Neighbourhood Watch Network is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive youth work specialist to deliver and grow our engagement and service work with young people (16-24 year olds), funded by the City Bridge Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with the skills, energy, and passion to engage with young people and youth organisations in local communities, supporting our strategic priority to ensure the voices of young people are heard and fully represented in their communities and throughout our organisation.
The work will be informed and led by the young people you are engaging with. We will expect you to take a collaborative approach to the work with young people, involving them in design and delivery wherever possible. You will be building on the foundations set with our pilot work last year, strengthening our relationships with youth organisations and building new ones in three locations – Hackney, Wandsworth and Croydon. Through these connections, you will get to know the areas and young people who wish to actively engage with their communities and make a positive change around crime prevention and community building.
You will run task groups with young people focused on community action and crime prevention in these three areas, with the support of local volunteers and the Head of Membership and Community Engagement. Using previous learning you will shape and implement 3-4 future place-based models of working with young people, co-developed by young people. You will also be supporting a newly created Youth Council.
The aim of this work is to ensure Neighbourhood Watch is supporting young people to: engage with their communities; address their concerns around crime and personal safety; improve their mental health and wellbeing; build confidence and self-esteem; work through challenges constructively; and help prepare young people for their next steps in life with newly gained skills and experiences for their CVs and future.

The Empowerment Group supports individuals aged 14+ of Black heritage in the UK, facing mental health challenges through online therapy.
The Role:
You will hold lead responsibility for the charity’s new business opportunities and income generation, ensuring the development opportunities are effectively maximised.
As Fundraising Officer your responsibility would primarily be to identify and complete tenders for contracts suited to the work of our organisation both locally and nationally. Your responsibility would also include identifying and completing trust funding applications to Trust funders. You would be responsible for developing fundraising programs/products, recruiting individual and corporate sponsors and encouraging support through promotional activities.
Key duties include:

About you:

- Demonstrable track record as a successful fundraiser and business development professional in the charitable sector.

As the Social Work Team Lead (SWTL) you will monitor and lead the operational delivery of the SSAFA Personal Support & Social Work Service.

This is a collaboration with YMCA East Surrey working in partnership to ensure consistency of support to parents and carers across Surrey. This role will be supporting parent/carers within Elmbridge and Runnymede.
Responsibilities
- To work collaboratively and effectively with statutory and voluntary agencies, to identify parents/carers in need of support and to agree effective referral processes.
- To create, develop and deliver one-to-one interventions, workshops and presentations for small parent/carer groups covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health topics.
- To set up and facilitate peer-to-peer support and discussion groups.
- To identify a range of specialist services and agencies who can offer further support for parents and families
- To work in partnership with YMCA East Surrey who will provide support to parents/carers across Tandridge, Reigate and Banstead
- To promote the service within The Eikon Charity and with statutory and voluntary sector partners across the region – this might include presentations at networking events and production of promotional material.
- To help assess the needs and strengths of the parents/carers referred into the service and help them identify short-term goals to achieve desired change.
- Record and review parent/carer goals using the Goal-Based Outcomes tool and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

As a Youth Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in keeping children safe from harm and supporting them and their families on a path to a brighter future. You’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering Railway Children’s programme in the UK, in partnership with British Transport Police (BTP).

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has worked with vulnerable young people and families, with an in-depth understanding of the issues they face and the impact of trauma. We are currently looking for an innovative and motivated group worker/ youth worker to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
We wish to recruit a Vaping Practitioner to cover the County of Essex, based both at home and within our central office in Chelmsford. This person will deliver the work of The Children's Society to children & young people who are engaged in vaping through the use of individual support and group work, thereby ensuring the children and young people are educated on harm reduction methods and have access to quitting and reduction support.
This role sits within Youth Impact, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support.
Your experience is key in securing this role:
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
-Experience working with young people in a group and one to one setting
-Have understanding of the risks and vulnerabilities young people face especially in relation to vaping
-Have access to a car and a full UK driving license
-Be able to use IT to support case recording and calendar management
You will need substantial experience in working with vulnerable children and young people either in a paid or unpaid capacity. You will have experience of developing and facilitating groups with young people and delivering one to one support both virtually and face to face in the school, community or home setting.
Ideally but not essentially you will have, or be working towards a relevant professional qualification e.g. a Diploma/Certificate in Youth and Community work, counselling, social care or related NVQ or have relevant experience in these fields.

Main Responsibilities of this vacancy:
Multi-Agency Management:

Develop and manage a multi-agency space to provide interventions and solutions to the community's recognized needs.
Local Organizing:

Develop and manage a team of volunteers, who will build relationships and trust with the community.

Explore and understand the experiences bringing people to need the food bank’s support through listening activities and/or research.

Assist the OLM lead in mapping out and building relationships with the food bank’s partners, referral agencies, and local anti-poverty organizations.

Identify local issues driving poverty and engage with the campaign team to develop strategies for change.
Maintenance and Security:

Regularly inspect and maintain the building, grounds, and equipment.

Oversee security, including opening and closing the building and monitoring security systems.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety measures.
Cleaning and Repairs:

Ensure the premises are kept clean and tidy, either directly or by supervising cleaning staff.

Organize and oversee repairs and maintenance work, liaise with contractors, and manage maintenance budgets.

We are seeking a Project Development Leader for a new project partnership between the St Benedict’s Centre and the Diocese of Rochester. The project aims to develop a programme of wellbeing initiatives and interventions to support church leaders with their personal wellbeing. This post is initially funded for 1 year, with funding being sourced for extension of this post beyond that.
The Project Development leader will lead the project from development to implementation with the intention that the programme will launch in January 2026.
Candidates should have experience of leadership in a church setting with project management experience. You should have an understanding of wellbeing issues for frontline workers and knowledge of a variety of therapeutic processes and other interventions. You will have excellent organisational and communications skills.
