data visualisation is also sought.

About you  

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A min 2:1 Business management related degree, preferably with qualification in the field of marketing
•  Relevant Masters in the field of Social and/or Strategic Marketing is desirable, as are theoretical knowledge and research enquiry skills.

Using a variety of quantitative and qualitative tools and methodologies, you’ll run in-house research projects end-to-end. You’ll carry out data analysis and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders such as by delivering reports, debriefs and workshops.

You’ll also manage projects that are outsourced to external research agencies – including procurement, project management and quality assurance throughout the project.

Working arrangements

Pure Insight support young people leaving children’s homes and foster care (care leavers) between the age of 16 – 28. We provide a wraparound offer supporting young people to take control of their lives, feel connected and develop a sense of belonging in their community. Young Care leavers are some of the most vulnerable young people in our society; many leave school with few qualifications and a significant number are unemployed, living in inadequate housing, and experience poor health and levels of poverty. Nationally 25% of female care leavers become parents between 16 -18 years of age and 50% by the age of 24.

Adjusting to parenthood must happen simultaneously whilst they are still in the process of transitioning out of care or adapting to independent living. Coping with the stressful demands of learning to take care of themselves and a baby at such a young age, whilst often still struggling to make sense of unstable, often chaotic childhoods, can leave little space for engaging with services in the wider community. Instead, many care leavers struggle with poor self-esteem. Isolated and lonely, they may lack the confidence, social skills and social network to join new parenting groups in their community.

Additionally, time spent in the care system can make care leavers reluctant to ask for and accept support. Becoming a parent can be the most rewarding experience in the world, but all parents need support networks to thrive as a family.

The post of Parent Coordinator is an established role. The role is to take full responsibility for certain aspects of the projects work, as detailed below. All duties are to be carried out in line with current operating policies and procedures and any procedures of the partnership agency. We’re partnering with Christian Aid to support their recruitment of their Digital Optimisation Analyst on a permanent basis.

The organisation offers two options of working patterns for this role. They are open to candidates doing 2 days/week in the London office (£49,000-£52,900) or fully remote candidates (£44,000-£48,200).

The Digital Optimisation Analyst is instrumental in advancing Christian Aid's digital strategy and supporting colleagues in achieving digital, fundraising and supporter engagement goals. Through utilising measurable data and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, the role provides in-depth campaign analyses, performance reports, and a deep dive into users' online activities and behaviours.  The deliverable insights and contributions empower teams to make data-driven, impactful decisions that generate positive change across the organisation.

You will be the go-to expert in digital analysis (particularly GA4), working closely alongside a variety of teams to maximise the reach, engagement and conversion of digital journeys.

Key skills include:

· Demonstrates significant working knowledge/experience specialising in digital analysis and Insight

· Significant experience in producing analysis/reports with strong narratives from a variety of digital sources (including Google Analytics 4, email marketing, social insight, META and other tracking/performance monitoring tools) to inform and optimise marketing, fundraising and conversion rate strategies.

· Proficiency in statistical analysis to identify trends in data (e.g. descriptive and comparative statistics correlation, hypothesis testing, regression/data modelling), robust A/B testing, and project optimisation.

· Advanced understanding of tools and frameworks for monitoring the performance of digital marketing and products, including Google Analytics dashboards and custom reports.

· Advanced understanding of Google Analytics 4 (including funnel analysis, segmentation, and ecommerce tracking), Tag Manager, Hotjar (or equivalent), Content Square, Power BI, and Looker Studio.

· Ability to manage external suppliers that provide these tools and services.

· Able to interrogate relevant data sources to support the development of supporter journeys and identify problems/potential solutions to conversion, efficiencies, and user experience.

· Maintain and develop tracking requirements for website features and activities.

· Knowledge and application of tag management systems, including editing of tags.

· Experience developing and working on fundraising and campaigning KPIs and models.

· Experience in integrating digital data sources with CRM database systems.

Global Disability Innovation (GDI) Hub accelerates ideas into impact for a more just world - for disabled people, and all people.

We are a world leading delivery and practice centre, an Academic Research Centre at UCL (University College London) and the first WHO Global Collaborating Centre on Assistive Technology (AT). Role Purpose

GDI Hub are looking for a Research Assistant to support the team across its portfolio of projects with a diversity of clients, partners and stakeholders.

The Research Assistant role sits within GDI Hub’s Community Interest Company’s Research and Delivery Team, led by Mikaela Patrick, Head of Research and Delivery.

For a portfolio of clients (for example, Asian Development Bank, World Bank & IFC, Carbon Trust and Dubai Expo City), and projects under the UK Aid funded AT2030 programme cluster ‘Integrate - Strengthen the systems which make inclusion a reality’ (for example, Local production Systems of AT, Designing Inclusive Dignity Kits for Dissemination in Humanitarian Crises and Climate Resilient Cities), GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary research
• Report academic research and grey literature publications with recommendations, blogs and insights reports
• Provide strategic and operational consultancy and technical assistance
• Design and deliver training and workshops, host and present speaker sessions
• Organise knowledge dissemination for high impact

GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team have a range of thematic expertise, including inclusive design, accessibility, inclusive infrastructure, inclusive climate resilience and responses, disability and gender, financial inclusion and inclusive private sector practice.

The majority of GDI Hub Research and Delivery Team’s work has a focus in Low or Middle-Income Countries (LMIC).

GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team and work is growing fast, and this role has been created to strengthen the team and its delivery across its portfolio of work.

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience working or academic study in relevant fields (including working closely and collaboratively with disabled people and disabled people’s organisations is desirable), such as international disability inclusion, assistive and accessible technology, accessibility and inclusive design, disability innovation and global health; with willingness to grow expertise across these areas.
• Ideally have some experience (approx. 2-5 years) working on research projects and/or practice-focused research in a related field. This could be as part of further study, research or in a work capacity. Real work experience is desirable.
• A post graduate qualification or equivalent work experience, focused on an area relevant to disability inclusion, accessibility and / or assistive technology.
• Experience and confidence to independently conduct qualitative research and analysis, and literature reviews.
• Experienced in quantitative research and analysis with proficiency in designing and running quantitative data collection via surveys and analysing results to inform statistically representative and robust results. Confidence to independently conduct descriptive and correlational analysis using for e.g., ExCel, Python, R or SPSS.
• Independence in producing clear and insightful infographics and data visualisations.
• Excellent written communication skills, with ability to take on writing of reports using clear and compelling narrative; experience authoring lucid and informative insights and reporting.
• Excellent ability to communicate, work in a small dynamic team, and collaborate with individuals with diverse technical backgrounds and with external stakeholders.
• Confidence in client relationship management for organisation of meetings, email engagements and clients and stakeholder presentations.
• Flexibility and dynamism, to take on a range of tasks supporting multiple projects across the Research and Delivery Portfolio.
• Aptitude for independent and timely delivery management whilst work closely with other members of the GDI Hub team.

We are looking for a Corporate Performance and Reporting Manager in our Clerk of the Parliament’s Office at the House of Lords. This is an exciting opportunity to use your strong analytical skills and flair for communicating and engaging a range of stakeholders, to drive progress against our strategic objectives and report on our performance.

This is a hybrid working opportunity where you will work on-site at Parliament 3 days per week, with 2 days per week working remotely. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working with varied and high volumes of data, can build strong relationships across a large organisation and can work in a fast-paced, unique environment.

You’ll be accountable for –

• Acting as operational lead for the Administration’s approach to corporate performance management, including the implementing and reviewing of the House’s performance management framework.
• Building partnerships with Heads of Office, service leads and others across the House to embed, co-ordinate and continuously improve performance metrics and baseline performance.
• Providing a leading voice in the co-production of the quarterly performance report to the Management Board and Finance Committee.
• Embedding performance measuring and reporting approaches that meet the best functional standards, using a range of management data to provide accessible and actionable insights.
• Working with other colleagues across Parliament to help to ensure that other performance monitoring processes allow for comparison.
• Working with Parliamentary Digital Service, and the House of Commons to develop common practices for Corporate Performance Management across Parliament.

What we’re looking for

• Corporate Performance Management knowledge including relevant experience of corporate performance management and corporate governance processes.
•  Strong Analytical Skills including the ability to gather and interpret complex information from a range of sources with differing data quality, visualising data to present the data in a meaningful way to both technical & non-technical audiences.
• Communication Skills such as the ability to find accessible, insightful and creative ways to present data in order to support the production of timely, credible and concise reports through a range of delivery modes.
• Building stakeholder relationships, with experience of developing effective working relationships and working collaboratively across a range of stakeholders in a complex environment, including with senior managers.
• Personal effectiveness with excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage your own time and deal effectively with conflicting demands.
• Organisation and forward planning including experience of planning schedules of work and liaising with others to ensure deadlines are set, maintained, and met.

Senior Strategist - Campaigns & Propositions

Reporting to the Head of Engagement & Loyalty, you'll use our mass fundraising strategy, supporter insight and programme information to create fundraising propositions that inspire both new and existing supporters to donate to the Red Cross through a portfolio of giving opportunities. 

In our new Engagement & Loyalty function, you'll develop creative territories and lead the development of inspiring creative briefs. You’ll use your skills to support and develop the skills of others in developing propositions and writing creative briefs that will inspire our creative team.

What will you need to be a successful Senior Strategist – Campaigns & Propositions? 

• Highly skilled in how to create compelling stories and propositions -  sourcing, gathering and writing story content that elicits a response
• Outstanding ability to write copy and judge creative executions within multi-channel Direct Marketing campaigns
• A thorough understanding of the different fundraising acquisition and retention channels and methodologies
• Highly innovative and creative thinker with an ability to critically appraise the ideas of others 
• Experience of planning and delivering workshops for a range of senior and junior stakeholders
• Experience of planning focus groups and other insight-led methodologies, to elicit specific insight for creative planning

About the role

This pivotal role will see you working with colleagues across the IG team and with wider fundraising colleagues to deliver the Individual Giving (IG) and Retention strategies, working to:

- Increase lifetime value of cash, regular giving and lottery supporters

- Manage key projects and exceptional fundraising campaigns with significant income and expenditure targets

- Give supporters more control of how they give, when we contact them and the content that will mean most to them at their stage in their supporter journey.

- Make sure that each campaign builds strong supporter relationships and long-term commitment to Shelter

- Develop inspiring multi-channel integrated campaigns to create accurate, consistent and engaging experiences at every supporter touchpoint.

- You’ll have the opportunity to deliver audience-led new product and propositions to engage and retain supporters in innovative ways.

- You’ll work across teams as part of our matrix colleague, collaborating on new strategies for creating

- Manage budgets for individual campaigns and help with forecasting income and expenditure targets

About you

Passionate about outstanding supporter experiences and maximising income opportunities, you have demonstrated experience of direct marketing and digital channels such as direct mail, SMS, telemarketing and email.

You’re also used to optimising and reviewing campaigns and aren’t afraid to share both failures and successes. You’ll be highly collaborative, flexible and diplomatic in your approach to managing internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.

What’s more, you excel in analysis and intelligent use of data, are great at utilising insight, including the motivations, interests and behaviours of supporters to guide decisions and have a demonstrated knowledge of project management and development, and will be able to manage multiple projects at once.

You’re happy to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas, methods and processes too, like to horizon scan and keep ahead of emerging trends and are comfortable working in matrix teams.

About the team

Our Individual Giving team sits within our successful, growing Income Generation directorate and consists of three programmes - Supporter Acquisition, Direct Dialogue and Supporter Retention and Development. Together, we deliver a diverse programme of work with ambitious income targets that support our organisational strategy, across cash, regular giving and lottery products. We’ve grown quite a bit over the past few years and benefitted from both investment and opportunity for innovation. That’s resulted in us generating over £20m of unrestricted income every year.
