We do this by leveraging the skills and passion of researchers and STEM professionals to support young people from low socio-economic backgrounds to achieve their potential and progress to careers in STEM.
The In2STEM programme is a fantastic opportunity for 16-19 year olds to gain insights directly from STEM industry and research professionals. The programme provides over a thousand students each summer with a blend of online and in-person activities, equipping participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel in STEM.
What we are looking for
We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Programme Officer to join our growing In2STEM Programme team. The focus of this role will be to support delivery and ensure that our young people have an exceptional experience on the programme. You will also be kept engaged through deputising for the In2STEM Programme Manager one day per week.
You will have a good understanding of the challenges today’s young people from less privileged backgrounds may face and bring a proven track record of supporting vulnerable young people and/or adults with a range of support needs, including mental health needs, learning difficulties and disabilities. You will be good at building trust and rapport with young people and have practical experience of appropriately, calmly navigating situations involving safeguarding and signposting for young people and adults.

Duties and responsibilities
The purpose of the Senior Programme Officer role is to support the successful delivery of the In2STEM Programme and ensure our young people have an excellent experience.
Your specific duties will include:
Programme Delivery

Managing a caseload of students and volunteers from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, placement matching, onboarding, event planning and programme delivery (in-person and online), troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

Where appropriate, supporting the Programme Manager as the first port of call for programme staff with enquiries or needing advice relating to pastoral care for our beneficiaries.

Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with partners and funders to further the delivery of our work. This will include for example, working with schools, colleges, academic and professional services staff at universities.

Creating and developing engaging resources to support the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text and images.

Monitoring student and volunteer applications to ensure targets and milestones are met.

Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection.

Responsibilities
— The responsibilities of Global Human Relations Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

Qualifications

- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a field related to the work.
- Five years’ progressively responsible HR experience.
- International HR experience. GPHR or PHRi or equivalent, a plus.

The Fundraiser will play a key role in raising funds and awareness for the Friends of Bereaved Families Forum, a UK charity established to support the work of the Parents' Circle in Israel and Palestine.

The main purpose of this role is to grow, develop and deliver all aspects of the day-to-day relationship management of:
· Schools and colleges running the Career Ready programme
· Local employer supporters, corporate partners supporters, other key local stakeholders and networks
You will be responsible for a local patch which currently typically consists of 5-6 schools or colleges and a portfolio of employer partnerships. Regional Managers are also responsible for building and maintaining a local network of employer supporters and seeking opportunities for new employer support.
There will be opportunities to be creative, as well as being autonomous in how you run and develop the programme with the Career Ready schools and colleges in your area.

The Migraine Trust is the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research, and has been leading and bringing the migraine community together since 1965. One in seven people in the UK live with migraine. This complex and debilitating neurological disorder can significantly affect many aspects of life including work, school, personal relationships, and feelings of isolation.
Every year over two million people visit The Migraine Trust website for the most up to date information, and thousands contact the helplines for information and support on all aspects of migraine. The Migraine Trust campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, better access to treatment, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it.
The Information Manager will coordinate and develop a range of health information needed by the migraine community and people living with migraine to raise awareness to both members of the public and health care professionals. The role is also responsible for ensuring the information on the website is up to date and coordinating and managing Patient Information Forum renewals.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and maintain quality health information: You will manage and update health information, scope, plan, and create new content in consultation with stakeholders, and identify target groups to produce materials to meet their needs. You will work within the Information and Support team constantly communicating with colleagues working on front line services to ensure the information being produced is in line with service users needs. You will also be responsible for managing the organisations PIF processes and assessments.
- Engage with the migraine community: You will hold focus groups to understand information needs, build strategic partnerships to disseminate information effectively, and support staff learning and knowledge-building about migraine.
- Support communication and dissemination: You will work with the Communications team to create accessible information formats, provide content for videos, blogs, and other communication channels and regularly monitor and report on the impact of information provision.
- Research: You will act as the key point of communication for the research committee, manage administrative duties for research funding applications and grants, and coordinate research meetings and liaise with funded researchers for project updates.
- Represent and support the charity: You will represent The Migraine Trust at external events and build relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
The Information Manager will have solid experience of communicating complex health information to audiences in written and online formats, as well as proven experience of producing information from the research stage through to writing, external review and liaising with designers. The successful candidate will have the ability to gain an in-depth understanding of medical and health related information, including research and critical analysis skills to develop an evidence base. You will have experience working within a health communication environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail with demonstrable editing and proofreading skills. Qualifications

Join us as the Group Social Value Manager at LHCPG, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our social impact strategy. Working closely with various teams, you'll integrate social value principles into our products and services, fostering innovation and partnerships to drive positive change across Great Britain.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the integration of social value priorities into LHCPG's products and services.
- Establish LHCPG as a leading authority in social value, internally and externally.
- Build and nurture a network for innovation in social value approaches.
- Stay abreast of social value trends, best practices, and regulations.
- Align LHCPG's social value strategy with our mission, vision, and external influences.
- Support clients and suppliers to deliver their social impact priorities.
- Develop and implement social value measuring approaches and standards that enable social value data and information to be collected and recorded, across LHCPG’s operational activities.
- Support the delivery and impact reporting of the Community Benefit Fund.
- Provide guidance and training on social value principles and practices.
- Produce annual social value reports and coordinate impact case studies.
What You Need:
- Ideally, a relevant degree or professional qualification in CSR or social impact.
- Expertise in social value measurement frameworks used in the public sector.
- Understanding of technology's role in driving social innovation.
- Experience in managing complex projects and influencing outcomes with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and their application.
- Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with confidential information and meet strict deadlines.
- Positive, supportive attitude with a collaborative and flexible approach.
- Previous experience in a social value role or not-for-profit organisation is desirable.
