We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to drive forward and innovate our digital marketing strategy, ensuring our online visibility, engagement and revenue are key enablers for our fundraising efforts. 

Sitting within the Marketing and Communications team, this strategic role will focus on delivering impactful digital experiences to strengthen our brand presence, maximise audience reach and support growth. The role is primarily based at the charity office at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, with the requirement to also work from the charity office at Birmingham Women’s Hospital alongside some remote and out of hours working.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be accountable for the performance of our website, email, SEO, CRM, PPC and paid social, ensuring all our digital channels are optimised for both awareness and income generation. This hands-on role will see you lead the team to implement, deliver and evaluate exceptional and effective digital activity, using data and insight to inform decisions. To spearhead our digital marketing transformation, you’ll need to be an ambitious and experienced professional, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Your skills and passion will see you:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with our income growth objectives
• Shape the way we connect with our audiences, primarily through strategic (but not limited to) use of email, content creation, website management, SEO, PPC, paid social and CRM marketing
• Identify opportunities to maximise brand awareness, engagement and online revenue generation
• Track, analyse and report on digital performance metrics, providing actionable insights as well as data and market research to improve and inform digital marketing effectiveness
• Oversee the delivery, roll-out and continual improvement of a new website by setting the strategy, implementing SEO best practices and using data insight and analytics to improve visibility and traffic, as well as establishing engaging user journeys which increase conversion rates and improve fundraising campaigns
• Plan, execute and optimise bespoke digital campaigns, paid as well as organic, which leverage data to refine strategies, boost engagement, maximise reach and increase supporter interaction and brand advocacy
• Lead the creation, segmentation, automation and deployment of email and CRM campaigns to enhance audience journeys and maximise engagement and conversion, using performance and insights to inform improvements
• Maximise our paid advertising accounts, including Google Ads, monitoring performance to ensure they are data-driven, cost-efficient and deliver ROI as well as cross-selling opportunities
• Maintain a culture of data-driven decision making and bring visibility and transparency to marketing activity by regularly reporting impact against objectives, trend spotting as well as using a variety of data and analytics tools to raise the profile and understanding of digital marketing across the charity
• Safeguard the integrity of the charity’s digital presence ensuring it complies with data protection regulations, the Freedom of Information Act and any other applicable legislation.

The Role

As a Partnerships & Philanthropy Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of high-value supporters across corporate, philanthropic, and charitable trust income streams. This is a fundamental role within our North regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer. The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. We are working with a small medical charity to find a new Trusts and Grants Manager to lead efforts to identify, research and apply for grants and nurture ongoing relationships with the grant-giving bodies.

The Candidate

Partnerships Engagement Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Partnership Engagement Officer. In this role, you will support the organisation's fundraising efforts with a particular focus on supporting and delivering first-class engagement and stewardship strategies across for one of our key corporate partners.

The Role

As part of the national partnerships team, you will play a key role in driving income, supporting engagement strategies, and maintaining relationships across the partnerships and philanthropy portfolio. Working closely with the membership team and network of 200+ members, you will help develop and deliver effective fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive income generation through partnerships and member engagement.

• Support fundraising strategy development and delivery.

• Manage communications and engagement between partners and members.

• Facilitate corporate volunteering opportunities.

• Coordinate key partnership activities and fundraising campaigns.

Responsibilities of our Senior Legacy Marketing Officer:

• The Senior Legacy Marketing Officer is responsible for delivering Cats Protection’s marketing and stewardship programmes for Gifts in Wills and Free Wills.
• This role will focus on developing annual plans, managing budgets and delivering activity across multiple communication channels (both acquisition and retention), in order to grow the active legacy file and increase future legacy income in line with Cats Protection’s income generation strategy and targets.

• Significant experience in a legacy fundraising and/or direct marketing role

This senior role is crucial in shaping, developing, and implementing safeguarding and risk management policies and processes that support CISV’s mission of fostering intercultural understanding. The post holder will oversee the safeguarding and risk management systems for all of CISV’s global peace education programmes, ensuring they meet high safety standards and comply with legal and regulatory frameworks. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will report directly to the CEO and lead a small staff team as well as a volunteer network of risk managers, providing training, guidance, and expert advice on risk management and safeguarding matters.

The successful candidate will be a people person and a charismatic leader, conscious that empowering colleagues and volunteers is more effective than just ‘managing them.’ You will bring significant senior-level safeguarding experience, ideally in child protection, along with a strong understanding of UK safeguarding laws and the regulatory requirements of the Charity Commission. RESPONSIBILITIES

We expect to recruit from our members and from the community of those who stammer or those who support people who stammer (speech & language therapists, family and friends).

• Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. 
• Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
• Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for volunteers and ensure processes comply with the charity’s values
• Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
• Support and recruit volunteer community leaders for our groups and networks; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders.  Longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.
• Keep records on which community groups are active and identify areas of need and feedback mechanisms.
• Work with Content & Communications Lead to produce regular mailings and volunteer recruitment campaigns.
• Keep up to date with legislation, best practice and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
• Maintain the database of volunteers and ensure all volunteers are registered members.
• Manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a hybrid role, and all staff are expected to attend team meetings, held in London, every 6-8 weeks.
Candidates need to be based within mainland UK as they will be expected to attend in-person staff meetings and visit local groups.
