About the Role
The charity’s mission is to make data work for nature. The Better Biodiversity Data (BBD+1) programme is a bold new step towards transforming how biodiversity data is managed, accessed and used to support conservation, planning and policy decisions in Scotland.
As the new Data and Digital Services Manager, you’ll play a vital role in implementing and supporting a new, shared biodiversity data system developed with and for Scotland’s biodiversity community. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you will:
• Work closely with local environmental records centres (LERCs), NGOs, recording groups, government agencies and developers
• Support system configuration and data migration activities
• Lead ongoing digital service delivery and user support
• Build strong relationships and drive user-focused development
• Contribute to the long-term sustainability of a nationally significant biodiversity data infrastructure
This role sits at the heart of an ambitious and funded project, based on the recommendations of the Scottish Biodiversity Information Forum (SBIF) Review and delivered in partnership with NatureScot and the Scottish Government.
About You
We’re looking for a confident digital services lead or data manager who is:
• Experienced in managing data systems or services in multi-stakeholder environments
• Skilled in data standards, integration and system support
• A great communicator, collaborator and problem-solver
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote role
• Passionate about using data to drive change in environmental or public sectors
Experience in biodiversity, conservation or not-for-profit sectors would be a bonus, but not essential.

About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented and passionate team of Dementia Advisers in Greater Manchester.
Within this role you will be providing dementia knowledge and expertise across Stockport, working in close partnership with the memory clinic and other providers. The role will include offering support within a hospital setting, supporting people after a diagnosis of dementia and having a presence to offer information sessions and networking with hospital staff to increase awareness and encourage referral and engagement.
The role will include facilitation of our popular Singing for the Brain group on a fortnightly basis.
As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity of providing support, information and guidance to people with dementia, their carers and families, supporting them to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, putting them in more control of their lives.
The Dementia Adviser service is unique to everyone, based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will offer support in a variety of ways to include in people’s homes or various locations within the community, face to face, by phone, letter or email. You will also support people to access other services, providing signposting and referrals.
About you
- Passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being by enabling them to take more control of their lives.
- You have some knowledge or personal experience of dementia and the challenges people affected by dementia may face.
- Experience with communicating with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding at all levels.
- Able to network effectively and collaborating with other professionals to achieve a positive outcome for people.
- Experience of managing and supporting people within a group setting.
- Good IT skills, including experience working with databases and virtual meeting software (Teams / Zoom).
- Ability to organise your own work to ensure it is accurate, meets quality targets, deadlines and reporting requirements.
- The ability to travel across Greater Manchester independently as often as required
What you’ll focus on:
- Providing a person-centred and outcomes focused information and advice service to people affected by dementia and their carers.
- Identifying people’s needs and the services they may wish to access, giving advice about how to live well with dementia and support the improvement of their sense of wellbeing.
- You will be community based which means working from home and spending time in the community completing home visits, attending networking meetings and promoting our service at events and occasionally giving dementia awareness talks to groups.
- You will aim to reach people affected by dementia from all communities and work hard to ensure your service is inclusive.
- Working with a variety of professionals from health, social care, voluntary and community sectors. You will build relationships to ensure referrals into our service, and you have knowledge of services and support available for people with dementia and carers living in Stockport.

About the Role
As Young People Support Worker you will work under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for a caseload of clients as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service. The successful candidate will lead several of our major climate change and nature projects, including the UKRI Net Zero Living project - working with 28 Councils to embed meaningful public participation in their route to net zero. You will also contribute to the training, standards setting and advocacy work that Involve does - maintaining and growing our reputation in climate and environment networks and communicating the contribution we can make and impact that we are having.
We have a significant track record in public deliberation on climate change. We ran the first Climate Assembly in the UK and have since delivered many projects in this area including the People’s Plan for Nature. We have developed a reputation for best practice public dialogue, deliberation and capacity building. We want to grasp the opportunity for deliberative practices to make a real contribution to the change needed to respond to the climate crisis. This is a great opportunity to play a central role in taking this work forward. We are looking for someone to bring experience in designing and running participatory and deliberative processes and a good understanding of the complexities and challenges of climate and/or nature. As part of Midland Air Ambulance Charity’s (MAAC) corporate team, the Corporate Partnership Executive is responsible for taking a proactive approach to raising the profile of the charity and deepening relationships with businesses in the communities we serve.
You will provide support to the Senior Partnership Executive and the wider team helping to implement the corporate fundraising strategy via in person and online engagement methods, leading on activity within Staffordshire.
Your focus will be to ensure income growth from corporate sources and activity comprising of new business development, account management and affinity partnerships. As a longstanding charity, we have established networks in place, however alongside this the post holder will need to innovate and develop new ways of working in line with the ever-changing external environment (i.e., global/national trends, corporate best practise such as CSR and ESG) as well as in response to opportunities and challenges happening in the south of our region.

You will be joining a large team of Money Advisers providing specialist level debt and benefit advice and casework.
We have 2 posts available - 1 based in our Brighton and Hove office, and the second either based in our office, but fully remote working possible. For both posts you will have lots of variety, providing telephone specialist debt and benefit advice and casework across a range of projects. If you are based in our office you will also deliver face-to-face advice both in the office and other outreach locations including Foodbanks and with inpatients.
Ideally you will hold a qualification in Money Advice, obtained either through the Institute of Money Advisers or the Money and Pensions Service. If you do not have a qualification, you must be prepared to work towards obtaining this, included some study in your own time. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be comfortable delivering advice in person and by phone, and be able to plan and organise your work effectively.

We are looking for a Community Fundraiser who is an excellent communicator and an energetic self-starter. You are comfortable with working independently, but ready to utilise the support of colleagues across the Fund. Above all, you naturally build rapport to quickly establish relationships and develop innovative partnerships. No one day will be the same and as part of the regional team, you will be the local face and voice of the Fund on the ground. You will quickly build your understanding of the key influencers in your community, and you will ensure they understand what we do so they will want to be associated with the charity. You will be responsible for raising income through existing networks of supporters, volunteers and building new relationships within the RAF, community groups and local business.
The role is primarily community based in East Anglia and requires travel around the region (Cambridgeshire, London Kent, Essex & Suffolk) and occasional overnight stays. Some evening and weekend work is also required during the busier months at planned events when required. The candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the regions. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need a full UK driver’s license; to be Basic DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

About The Respect Young People’s Service (RYPS)
The Respect Young People’s Service (RYPS) provides high quality, training, consultation and support for practitioners working with young people who harm. They create innovative, evidence based intervention to promote behaviour change and reduce the risk of harm. There are 2 main branches of the work: young people who harm parents or carers and young people who harm in intimate relationship abuse
About the role:
This is an exciting and innovative opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational lead to galvanise the response to CAPVA (Child or adolescent to parent violence or abuse) within the Merseyside area. This is a second tier role which involves coordinating, training and supporting professionals to recognise and respond to CAPVA. The postholder will be engaging with a variety of professionals who work across services dedicated to children and young people including health, education, early help and children’s services.
The aim of the role is to remove the barriers families face in accessing support by ensuring that staff in universal services can recognise and respond to CAPVA. Working to reduce the stigma and shame associated with CAPVA and ensuring that parents can reach out in confidence that they will be listened to and supported.
The role involves mapping and coordinating current CAPVA intervention to identify systemic gaps in provision. The post holder will be responsible for developing and building a delivery plan focusing on identified gaps, building on current provision and providing training in identified areas of need. They will need to bring together the insights of service users, practitioners, specialist organisations and researchers to build solutions.
Extensive CAPVA knowledge is not required as full training will be given. A background of working with young people who harm and training experience is essential as is a non judgemental approach.

Main Tasks:

Map existing CAPVA provision and available referral pathways in Merseyside.

Build relationships with key statutory and voluntary agencies

Lead the planning and execution of the CAPVA project in Merseyside, ensuring new systems, processes, and initiatives are effectively integrated across the borough.
