What you’ll be doing:

The role of the Head of DDaT Portfolio Delivery will have:

• Deep understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, DevOps, Agile, and Scrum practices, with experience in AI, ML, RPA, UX, design, end-user testing, and requirements gathering.
• Ability to analyse complex problems, devise solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure projects stay on track.

At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.

This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Multi-Skilled Engineer in our Facilities team at St Joseph’s Hospice. We are looking for someone who has experience in plumbing, mechanical and electrical working in a palliative care/clinical environment.

The role will provide support to the team and carry out repairs to mechanical and plumbing services and equipment, e.g. replacement of filters in ventilation systems, check tensions of drive belts, record details of works, materials and time on a docket or our helpdesk system. The role will also support with programmed planned maintenance works to mechanical and plumbing services such as checking temperature of water taps and outlets, descaling showerheads, following prescribed instructions to defined standards, record actions and/or findings using a formal written report system and provide information to the Head of Facilities on replacement parts and spares to enable orders to be raised.

About you

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Either BTEC National Certificate (HNC Electronic Engineering). Or Completion of at least 4yr apprenticeship of Practical and Theoretical Training as an Electronic Technician or equivalent
• Good knowledge of plumbing materials sufficient to be able to maintain and discuss the maintenance needs of water systems i.e. pump and pipe sizes and their uses
• Good knowledge on health and Safety risk assessment and relevant Health and Safety legislation.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner drives the P&C operational effectiveness in Country Offices, facilitates organisational development and change and provides a framework for best people’s practice and quality standards. The P&C Business Partner also supports the organization in developing and implementing initiatives that encourage diversity, promote equity, and support psychological and physical safety of the workforce.

International travel including security high risk countries up to 6 times a year and extended screen time will be required. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Operational delivery (30%) 

• Provide advice and influence action on P&C global policies, and in collaboration with local P&C Specialists advice on local policies and employment law to staff and management based in Country Offices (COs). 
• Support the timely review of local policies and embed best practice, ensuring local needs and culture are reflected.
• Work with Chief People and Culture Office (CPCO), P&C Directors, the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Safeguarding Specialist, Global Directors of Country Offices and Logistics Manager to identity and mitigate people related risks in COs and prevent and resolve issues. 

Quality Assurance (20%) 

• Drive efficiency and quality assurance  of P&C operational practices in COs by conducting assessments and P&C Audits, and work with P&C Specialists and Country Directors (CDs) to enhance the employee experience, ensure consistency, continuous improvement and enhance People’s capacity in country. 
• Support CDs to ensure compliance and manage P&C risks as per country risk register and audits’ actions. 
• Contribute to the data gathering, analysis and presentation of P&C reports, to enable decision making Identifies trends, propose actions for improvement and instigate implementation. 

Employee Relations and Employee Services (30%) 

• Monitor the whistleblowing line and ensure timely action is taken in all complaints received related to COs. 
• Oversee and work with P&C and COs management on the prevention and effective resolution of employee relations issues and adherence to disciplinary procedures. Responsible for maintaining confidential records. 
• Conduct investigations and liaise with legal firms and/or investigators to resolve ER cases. 
• Identify trends and areas of concerns based on data channels i.e. surveys and exit interviews and proposes actions. 

Diversity, Equity Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) (10%) 

• Embed DEIA approaches in policies and processes, to create a framework that welcomes and supports staff regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, language, ability, status, and location. 
• Work with the Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee (GDEIAC) to communicate DEIA strategy and establish measurable goals to track progress.

We’re looking for a proactive professional to support our mission to transform loneliness into connection among isolated people and under-served groups in Tower Hamlets.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have the chance to own and drive forward Globe Community Project’s communications strategy, taking a proactive approach to campaigns and initiatives, social media and supporter engagement, and meeting targets to inform, grow and reward our supporter base.

You’ll be joining the charity at a time of growth, and there’s scope for you to make a huge impact on our ability to reach and connect even more isolated people. As a loneliness charity, our communications are key.

You’ll either be in part-time work and looking for more hours, or a freelancer with space to take this on. You could work your hours across one or more days; we don’t mind as long as you can drive results, be flexible and responsive where needed. 

You must live locally or within easy reach of East London, and have the right to live and work in the UK.

Campaigns and initiatives
Producing compelling and impactful communications.

• Writing copy.
• Creating and developing content and graphics.
• Publishing on, and assisting with the development of, the GCP website.

Social media
Full responsibility for the social media channels.

• Creating and scheduling posts and content
• Engaging with others and with relevant trends.
• Setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

Supporter engagement
Keeping supporters and donors informed and involved.

• Crafting and designing compelling emails, with at least 1 email newsletter per month.
• Promoting opportunities for participation – including surveys, volunteering and

• Refining segments and user journeys.

Strategy

• Making key contributions to the development and delivery of our strategic communications plan, including setting targets and timeframes within your first month.

Community events

• Gathering stories and content from participants at our activities in East London.

The Adult Carers Team Leader reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for leading and managing the Adult Carers team. 

You will provide leadership and stability to the Adult Carers staff team, by line managing, coaching and supporting employees to create a happy, productive work environment. You will work within the Adult Carers team to deliver an engaging, accessible range of peer support groups, social activities and one to one support, working to targets and budget, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to funders.

This role requires you to work collaboratively with carers and professionals to meet carers’ needs and shape the service, building and maintaining strong partnerships to do so. You will support our wider organisational objectives and help out with events, communications and other ad hoc work.

My client is a world class research institute and university college. Top of the league for university research quality, they are in the top four centres worldwide for their specialist research and treatment.

To support the delivery of an ambitious new strategy, the organisation has begun a programme of transformation to ensure they are ready to meet the challenges of the future. A critical part of this workstream is the implementation of a new ERP system, and at present they are looking to appoint an interim Financial Planning and Analysis Lead for the programme.

Reporting to the ERP Project lead, key elements of the role include:

· Responsible for the design and implementation of the future management information, financial planning and reports.

· Work with the finance directorate and budget holders to establish the business requirements and ensure professional accounting quality standards are met.

· Lead on the design of the organisation’s performance reporting in collaboration with other directorates.

· Provide strategic analysis, support and advice to the programme board on the financial and commercial management of the programme.

In order to be successful in the role, we are looking for;

• A formally qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA) with significant, demonstrable experience of financial planning and  business partnering within a complex organisation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and model financial data objectively, delivering clarity and constructive challenge
• Appetite for change and a continuous improvement mindset
• A collaborative approach to project management and influencing skills.

Experience of the charity sector and/or the higher education sector is desirable however we welcome applications from the wider public and private sector.

As the Communications Manager, you will create and implement a series of campaigns throughout the year to clarify our charity’s impact and amplify our mission. We're looking for those that can use compelling storytelling to lead impactful campaigns and influence our target audiences.

As a senior member of the team, you will take a lead on coaching and mentoring others and you will support in shaping and delivering our communications strategy, ensuring our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our vision.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the charity to develop and deliver campaigns that increase the awareness of our brand, the impact of our work and the change we believe is needed. 

What you’ll bring to the role: 

• Experience as a communications manager or in a similar role 

• Experience of developing and implementing strategic communications plans

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling and producing a range of written materials including press releases, media statements, fundraising copy etc

• Proficiency in digital communications, including managing websites, social media platforms, and analytics tools 

It would be advantageous to come from the charity, non-profit, or social impact sector, however this is not essential. Please state in your supporting statement how your values align to ours and why you wish to work in this sector.

Location & Travel  

Home-based with travel to visit Communities in Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Yorkshire, and Worcestershire. You will also be expected to visit London every few months. Occasional overnight stays will be required. Ideally you will be located within travel corridors of Midlands to London or Manchester to York.
