About Us

Climate Change All Change (CCAC) is an innovative charity on a mission to empower the next generation to confront the climate crisis head-on. Through our national primary schools programme, we bring together education, design, and climate action to inspire young people to become leaders in mitigating and transcending the effects of climate change. After successful pilot projects, we’re expanding, and we need a diligent Senior Project Officer to help us grow.

Position Overview

Known internally at CCAC as Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the expansion of our flagship schools programme, working alongside educators, designers, and our senior development team. Your ability to organise, lead, and streamline operations will directly support our charity’s mission. This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week) with flexible remote working options, but occasional in-person meetings in London and at primary schools across the country. The candidate will need the skills and ambition to take on a wider and / or more focused role as CCAC grows and evolves.

Key Responsibilities
• Project Coordination: Lead the growth of our primary school co-design programme, ensuring that processes and systems are in place to support expansion.

About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Started in 2016, its vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. In 2024 our workforce of over 200 staff and 13,000 volunteers collected and distributed the equivalent of 38 million meals to Londoners in need. This is done through a network of 1,200 community organisations and schools who are working on the frontline to feed people who are experiencing hunger and cannot afford to regularly buy the food they need. The Felix Project works with hundreds of suppliers from across the food industry, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms and restaurants to rescue high quality surplus food, that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste. 

In London, one in for working families regularly struggle to afford to feed their children, equating to an estimated 325,000 families across the capital. The cost of food has increased by 30% in the past three years and one in eight working families have less than £3 a day for food, after paying their bills. About 20% of working families have been forced to access a food support service for the first time during 2024 due to the rising cost of living. 

Our work has never been more needed, and demand continues to grow: we are building our expertise and impact in response. The Felix Project now operates from four main depots in North, South, East, and West London, with ‘point-to-point’ projects in Central London and Canary Wharf. Felix’s Kitchen in our East London depot produces up to 5,000 meals per day from surplus food. Felix’s Multibank in West London distributes non-food items to those who need it most. As part of the charity’s involvement with The Coronation Food Project, we are launching an innovative food processing lab – The Felix Food Factory. 

About the role 

This is a new and vital role which sits within the Income Generation & Marketing (IGM) team.  The successful postholder will be required to build excellent working relationships with colleagues in both finance and IT. 

The IGM team is in a period of growth, aiming to be 30 strong by the end of 2025. Our goal is to drive increased revenue to £18.5m over the next year with a target of £21M by 2029. Data insight and management will be a fundamental enabler of the strategy.  

We require this postholder to share our ambition; to have experience of a charity going through rapid growth. You will lead on opportunities to refine and reset the use of our database (Microsoft Dynamics) and streamline income processes to optimise supporter relationship management and financial performance.  

Your work will be extremely varied from auditing the use of our database by teams, recommending how we might deploy off the shelf new functionality, maintaining data integrity, ensuring data compliance in everything we do, to daily income processing tasks including recommending how we might use the latest API options to improve our existing processes. We are looking for a seasoned database and income processing manager; someone who will thrive as a single point of contact on behalf of fundraising. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

CRM 

Become the expert product owner of the Income Generation CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and work with the income generation and marketing team, IT team, and others to ensure that data is stored securely, maintained appropriately (including running regular data cleansing), and can be analysed. This database is shared across the organisation, so the postholder will be comfortable working with colleagues on decisions impacting the whole CRM. 

Audit how we currently use MSD creating a gap analysis and work with IT Systems Engineers to scope out potential functionality upgrades.  

Work with IGM, MSD and other charity users to understand how Felix can optimise the CRM’s use.  

Systems Integration 

Be part of a system improvement team looking at automation, process improvements and system integrations (e.g. CRM/Business Central/the charity donate platform Donor Box and third-party income generation platforms like Just Giving) 

Income Processing

Work with the Financial Accountant to ensure that income is uploaded and correctly coded to Microsoft Dynamics. Understand the setup, data capture and data validity of online income providers used by The Felix Project. Process donations from multiple income streams into CRM and work with Finance Team colleagues to ensure a smooth income reconciliation process. Manage relationships with third party income generation platform operators.  

Help The Felix Project to maximise return from the Gift Aid scheme by ensuring declarations are added correctly and updated where necessary. 

Business Intelligence and Usability 

Become a super user of both Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Fabric (PowerBi) within the IGM team to support reporting across the team  

Lead audit of how IGM team is using database and data visualisation tools, ensure full training on currently available product. 

Create and publish a suite of KPI reporting for SMT.   

Key Skills

About the role

The post-holder will provide independent advocacy in various settings, including in the community, people’s homes, and hospital settings including mental health wards. You will work as part of the Ealing advocacy team. You may also need to carry out your role in other London boroughs.

Hours of work: 26.5 hours per week (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 5pm. Friday 9.30 am – 1.30 pm.)

*Responding to enquiries to the CarersLine service via telephone and email online for information, advice, guidance and support.

*Recent experience in a customer service role, providing a service that may include advice and/or support work

An exciting opportunity exists to support a growing fundraising programme at one of London’s strongest independent schools. The last few years have been our office’s most exciting: donations have helped grow the endowment to £2.7M, and many of our bequest intenders have revealed the total value of their legacies will be nearly £2M. Further, our Governors have just appointed Dan Gabriele, Deputy Principal of Caterham School, as the new Head of Colfe’s. He will take up this post in September, and our office will be key in advancing his vision. An essential part of this small but busy team, this is the perfect job for someone already in fundraising and looking to advance their career. The successful candidate will be highly organized and adaptable, have a strong attention to detail and be willing to pitch in as needed. The School

Colfe’s is one of London’s oldest schools, taking its name from Reverend Abraham Colfe, Vicar of Lewisham, who founded the school in 1652. In his will, he entrusted the School to the Leathersellers’ Livery Company, which governs the school today. A former grammar school, Colfe’s has been a fully co-educational day school for 20 years with nearly 1300 pupils in all from ages 3 to 18. Colfe’s is not a stuffy school, but a happy place with a deep feeling of community among its students, parents, staff and alumni. This provides a terrific platform for this position to thrive upon.

Fundraising Priority

Every year, up to 12 pupils from non-privileged backgrounds at local state schools are awarded 100% bursaries to join our Sixth Form. Named our Leatherseller Scholars, these pupils are academically bright but often qualify for free school meals, and many have no access to a sixth form in their current schools. The Leathersellers’ Company launched this programme in 2009, and today, their grants are combined with donations to the Colfe’s Charitable Trust. However, awarding even more bursaries is urgent and essential. Applications for these awards are extremely high, and this demand now outpaces what we can provide in support. We must expand our fundraising efforts so that Colfe’s can support even more deserving pupils.

Data and evidence are vital in prioritising our work across the organisation and building the Freshwater Network. They are also vital when influencing external audiences to achieve our mission to reverse the decline in freshwater biodiversity. 

This is a new role in the organisation and reflects an urgent requirement to collate, organise and manage a large volume of research, survey and other data collected by Freshwater Habitats Trust over the last four decades, the potential of which is not currently being fully realised. 

It is critical that through the development of an organisational data strategy we can:

· Provide evidence of our research and advocacy.

· Showcase Freshwater Habitats Trust’s expertise.

· Facilitate effective teamwork within and between project and organisational teams.

· Enable efficient project delivery and public / partner engagement.

· Guide the strategic delivery of conservation projects through Important Freshwater Area analysis mapping and reporting.

The role will work closely with the strategic Research and Data Sub-Group of the Senior Management Team who are responsible for driving this work forwards.

 Position Overview

The Finance Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and strategy of the Barnabas Aid family globally, ensuring that all financial activities align with our mission and values. Reporting directly to the Chief Support Officer (CSO), the Finance Director will lead the finance team and work closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of non-profit and charitable financial management, compliance, and funding. The Finance Director will be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Main purpose of post 

This is a wide-ranging regional fundraising role, covering community fundraising and events activity across the charity’s geographical reach of South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.

You will be required to initiate, develop and grow new and existing fundraising opportunities and relationships with community groups, organisations and schools utilising your passion and understanding for excellent donor stewardship and donor care, ensuring our supporters feel valued and appreciated. 

You will work with the wider fundraising, volunteer and marketing team to ensure effective implementation of the events and campaigns activities regionally, as well as cultivate and recruit new and existing supporters and volunteers to participate in fundraising and third-party events to raise the profile and income of the charity.

Key Responsibilities

· Developing and maintaining sustainable relationships with supporters in local communities, this will involve extensive travel across the geographical area of the charity

· Working as part of a supportive fundraising team to positively promote Weston Park Cancer Charity within South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.

· Implementing fundraising plans for identified fundraising supporters and audience groups, in order to deliver on specified fundraising targets.

· Managing community fundraising supporter relationships to a high standard, to ensure excellent stewardship and donor care.

· To be a consistent and visible presence within the local community to raise the profile of the charity and increase brand awareness.

· Support the wider fundraising team with innovative and creative ideas for income generation that make us stand out from the crowd.

· Ensure that all communication and interaction with donors is captured through the Fundraising database CRM System and that all donors are thanked timely and efficiently.

· Contributing to the positive culture of the charity and outwardly in the region.

· Take ownership of your individual Learning & Development needs.

· Provide support for fundraising initiatives, campaigns & events during the year, working closely with the wider team to ensure the success of the charities strategic plan.

· Represent the charity by attending cheque presentations and talks to promote the work that we do. 

· Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an active, invested member of our team

· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region to attend both charity and supporter led events

· Able to work flexibly, including working in the evenings and at weekends.

· Apply the guidance provided by the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising or any fundraising governing bodies to any fundraising activity

DETAILS 

• Contract type: Fixed term contract, 2 years. Full-time, 35 hours a week (Monday to Friday).
• Salary: GBP 27,000 – 32,000 per annum, dependent on experience (the range is aligned to London cost of living and would be adjusted according to the appointee's location).

Responsibilities 

The Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant is responsible for managing and recording financial transactions for the organisation. This includes maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts. This role plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health of the organisation.

1. Record Financial Transactions: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

2. Reconcile Bank Accounts: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up to date.

3. Prepare Payment Schedules: Preparation of payment schedules across three entities in multiple currencies. Ensure that all financial practices comply with the organisations internal policies.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Track outstanding invoices, process incoming and outgoing online payments, ensuring invoices are accurate and payments are made on time. Follow up with clients or vendors as needed.

5. Expense Reporting: Review and verify employee expenses and ensure compliance with the organisations policies.

6. Maintain General Ledger: Manage the general ledger and ensure that all transactions are posted correctly to the appropriate accounts.

7. Month end Journals: Create journal entries for financial transactions, if required. Knowledge of accrual and prepayment journals is beneficial.

8. Assist with Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support during financial audits.

9. Maintain Financial Records: Ensure all financial records are stored properly and accessible for future reference.

10. Maintain Finance inbox and emails: Communicate with other team members across the organisation on financial queries. Maintain and organise the finance inbox daily.

11. Preparation of VAT returns: Assist finance officers with preparation of quarterly VAT returns.

12. Supporting the Finance team: Ad-hoc support may be required during project audits and activities.

13. Finance Administration: Manage weekly finance-related postal mail, occasional bank visits and petty cash management.

Key Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role; experience with accounting software (e.g. Iplicit, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
• Proficient in online banking and other payment platforms.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
• Strong understanding in foreign currencies and conversions.
