The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Audit Data Analyst to join our Research and Quality Improvement Directorate, which promotes evidence-based practice and improves health outcomes for children. This is an exciting opportunity to work on national audit programmes that shape paediatric care across the UK.

Reporting to the Project Manager (Audits), you will manage complex healthcare datasets, lead on data analysis using R/R Studio, and produce high-quality outputs for clinicians, commissioners, and policy makers. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, reproducible analytical pipelines and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the audit lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing secure handling and analysis of complex audit datasets, ensuring compliance with data governance and protection requirements.

Purpose of the role

The Legal Director provides strategic leadership on immigration, economic migration, asylum and nationality for ILPA, with a primary focus on legal policy, legislative analysis, member engagement and public influence.

The role is responsible for shaping ILPA’s legal positions, overseeing the quality and coherence of legal analysis across the organisation, and maintaining ILPA’s standing as the leading professional membership body in immigration and asylum law.

Key responsibilities

1. Legal strategy and leadership

In collaboration with the Trustees and Chief Executive, the Legal Director will:

a. Develop and maintain ILPA’s short-, medium- and long-term legal strategy in line with ILPA’s charitable objectives.

b. Identify emerging legal, policy and practice issues affecting immigration, asylum and nationality law.

c. Engage with ILPA members to understand frontline impacts and systemic concerns.

d. Advise the Trustees and Chief Executive on legal policy priorities, organisational positioning and risk.

Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. This role supports the special projects work with the CEO and will work with the senior team to lead on the income and visibility opportunities that unlock our delivery for our three-year strategy.

Your Role’s Purpose

Year 1 of this role will be focused on business model development, income generation and strategic partnerships. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team, you will help shape, test and secure new funding and commercial opportunities that position Young Citizens for long-term sustainability and impact. The special projects element includes supporting the developmental design of our future business model, charity strategy and public affairs work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, creating and working at pace to achieve great results within a small team. You will be rapidly developing propositions, forging partnerships and converting ideas into credible, funded initiatives. You will play a central role in strengthening our relationships with funders, institutions, corporates and sector partners, while supporting wider organisational development projects.

Young Citizens works at the intersection of education, democracy and civic life, and this role offers a unique opportunity to influence how active citizenship is funded, delivered and embedded across the UK.

In Year 1, your primary focus will be to:

• Develop and drive income/fundraising with existing channels, including grant funding, partnerships and commercial activity.

We are seeking a persuasive writer and relationship builder, with a strong track record of income generation from trusts and foundations, and experience of statutory bidding. We are a small, values-driven charity providing peer support services to bereaved adults. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee the charity’s general operations and ensure the effective, compliant delivery of our services.

This is an operational role, working closely with the Global Lead, Volunteer Coordinator, and volunteers with responsibility across operations, finance, safeguarding, governance, and service delivery.

Role Purpose:
The Operations Manager will lead day-to-day operational management, ensuring that systems, processes, and controls are effective, compliant, and aligned with the charity’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

· Develop, implement, and regularly review operational processes in line with organisational policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements

· Map, evaluate, and improve operational workflows, creating standard operating procedures to support consistency and scalability

· Oversee service delivery reporting, including outcome monitoring and preparation of reports for Board meetings

· Manage shared drive structures, ensuring appropriate access controls and effective archiving

· Contribute to annual strategic objectives in collaboration with the Global Lead and support delivery of Board-approved plans

Financial Management

· Oversee day-to-day financial management of the charity

· Collate financial reports from platforms including NatWest, PayPal, Stripe, JustGiving, and Meta

· Prepare regular financial reports for the Treasurer and escalate any financial risks or concerns

Grants and Foundations

· Identify, secure, and manage grants aligned with the charity’s mission and services

· Ensure compliance with funder requirements, including reporting and evaluation

· Provide regular project updates and post-project reports to funders and the Board of Trustees

Fundraising and Partnerships

· Support income diversification and fundraising activity

· Provide operational support to the Fundraising team

· Assist in the development of fundraising materials and campaigns in collaboration with the Volunteer Coordinator

· Monitor fundraising accounts and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of donations

· Ensure key fundraising information is shared across relevant communications channels

Safeguarding and Data Protection

· Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and primary point of contact for safeguarding matters

· Assess and report safeguarding concerns to statutory bodies and the Trustee Board as required

· Signpost individuals involved in incidents to appropriate support services

· Advise the Board of Trustees on safeguarding policies, procedures, and training requirements

· Oversee data recording, storage, and breach management in compliance with GDPR

· Liaise with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) on mandatory reporting

· Maintain and update privacy policies and ensure ongoing GDPR compliance

Service Delivery

· Oversee peer support services, including facilitator training and meeting scheduling

· Support recruitment of meeting facilitators and volunteers

Policy Development

· Draft, review, and update policy documentation in partnership with Trustees where appropriate

Reporting and Contract Management

· Report directly to the Global Lead, who is delegated by the Trust Board to manage priorities, performance, and contractual arrangements for this role

MAIN DUTIES:

1. To provide an independent and comprehensive casework, advisory and advocacy service to private and NHS-referred clients (typically health and social care service users or their representatives) in England and Wales throughout the entire NHS Continuing Healthcare assessment, appeal and care planning process from initial assessment stage through to complaints to the Ombudsman.
2. To provide specialist information and advice to our clients tailored to their specific situation and needs regarding the interpretation of a primary health need from a thorough understanding of relevant criteria, assessment frameworks and legal tests which are based upon case-law. 
3. Provide advocacy and active case support remotely and in person to clients in England and Wales, and their representatives throughout the appeal and complaint processes, and occassionally assessments. This will include periodic travel to assessments and appeal meetings across England and Wales (including overnight stays where necessary), as well as attending virtual meetings via videoconference.Please note: most meetings are now completed virtually via videoconference, however a small number of in-person meetings are still taking place. Applicants will need to be comfortable working from home for long periods as well as with periodic long-distance travel.
4. To keep informed of issues, policies, guidance and legislation affecting clients ensuring that the information provided is relevant, current, complete and accurate.
5. To analytically examine all relevant health and social care records and assessments, and to prepare detailed advisory letters and appeal statements based upon a sound understanding of the facts, and referencing evidence compiled from such records.
6. To assist clients in the preparation of submissions which will be presented on their behalf to relevant Integrated Care Boards and NHS England review and/or appeal panels.
7. To respond to new referrals by making prompt initial contact with the client within the timescales specified by company policies. To keep clients informed of progress at regular intervals.
8. Work closely and efficiently with health professionals from relevant Continuing Healthcare (CHC) teams with the aim of resolving client issues at the earliest possible opportunity so as to provide an efficient and cost-effective service, and to minimise stress for the client.

The nature of the role demands complete confidentiality and flexibility with regard to the needs of the business and its clients. Some evening and weekend work will be expected. Hackney Complex Needs Assessment Centre is a 17-bed Assessment Service supporting adult single people who are homeless or sleeping rough, many of whom have complex needs related to substance use, mental health, and physical health. Our service provides short-term, person‑centred support that identifies each individual’s holistic needs — including health, housing, reconnection to their home area, and immigration status — within an eight‑week period.

Charity People is delighted to be partnering with Brain Research UK to recruit a part time Communications and Digital Manager.

Contract: Permanent, part time role working four days per week, with flexibility to split hours over four or five days
Salary: £40,000 full time equivalent (£32,000 per annum for four days per week)
Location: Hybrid role between home and London office, with ideally two days per week (Monday and Wednesday) in the office at Holborn

Since 1971 the charity has invested over £58 million in pioneering research to improve understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological conditions, enabling people affected to live better, longer lives. With a focused commitment on three critical and underfunded areas - brain tumours, brain and spinal cord injury, and headache and facial pain - the organisation plays a vital role in addressing some of the greatest unmet needs in neuroscience today.

You'll work within a small, dedicated and talented team and will play a central role in shaping how Brain Research UK tells its story; leading the development of high-quality, impact led content that brings research and lived experience together to build support loyalty and increase public engagement and understanding.

The role has real scope for impact and innovation and will work closely with colleagues from across the charity, including the CEO, to build on strong foundations. Core responsibilities within the role will include:

• Lead all digital communications, including website, social media and online campaigns
• Manage and create content for the website, overseeing written, visual and video
• Develop and deliver a planned schedule of communications activity across all channels.
• Develop and maintain a compelling library of supporter stories (written, film and imagery), ensuring appropriate permissions and coverage across key research areas
• Work with colleagues to source, craft and share stories that demonstrate impact and inspire support
• Collaborate with colleagues to translate funded research into clear, engaging stories that show how science changes lives
• Work closely with the fundraising team to optimise digital communications
• Engage with and respond to the organisation's online community in a timely, supportive and professional manner
• Ensure consistent use of brand, tone and values in line with brand guidelines
• Track and analyse digital performance using tools such as Google Analytics and income reports, using insight to continuously improve effectiveness
• Report on how communications activity drives engagement, enquiries, donations and pledges
• Manage relationships with third-party agencies where required, including briefing, objectives and evaluation
• Coordinate corporate communications such as the annual review and impact report

We would love to see applications from candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience within a communications role within a charity or similar organisation
• Demonstrable experience of leading on storytelling, narrative development or content creation that has driven engagement or fundraising outcomes, with the ability to identify the emotional heart of a story and shape it appropriately for different audiences and channels
• Experience planning and delivering social media content using a structured schedule
• Experience developing e-communications to build loyalty and engagement
• Experience managing website content
• Understanding of online community management and supporter engagement
• Confidence using analytics tools to measure and report on digital performance
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with diverse audiences
• Emotional intelligence and sensitivity when engaging with people affected by medical conditions
• Understanding of how to use video and film across digital channels
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook) and e-marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp, DotDigital)
