Who we are

Pure Insight is a charity supporting young people leaving children's homes and foster care in Stockport, Cheshire, Salford and Warrington

We support around 650 children and young people each year through the following outreach projects delivered in community spaces and young peoples homes:

• Mentoring 

• Psychological Well-being Service

• Counselling

• Intense support for care experienced young parents 

• Peer support activities

• Drop in cafes 

• Supported Employment 

• Experts by Experience Panel

• Lived Exp training and consultation 

All our services reduce loneliness and isolation, poor mental health, lack of access to opportunities and development. We reduce homelessness, risks such as criminal and sexual exploitation and other challenges young people can face such as substance misuse and financial hardship.

We offer short term support in crisis and long-term support to flourish. We are successful due to our incredible, committed workforce of paid and voluntary talented local people.

Pure Insight also ensures care leavers who are ‘less well heard’ have their voices amplified locally, regionally and nationally to influence policy and service provision.
