About us

Who we are

We run two continuous prison programmes aimed at helping people put prison behind them and build lives they want to live. Through Choirs Beating Time, we create prison choirs that serve their communities while preserving mental health and promoting social inclusion. People who feel excluded and have poor mental health cannot find or make work. Through Inside Job we find jobs for people on release and provide them the practical and emotional support needed to get into work. It is a peer-led programme – we train serving prisoners to help other serving prisoners find employment, with support from our in-community team.

Our culture and values

We have a flexible work option across our offices, remote from home and visiting our network of prisons. We trust you to do your role well and don't look for candidates who like being micromanaged.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

Our team is proudly diverse. Many of us — including our amazing Community Consultants — have lived through the criminal justice system. Your background and story matter to us.
