This role would suit someone without management experience, who is already working in an advice role and seeks career development, or equally someone with experience of managing advice services.
You will have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge and recent experience of providing casework in welfare benefits, and a willingness to seek further training in basic housing and community care. We will consider applicants who can add to their base welfare benefits knowledge with intensive training within a short period.
You will carry your own caseload while also providing line management, mentoring and support to one trainee advisor. We would expect the Advice Manager’s caseload to reduce over time as we develop and grow the number of advisors on the team.
A key aspect of this role will be working with the CEO to get the organisation ready for the Advice Quality Standard and on the recruitment, training and support of volunteer advisors.
We would expect the post holder to be proactive in developing the service, preparing information to support funding bids and to be able to think creatively on how we can meet the needs of Camden’s diverse disability community through advice and information.

Database, Social Media and Office Administrator
Merton Mencap is a local charity supporting young people and adults with a learning disabilty and / or autism and their family carers in the borough of Merton.
We provide weekday, weekend and holiday clubs, as well as learning opportunities at our Community Cafe. We hold lots of fundraising events such as indoor sky diving, our annual charity auction and staff joining together to sing Christmas carols in shopping centres to raise funds to support our projects.
This is a varied role and the successful candidate will be pivital to all aspects of the business, working with all members of the Senior Management Team as well as project staff who work across the borough of Merton.
The applicant will be responsible to the Office Manager and will support them in day to day operations for the charity, as well as being a social media and database expert for the charity. Training on our database system will be provided.
The role is office based in our Merton Offices and can be worked over 2 or 3 days per week, 52 wks per year.

This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.
PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.

The Role
The Referrals Officer role is critical to the charity. It ensures that our referral process is managed effectively for our clients and branches.
This is both an internal and external role. The person in this role is the first point of contact for all referral queries. You will assign referrals to branches, liaise with clients and volunteers, and maintain our CRM system.
We seek a strong people person with at least two years of experience operating a CRM system regularly (ideally Salesforce). Experience working to develop a CRM system and client journey would be advantageous.
As a small charity, you will thrive in a busy environment, have excellent prioritisation skills and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. We are a supportive team, and you will work closely with our Operations Manager and wider volunteer delivery colleagues to help REMAP support our clients and branches across the UK.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar position and be comfortable working with a diverse range of volunteers/people. Job Title: Family Practitioner – Mid Wales

We are seeking a part-time Family Practitioner who will support families with blind and partially sighted children and young people to develop improved emotional wellbeing, resilience, and coping strategies.
This post will cover Mid Wales providing predominantly online support with occasional home visits so the ability to visit families and being a car driver with access to your own vehicle will be an advantage. Consideration will be given to applicants across Wales.
You’ll be part of a remote England and Wales wide Family Practitioner team, who work closely together to draw on each other’s skills and experience to ensure families receive the best service from RSBC. The team link together to run online groups that further support the work and join together for two-day team training at our London office at least twice a year, involving paid for overnight stays.
The main purpose of this role is to:
· To establish and maintain a case load of families with blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 0 to 25 who identify themselves as needing support.
· To undertake family assessments to identify specific areas of need; to identify and deliver appropriate interventions that will promote children’s development and emotional wellbeing in collaboration with family members and make and support onward referrals as required.
· To ensure that service delivery meets the high standard that RSBC sets, with pre agreed performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a qualification that demonstrates the ability to establish a trusting and open relationship with families and CYP. You’ll be experienced in providing emotional wellbeing support with families directly and have knowledge of child development from experience or qualification. You’ll know about family systems/systemic practice – from experience or qualification as well as knowledge and practical experience of using family centred interventions in collaboration with families. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong teamwork ethic to fit in with our friendly and knowledgeable team of Family Practitioners across England and Wales.

Role Overview:
The Volunteer Coordinator for WeSwim is a key role responsible for recruiting and onboarding volunteers to support all our activities and events, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for all. This role also supports the setup of new WeSwim clubs in London, raising profile in new areas and developing relationships with new stakeholders to promote the organisation. This position requires a strategic person with excellent marketing, communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Volunteer recruitment & training: Develop and implement a marketing and outreach plan to to attract new volunteers. Create marketing materials to advertise volunteer opportunities & use data to inform recruitment activity. Manage onboarding of volunteers including interviews, DBS and references. Organise and run induction sessions for new volunteers.
- Volunteer management & support: Maintain an up-to-date database of volunteers, including contact information, availability, and skills. Schedule and assign volunteers to sessions based on their availability & monitor attendance. Serve as the main point of contact for all volunteers, addressing enquiries and resolving any issues. Work with Club Committees (lead volunteers) to foster a positive and inclusive environment for volunteers, encouraging teamwork and community spirit.
- Marketing & Communications: Develop social media marketing and email communications to support recruitment and retention of volunteers in line with strategy.
- Setup of new swimming clubs: Scope & contact future pool partners, develop and deliver engagement plans to recruit new volunteers and swimmers to attend the club when it opens in partnership with WeSwim team.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders including: local authorities, community organisations, disability charities & sports clubs. Represent WeSwim at community events, meetings, and public engagements. Develop and implement strategies to increase the club’s visibility and reputation in the community.
Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in volunteer coordination or a related field.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Development of project plans and use of data.

The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) aims to create and develop the conditions that will enable people who have Down's syndrome to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Events Assistant to join our fundraising team. This role is perfect for someone interested in start a career in fundraising and want to learn and develop with the community and challenge events fundraising.
The successful candidate will support the Manager of fundraising events with all challenge events in the portfolio. This includes the planning, organisation, marketing, delivery, recruitment and stewardship of participants and day to day administration for all DSA events.

Main responsibilities:-
· Assist the Manager of Fundraising Events with future event plans and creating and building on our Community Fundraising offer.
· Assist in the sale of items from the shop- especially Christmas cards, socks and merchandise.
· Support and develop relationships with members, supporters who participate in events taking responsibility for the supporter journey; providing motivation and encouragement from start to finish to ensure they continue to support.
· Managing the Events Inbox; Replying to all enquiries coming into the inbox.
· Attend and participate in events as required. This may involve occasional evening and weekend work, for which you will receive equal time back in lieu.
· Assist with the fundraising pages of the website ensuring copy is up to date and relevant and those events that require extra marketing are featured on the home page.
· Work closely with the Communications Team to develop promotional plans for each event maximising recruitment and exposure through our newsletter and social media platforms.
·Provide support to your team members during particularly busy times (and vice versa) such as Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week.
· To undertake any other duties as required by the Manager of Fundraising Events that fall within the grade and remit of this post.
