Job Description

As the Registered Manager of our new 5-bed home, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape it from the very beginning. Opening in Autumn 2026, the home will provide a safe, nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them thrive.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced working in a children's residential setting as a Registered Manager, or as a Deputy Manager looking to progress into a Registered Manager role.
• A resilient, hands-on leader with a clear vision for delivering exceptional, relationship-centred care and creating an inclusive, ambitious culture.
• Strong decision-making and risk management skills, with the ability to navigate residential care confidently and drive high-quality performance.
• A passionate advocate for children, experienced in supporting diverse social, emotional, and behavioural needs, and committed to building empowering relationships.
• Knowledgeable in Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children’s residential care standards.
• Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and either have, or be working towards/committed to achieving the Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification (or equivalent)

Waking Night Support Worker

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Waking Night Support Worker to join our Homelessness Social Care Service in Kensington & Chelsea.

£23,088.00 per annum, working 30 hours per week. 3 nights on and 4 nights off

Head of Governance & Company Secretary (Part-Time)

Are you an experienced governance professional with a strong charity background? We're working with a respected UK charity to recruit an experienced Head of Governance & Company Secretary to provide strategic governance leadership and ensure the organisation continues to meet the highest standards of compliance and best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation on a flexible, part-time basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll lead the organisation's governance function, providing expert advice to Trustees, the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. You'll ensure effective board operations, maintain compliance with charity and company law, and support the ongoing development of governance frameworks and risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as Company Secretary and advising on governance best practice.

• Supporting Trustee meetings, including agenda planning, board papers and minute taking.

• Ensuring compliance with the Charity Commission, Companies House and relevant UK charity regulations.

• Maintaining statutory records and governance policies.

• Managing and developing the organisation's governance framework and risk register.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Proven Company Secretary and governance experience within the charity sector.

• Strong knowledge of Charity Commission requirements, charity law and governance frameworks.

• Experience supporting Boards of Trustees and senior leadership teams.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.

• Experience of risk management and governance policy development.

We're looking for a curious, analytical and proactive Prospect Research Executive to join our Prospect Development team. In this role, you'll help power our fundraising by delivering high-quality prospect research, due diligence and supporter insight that enables our teams to build meaningful relationships with individuals, trusts, foundations and corporate partners.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to identify new opportunities, uncover valuable connections and provide the intelligence needed to support successful fundraising strategies. From producing prospect profiles and briefing documents to conducting due diligence and maintaining prospect pipelines, you'll play a key role in helping us grow support for young people across the UK.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys finding connections and turning information into actionable insight. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment and be motivated by using your skills to help create life-changing opportunities for young people.

Lead the launch of the UK's first Refugee Employment Marketplace and help transform how displaced people connect with jobs, employers and employment support.​ This is a remote, home-based role for candidates currently based in Wales. 

The Refugee Employment Network (REN) is the UK's national network dedicated exclusively to refugee employment. We bring together employers, charities, local authorities, government and refugee-led organisations to improve employment outcomes and create a more inclusive labour market.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Lead to lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace and wider digital systems across the Refugee Employment Network.

The Refugee Employment Marketplace is a digital platform connecting displaced people in the UK with jobs, employers and employment support.

Working closely with developers, partners and users, you will help ensure the Marketplace is successfully implemented, accessible, adopted and scaled across Wales and the wider REN network. We're looking for someone who enjoys turning ideas into practical solutions, building partnerships and using digital to create social impact.

Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Product Development & Delivery

· Lead the implementation, customisation and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace to meet REN’s organisational goals and user needs.

· Work with external platform providers and developers to coordinate product delivery, customisation, timelines and ongoing improvements.

· Build and maintain project plans, documentation and delivery processes to support successful implementation and rollout.

· Coordinate platform testing, user feedback and troubleshooting to improve functionality, accessibility and user experience.

· Support the integration of REN’s wider digital systems, including website and CRM.

2. Co-design & Partnerships

· Convene and coordinate REN’s Digital Advisory Group to inform the design and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace.

· Facilitate focus groups, user testing and feedback sessions with refugees, employers, charities, local authorities and employment advisers to improve platform design, accessibility and user experience.

· Ensure experts by experience are meaningfully involved in shaping and testing the platform.

3. Platform Rollout, Training & User Support

· Lead the rollout and adoption of the Refugee Employment Marketplace across Wales and the wider REN network.

· Develop onboarding processes, training and guidance materials  to support effective use of the platform.

· Act as the first point of contact for user support, including account setup, login support, troubleshooting and user journey guidance.

4. CRM, Website & Digital Infrastructure Management

· Lead the scoping, procurement and implementation of a new CRM system

· Oversee the integration and continuous improvement of REN’s website and wider digital systems to ensure they are integrated and accessible. 

5. Data, Reporting & Digital Compliance

· Lead on data protection, GDPR compliance and digital security across REN’s digital platforms and systems.

· Maintain accurate, secure and effective data management practices, including user records, permissions and data quality.

6. Marketplace Growth, Sustainability & Impact

· Build relationships with employers, industry bodies and strategic partners to grow platform adoption, secure opportunities and strengthen the value proposition of the Marketplace.

· Support the matching of displaced talent to jobs, opportunities and employment support, including manual interventions where needed to improve outcomes and user experience.

· Track and report on employment outcomes, employer engagement and platform impact to inform growth, improvement and sustainability.

About the role

This is a core role within the organisation's influencing strategy, and your primary responsibilities will include:

External Affairs & Influencing:

• Develop and deliver influencing plans to promote adoption of effective mental health care initiatives being funded by the charity
• Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders (journalists, NHS trust leaders, ICBs, ICSs, VCSE orgs) to gather intelligence and shape strategy to inform the charity's positioning
• Lead the charity's thought leadership development providing strategic advice to senior leadership on political, NHS and mental health policy developments
• Strengthen the charity's role in mental health policy and advocacy coalitions, by contributing to collaborative advocacy, media and communications outputs
• Lead the charity's response to government mental health care consultations and calls for evidence
• Monitor funder sector trends and conversations, and actively seek out opportunities for the charity to strategically engage and influence by sharing learning from its grant making practice

Media management

• Develop and implement integrated external affairs campaigns that support the charity's influencing work
• Create persuasive materials, including press releases, op-eds, spokespeople briefings, comment pieces, and digital content and pitch to relevant outlets
• Maintain and grow relationships with journalists, broadcasters and sector media to secure relevant high-quality coverage of the charity's activities, grant holders and their projects
• Act as first point of contact for media enquiries, managing proactive and reactive press activity
• This role is expected to grow and develop and the postholder will be fully supported from across the organisation as the position evolves, within an organisation that offers a friendly, values led culture.

We would love to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrable track record of developing and implementing successful influencing strategies in the mental health sector
• Experience of stakeholder management within mental health care, including NHS Trust leaders, Integrated Care Boards, commissioners and senior clinicians, and with academics and researchers
• Strong experience in media relations, including briefing senior spokespeople, drafting press releases, media handling, and securing media coverage with a good understanding of the needs and expectations of different outlets and publications
• Keen understanding of the NHS, mental health policy landscape, and the related environment, key stakeholders and sector drivers
• Understanding of the key components and considerations of successful external affairs media and influencing
• Understanding of the sensitivities around mental illness, including working in an empathetic manner with people with lived experience
