What You’ll Do

• Develop and Manage: Create customer engagement and retention plans across our customer our segments, working across a portfolio of products such as cash appeals, regular giving, events, and mission-related tools like RevivR (our online CPR training tool).
• Deliver Campaigns: Execute marketing communications, customer journeys, and multi-channel campaigns to meet income and mission targets, on time, within budget, and to agreed KPIs. Upsell, retain, and deepen engagement with existing customers.
• Customer-Centric: Ensure customers feel central to our work and achievements, motivating them to continue supporting our research long-term.

About You:

You’ll have solid experience in direct or integrated marketing roles across several channels, with expertise in analysing data to drive decision-making and optimising performance and engagement (especially direct mail, telemarketing, and email). You will have demonstrable experience managing customer retention marketing or loyalty campaigns in a fast-paced direct marketing team.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience leading campaign delivery across multiple channels, generating growth and engagement.
• Outstanding planning and project management skills, with a track record of managing projects/campaigns on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical skills, be highly numerate and have experience working with expenditure budgets, including monitoring and reporting on income and expenses.
• Ability to identify opportunities, drive impact, and exceed KPIs.
• Strong interpersonal and confident negotiation skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with customers, external suppliers, and internal departments.
• Experience managing multiple external agency relationships.
• Experience with databases and CRM systems (Experience of Adobe and/or other marketing automation systems is desirable).

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

Scope of role

The Debt Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive, video debt advice to prisoners across thirteen (13) HMPPS sites, tailored to their specific circumstances. This role involves conducting detailed interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The advisor ensures income maximisation and provides ongoing casework support, acting on behalf of clients where necessary. Maintaining up-to-date case records and staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures are crucial aspects of the role. The Debt Advisor is also expected to complete continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s overall objectives by meeting targets, prioritising workloads, and demonstrating financial efficiency. The may also be required to attend meetings on-site at various prisons and host workshops for prisoners.

Accurate, effective and individually tailored advice

• Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
• Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions.
• Providing in-depth quality advice and on-gong casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.

Detailed case records

• Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder.
• Ensuring all case records and written up in a timely manner.

Up-to-date training

• Completing a minimum of 16 hours/ equivalent of technical debt advice DPD accredited training or qualifying activity.
• Maintaining an up-to-date record of all training sessions.

Teamwork

The postholder will drive new business activity and cultivation, including process and momentum across the team and will drive significant income with a particular focus on seven figure opportunities.  Working with relevant teams and stakeholders to create new partnership propositions, you will be able to spot opportunities with partners in the sector and beyond to identify new, unrepresented areas of income.

This role requires an ability to hold a senior position within a fast-paced and dynamic team of twelve, and the selected candidate will have extensive corporate partnerships experience with demonstrable success of generating six and seven figure partnerships. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the corporate fundraising landscape and will have evidence of an entrepreneurial approach to forming new corporate partnership propositions.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH) are hiring for two Senior Fundraising Executives to join our direct dialogue team. One is a brand-new position and the other has come up following an internal move.

Our dialogue team work with a range of different agencies to deliver our face to face fundraising campaigns. These campaigns help fundraise to change children’s lives every single day. 

These roles are known internally as Senior Individual Giving Executive – Direct Dialogue.

Salary

The salary for this position is £36,654 per annum and we operate a hybrid working model of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.

Key Responsibilities

This is a varied role encompassing:

• Campaign management for rolling fundraising activities. 
• Defining campaign briefs and working closely with the Senior Management to deliver campaigns across door to door, private site, and street 
• Managing relationships with third party agencies. 
• Utilising data analytics to create reports and insights across all dialogue activity. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous project management experience, ideally within fundraising.

Exrerience working within the charity sector is beneficial for this role, but not essential.

The Casework Team deliver help services which include advice, information and support for people working across horticulture. The team provide generalist advice across areas such as social care, health, benefits, housing and employment, often having an area of speciality.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience undertaking comprehensive holistic assessments across outcome areas of health, wellbeing, self-care, housing, money, family, relationships, safety and crime
• Experience of measuring the impact of interventions delivered
• Experience of delivering advice to people, across areas of employment, money confidence, housing, social care, benefits and health systems
• Experience in delivering a telephone helpline or advice service in the community or on occasion in service users homes
• Experience of scrutinising complex information to produce concise reports, comprehensive case records and high-quality casework and associated correspondence
• Highly developed communication skills including, discretion and capacity to deal efficiently, and effectively with people experiencing traumatic or difficult circumstances and/or from different cultural backgrounds
• Experience of using interpersonal skills, including active listening and questioning skills to understand the needs of others, causal issues to inform case management plans
• Ability to interact and network with line managers, colleagues, volunteers, partner organisations, external agencies and service users
• Ability to work flexibly across geographical regions as required
