You will lead and deliver effective, high-quality communications across digital and traditional channels, manage and mentor the Communications Officer, and play a key role in developing and delivering our communications strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and implement AGCAS’s communications strategy, with opportunities to shape and refine it.

United Bible Societies (UBS) is a global fellowship dedicated to making the Bible accessible to everyone, forming a network of 155 independent Bible Societies operating in 240 countries and territories worldwide. The strategic and operational needs of the UBS members are supported by the Global Mission Team (GMT).

A key member of the Senior Finance team, coordinating the GMT finance function. The role ensures that financial budgets, forecasts and management accounts support UBSA in achieving its objectives and contributes to the implementation of finance and related systems and processes that are relevant, effective and efficient to serve UBSA. The role and your key responsibilities
 

As a Senior Account Manager, your role is to line manage a regional team of Account Managers to maximise partner engagement and ensure we retain sky-high resubscription rates. You will manage your regional team’s objectives and regularly monitor and report on progress towards this. 

Alongside managing your team, you’ll work with a cohort of partner schools and colleges, facilitating an environment which identifies and promotes best practice across partners within your region. Using data analysis across schools and colleges within your region, you’ll identify trends and opportunities to further increase the use of Unifrog, maximising engagement and resubscription rates.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Line manage a regional team of Account Managers to achieve their resubscription and engagement goals, delivering weekly check-ins with each team member to review their progress with partners.

• Run team meetings with your regional Account Management team to review key engagement strategies, objectives and share best practice.

• Meet weekly with the Head of Account Management, reporting on progress with your partners, and the progress of your regional team.

• Analyse regional engagement data to spot trends and work closely with the Head of Account Management to devise and implement strategies to improve on any areas of low engagement.

• Work with Senior Account Managers, Head of Account Management and other Unifrog colleagues, to design and implement projects and processes across the Account Management team, that help deliver against our organisation’s objectives and mission.

• Work with a region of schools and colleges with the responsibility of an Account Manager, providing resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, and identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

• Work closely with your regional Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and maintain a sky high resubscription rate.

Key Responsibilities

Support and Equip Church Partners
 

• Work with the wider Church Partnerships Team to meet key strategic goals to build social transformation across the church in the UK
• Manage working relationships with a caseload of partner churches to ensure programme delivery flourishes, that the church has ongoing support and feels connected to Resurgo, and has a vision for and feels ownership of the Spear programme in their community

Line Management, Team Training and Development of Spear Centre staff

• Support with the recruitment and induction of new Spear coaches, and manage Spear Centre Managers through regular 1-1s and helping them troubleshoot challenges

Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.

The Head of High Value Fundraising is responsible for delivering and significantly growing income from Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy and Trusts and Grants. Leading a team of committed fundraisers, you will develop a robust strategy that delivers mutually beneficial partnerships, outstanding supporter relationships and long-term sustainable income.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES  

Specific Duties 

Leadership

• To lead and inspire the high value team fostering a collaborative and high culture that delivers against income and objectives
• Provide clear and supportive leadership that motivates staff to achieve, develop and grow in their roles
• Undertake quarterly reviews for all direct reports

High Value Fundraising

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-figure gifts)
• Build and maintain a portfolio of Trust & Grants supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Grants provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream
• Lead the development and stewardship of the Philanthropy board to identify and secure transformational (6-7 figure) gifts and the development of the Business development Board to open opportunities with Corporate Partners
• Write and design a compelling case for support that is tailored to our High Value audiences
• Build a portfolio of corporate partners, including securing high-value, multi-year partnerships. You will work with the team to grow this income stream from prospecting, approaches, applications, pitches, stewardship and providing excellent account management
• Lead on planning and delivering successful high value cultivation events

• Represent Winston’s Wish at fundraising events and meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Strategy, Planning and reporting

• To create and implement a strategy including corporate partnerships, trusts & foundations and major donors

• Produce regular reports on fundraising activity, analysing performance against targets, and identifying areas for improvement and growth.

Collaboration

We're embarking on a new strategy, fuelled by the National Lottery, which includes significantly expanding our volunteer operations which will be headed up with this new post.  We've already a team of over 30 brilliant volunteers.  Our services are central to what we do - so you'll be at the very heart of it all. Recruiting and supporting volunteers across the helpline, training and advocacy services, including supporting our amazing group leaders around the country. 

Essential Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience of volunteer management.  We’re particularly looking for experience with online recruitment and management of volunteers.
• Experience of establishing new volunteering and training systems, so you can help us scale up operations.
• An understanding of best practice and the regulations around volunteering.
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding practices and issues.  The postholder will be the safeguarding lead in this role.
• Experience of presenting to groups of people and facilitating discussion and initiatives and coaching individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We expect to recruit from our members and from the community of those who stammer or those who support people who stammer (speech & language therapists, family and friends).

• Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. 
• Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
• Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for volunteers and ensure processes comply with the charity’s values
• Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
• Support and recruit volunteer community leaders for our groups and networks; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders.  Longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.
• Keep records on which community groups are active and identify areas of need and feedback mechanisms.
• Work with Content & Communications Lead to produce regular mailings and volunteer recruitment campaigns.
• Keep up to date with legislation, best practice and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
• Maintain the database of volunteers and ensure all volunteers are registered members.
• Manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a hybrid role, and all staff are expected to attend team meetings, held in London, every 6-8 weeks.

About the role:

How Will You Make a Difference? 

Amna is seeking a compassionate and experienced Arabic speaking facilitator to join Amna’s team of trainers, with therapeutic/clinical background. As a Trainer & Facilitator your responsibilities will involve delivering training sessions and group facilitation to support and create learning spaces for training participants on themes centred around trauma and identity informed psychosocial healing care with displaced communities. The role holder is expected to work on multiple responses, and will lead Amna’s Gaza and Syria responses, while working closely with Arabic speaking team members.  

Amna’s identity and trauma informed approach is centred around community healing practices with communities that aim to restore participants sense of safety, belonging, agency and joy. Amna services are co-created with the communities being worked with and we prioritise refugee participation and leadership in service design and delivery wherever possible. 

The role holders need to have experience working with communities affected by adversity, including displacement, war and conflict, poverty, abuse or marginalisation. Given the nature of Amna’s work in emergency settings with displaced communities, applicants need to be comfortable working in environments where there is uncertainty, change and exposure to distress.  

Specifically, successful candidates will have a strong experience in following areas: 

1. Work with children and families in an emergency context; 

1. Therapeutic experience – Individual and Groups; 

1. Community work experience; 

1. Designing and delivering trainings across different context;

• Experience working in a therapeutically informed way, e.g. working with sensitivity to the needs and experiences of the communities worked with.   

• Comfortable working in English – spoken and written.  

• Comfortable in designing and delivering content in Arabic.

• Confident computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
