In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Graphic Design
- Designing and producing collateral including digital and printed event invitations, leaflets, one-pagers and reports, and finessing presentation materials for senior colleagues, such as pitch decks, ensuring they are on brand and fit for purpose.
- Working with the Communications Manager to rebrand all of Resurgo’s marketing materials in line with the roll-out of a brand refresh scheduled for mid-2025. This will include promotional materials for the Spear Programme, including banners, leaflets, posters, email templates etc.
- Working with internal clients to provide print and digital solutions to marketing needs for a variety of audiences, from young people who are facing barriers to work, to corporate partnerships and funders.
- Art working across print & digital. Preparing files for print and procuring print services, including bespoke print jobs where necessary.
Project management
- Oversee outbound email marketing using Pardot for Resurgo’s audiences, by planning, designing pre-written content, scheduling emails, tracking audience crossover across teams, sharing analytics and making recommendations for improved engagement. Ensure GDPR and consent is adhered to across varying audience groups.
- Set up and manage Resurgo’s Digital Asset Management library, including setting up a catalogue system for new photography created as part of the brand refresh.
Campaigns
- Work with the wider team on campaigns to promote fundraising and awareness, producing campaign plans and project managing implementation across teams. This includes match-funding campaigns working closely with our in-house Philanthropy team.
Person Specification
- A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo’s mission to transform society.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Solid IT skills including MS Office, project management. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, and other programmes such as Canva. A good understanding of print and digital design concepts, (e.g. how to pre-flight a document before printing).
- A keen eye for design for both print (brochures, flyers) and digital (social media assets, email marketing) collateral; understanding the nuances of the two! Knowledge of email marketing tools. Experience of using Pardot (Salesforce’s email marketing system) desirable.
- Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload. Good grasp of marketing trends. Willingness to get stuck in with various other elements of comms work; experience in digital marketing an asset (e.g. website, social media, analytics, video).

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Project Management
- Project manage the creation of content, from website to printed collateral, by working with internal and external designers and suppliers, and across the Resurgo team.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to project manage a website refresh, ensuring timelines and budgets are kept to.
- Work with the Head of Media & Communications and external production companies on film projects, ensuring smooth running of production schedules, transport, locations etc.
Thought Leadership & Copywriting
- Raise brand awareness with external audiences through creating and distributing compelling thought leadership content.
- Produce varied written pieces, including internal and external newsletters; supporter-facing mailings; blogs; thought leadership pieces; news pieces and case studies.
- Copywrite key publications, such as Resurgo’s impact report, supporter updates and other collateral, working with internal stakeholders.
- Create a pipeline of new ideas for thought leadership across our varied audiences, in order to raise brand awareness and build our reputation as an expert in the field of youth employment.
- Support other teams with writing tasks and manage proof-reading as required.
Brand
- Organise photo shoots with external photographers to build a new image bank to reflect the refreshed brand, including sourcing venues, liaising with young people, ensuring that correct permissions are recorded.
- Project manage the roll out of a rebrand which is happening in 2025. Project manage roll out of new brand assets, updated collateral for our Spear centres and central office.
Internal communications
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team, Senior Leadership Team and others to produce internal comms that are consistent, engaging and effective in communicating our goals and updates. Create an internal comms plan that reflects the future of a national organisation with staff in regional hubs.
Press
- Support the Head of Media & Communications to implement the media engagement plan, including drafting press releases, building our media list and writing briefings for colleagues for media opportunities. Scope out new channels including podcasts that align with our organisational goals.
- Report on press engagement and make suggestions for increasing brand awareness through traditional and non-traditional media.
Person Specification
- Excellent copywriting skills and understanding of tone of voice: solid spelling, grammar and clarity; ability to flex tone for relevant audience and channel.

Since 2018, Connect: North Korea (CNK) has grown from a small community start-up into an effective and impactful organisation with an annual income over £500,000, mainly through grants from Trusts and Foundations. We now want to focus on building our supporter base and growing our individual giving programme to secure our long term growth.
As our new Communications and Fundraising Manager, you will play an exciting role in communicating with our individual and corporate supporters, identifying and engaging new supporters and growing our income to help us reach more members of our community.
You will lead on individual communications and fundraising initiatives, communicating in person, traditional and new media, engaging new supporters to our mission, sharing case studies and stories from our community to inspire them to donate. Your storytelling will position us in our supporters’ minds and encourage them to actively support CNK in 2025 and beyond.
Position: Communications and Fundraising Manager
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
Based at: Our offices in New Malden KT3 with some remote/home working. We will be as flexible as possible to accommodate the right candidate.
Contract: Permanent. Full-time (35 hours per week) with occasional evening working required. Flexible hours/days possible whilst respecting core hours of 10am-4pm
Salary: £38,000 - £41,181 + 5% pension and gym membership

With the support of CNK senior management, devise an action plan with measurable KPIs to communicate with our supporters and attract new supporters. You will be responsible for the delivery of this action plan in 2025.

Use online analytics, social media insights, financial reports to report on KPIs (new supporters/followers, website analytics, conversion rates, ROI, number of new donations, average donation amounts) understand supporter motivations and use this learning to adapt our messaging to where each supporter is on their journey from recruitment to regular giving
Communications and Fundraising:

Work with CNK team members to gather information, case studies, quotes and images and convert into compelling and engaging content for social media and our website. ‘

Regularly update our website and social media platforms with insights, opinions, case studies, calls to action, to build our community of supporters

Use social media platforms to build brand awareness and drive traffic to our website

Plan and deliver innovative well thought out funding campaigns to convert existing supporters from once off donations to regular givers, nurture and steward donors to increase the value or frequency of their current donations

Fundraising compliance:

Save all communications and donor profiles, donations, giving history, gift aid agreements, correspondence, and communications with supporters on CNK CRM database. Uphold GDPR and comply with fundraising best practice.
Staff & Volunteer Management

Recruit and manage volunteers to create visual content for social media.
The role has no direct line reports at present but there may be in future, along with the prospect of promotion, budget permitting.
Essential skills and experience:

About the role

This role is focussed on the effective delivery of our integrated warm and cold marketing campaigns. About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Art Director to join our award-winning in-house creative team. This is your chance to shape compelling campaigns that inspire action, drive awareness, and create a tangible impact. You’ll bring a unique blend of big ideas, strategic thinking, and hands-on design skills to ensure Shelter’s messages resonate powerfully across all platforms.
From ideation to launch, you’ll be responsible for delivering ambitious, research-driven concepts and solutions. You should feel equally at home designing to our brand guidelines and leading the charge on your own innovative concepts. Occasionally, you’ll also step in to support with general design needs, ensuring that all outputs for the Shelter brand meet the highest creative standards while maintaining brand consistency. A strong command of Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
In this varied, fast-paced, and rewarding role, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues— specifically working alongside our Senior conceptual Copywriter taking briefs from concept to completion. You’ll lead some projects independently while receiving support and guidance from the Creative Lead when needed. The role offers an opportunity to work across a range of media, including print, TV, social media, and experiential designs. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, creating communications for teams in fundraising, campaigns, services, and occasionally retail.
You’ll also take on a mentoring role for one of our in-house designers, helping them develop their creative skills while ensuring their work consistently represents the Shelter brand to the highest standards. Supporting their wellbeing in the workplace will also be part of your leadership approach.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications as well as the Events and Programme Manager, the postholder will support the delivery of the training and consultancy programme and support the communications and digital function at SMK.
With the Head of Marketing and Communications you will support SMK’s communications and marketing activity, aimed at strengthening our stakeholder relations, growing our profile and amplifying our reputation. The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is the leading welfare charity supporting current and former members of the RAF, their partners and families, providing practical, emotional and financial support, whenever they need us.
This is a brand new role and would suit someone who has excelled in a similar role within a fundraising environment, or even in a similar marketing role in the private sector, to play a big part in defining, shaping and delivering the donor engagement strategy. The role has been created to support the new fundraising strategy objective to retain over 10k regular donors, and to drive deeper engagement with over 30k supporters. The postholder will have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the Fund’s long-term income.
You will be part of the Individual Giving Department (working specifically within the Direct Marketing team) maximising donor engagement through both offline and digital activity. The postholder will take the lead on scoping, proposing and implementing multi-channel stewardship campaigns with the right message to the right people at the right time.
You will have proven experience in managing donor stewardship / customer retention campaigns across a broad number of channels as well as setting and managing budgets and meeting KPIs.
