With homelessness rates rising, St Mungo’s is looking for a creative and driven Senior Press and PR Officer to help end homelessness and rebuild lives. You will be joining a team of 4 which includes a Press and PR Lead, a part-time Press Officer, and a part-time Senior Press and PR Officer - both focussed on Fundraising and Brand PR, whilst you will be focussed on Policy and Research PR.
In this fast-paced role, you will work to build and maintain relationships with national, regional, and trade journalists to tell varied and compelling stories from one of the UK’s leading homelessness charities. There will be opportunities to speak to services and people with lived experience of homelessness to build timely PR on some of our core issues. With this role, you can also expect to:
- Be part of a busy press office, with journalists contacting us on anything related to service visits to commentary on the Renters’ Rights Bill
- Write creatively and to a variety of audiences, using the full set of tools in your PR arsenal: press releases, opinion pieces, quick-fire comments, photo galleries, and letters to editor
- Be trusted counsel to members of the senior management team and colleagues across the organisation in relation to Press and PR work, providing briefings and practice interviews where appropriate
- Devise timely PR stunts to ensure that homelessness remains high on the media agenda
About you
You might already be working as a Senior Press and PR officer looking for a new challenge or looking for the next step in your media career. Either way, we are looking for a positive, patient, and agile communications professional who has news sense and a genuine interest in supporting the aims and ambitions of St Mungo’s. To be successful in this exciting role you will be someone who:

A fantastic locum opportunity for support workers who have front line experience supporting rough sleepers. You will be working with guests in Crisis at Christmas hotel accommodation to establish move-ons and next steps after the project closes.
Whilst it is not possible to find an immediate housing solution for everyone in the hotels, we aim to give advice and next steps to every guest who stays with us. The Crisis at Christmas project benefits from huge support from the GLA and local authorities, drug & alcohol services and SIAS immigration lawyers from each of the 5 subregions. There is a huge opportunity at Christmas to engage clients who do not usually connect with services, and this is reflected in the offers of support they receive.
You will be employed directly by Crisis during this period, for this reason any applications must be with permission from your current employer which must be sought and cannot be assumed.
Experience required

The Yehudi Menuhin School operates a needs-blind admissions process, and we remain determined that no pupil should ever turn down a place at YMS due to a lack of funding. You will join the Development team at an exciting time for the School. Under new leadership and with pupil numbers at an all-time high, fundraising continues to play a crucial role in securing the future of musical education and helping to develop the next generation of classical musicians. You will build on an existing portfolio of organisations that donate between four and six-figures. Senior Fundraising Manager

We are looking for a Senior Fundraising Manager to join the team in this home based role.
Position: 2443 Senior Fundraising Manager, Grants & Tenders
Location: Homebased
Salary: £39,595 to £46,671 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

You will be working for one of the UK's leading children's charities, firmly supported by Christian beliefs and values, helping to support disadvantaged children and their families through delivering projects to support children, young people, their families, and communities to find long-lasting solutions to the challenges they face.
The Role
As the Senior Fundraising Manager, Grants & Tenders, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of voluntary income, with a target of reaching £5,000,000, and expanding the reach of the Family Hub services across the UK. This role is not just about numbers—it's about transforming lives.
You'll lead a dynamic team of fundraisers, crafting compelling grant applications and proposals that resonate with the charity’s mission. Your strategic thinking and proven track record in developing and managing grants will be crucial as you work alongside passionate colleagues to secure the funds that fuel this work.
Beyond managing the team, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring that grant-funded programmes are not only successful but also align with values of compassionate, fair and committed. With your leadership, you will continue to strengthen family bonds and provide life-changing support to those who need it most.
About You
You will have experience in fundraising and nonprofit management, with a track record that speaks volumes. You will have consistently generated impressive returns on investment through your ability to craft persuasive, emotive bids and proposals that resonate with donors and stakeholders alike.
Your proactive nature and strong analytical skills enable you to identify opportunities and interpret trends, always staying ahead of the curve in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You excel in building and nurturing relationships, whether it’s within your team, across the organisation, or with external partners and donors.
As someone who thrives in a flexible, remote working environment, you are self-motivated and independent, yet a strong team player who is always eager to learn and grow.
