We are incredibly delighted to be working with Ark in their search for an excellent Trust Fundraising Officer. As an education charity, Ark seeks to ensure that all children have access to a great education and real choices in life.
This role will play a critical part in the success of the small but driven fundraising department at Ark and will contribute towards their target of raising £3 million per year. The postholder will work to support the fundraising efforts of Ark’s 39 schools, managing a portfolio of small to medium trust applications up to £10k, developing inspiring cases, and working to achieve agreed income targets. This role will also involve prospect research, with the postholder identifying and segmenting potential donors. You will also manage relationships with various internal departments and the schools’ network to gain support for funding proposals and reports.
To be successful in the role of Trust Fundraising Officer, you will need:

We are looking for a Senior Learning and Research Analyst to join our International Programmes and Research Team. Supported by our Learning and Impact Manager and working alongside our Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst and team of researchers, you will be responsible for consolidating and managing a central database and knowledge system that will underpin Peace Direct’s learning loop with specific emphasis on locally-led peacebuilding initiatives in Afghanistan, eastern DRC, Mali and Sudan.
This work is integral to our decolonised ways of working and will form an important part of our multi-year ‘Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System’ programme funded by the Dutch MfA.
This is a role for someone with a passion for peacebuilding and local leadership and a strong commitment to shifting power in the international system. You will have excellent analytical skills with experience of developing research, information or MEL systems in the international development sector.
Working in partnership with peacebuilders in francophone countries means the ability to work in French (proficiency level B2 or above) is a must and as such will be tested in interview. Added to this is the requirement for experience of processing qualitative and quantitative data using various approaches, including working with local knowledge systems, which will be highly valuable in this role.

XLP is a vibrant youth work charity dedicated to shaping bright futures for young people. Leading the charge against poverty and educational failure in inner London, we offer holistic, long-term support to 11 to 25 year olds in both schools and communities.
Over the past eight years XLP has run a nationally recognised mentoring programme which runs in nine London boroughs. About us
Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage.
Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence. VAWG crimes, which include domestic abuse, rape, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment, accounted for 20% of total police recorded crime in England and Wales between 2022 and 2023. About the role
We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. The Financial Controller is to lead on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
Although the organisation is well established, this is a growing sector, and the organisation has gone through rapid change over the past few years and is therefore offering the right candidate a great opportunity to deliver change and make a real difference to WGN’s staff and clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and development of the Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer.
- Preparing the year-end statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial controls are implemented and adhered to within the organisation, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting non-finance colleagues and stakeholders in understanding all requirements related to the funding agreements.
- Leading the month-end process with the support of the Finance Business Partner and the Senior Finance Officer.
- Leading on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
- Ensuring that all restricted funds are used in accordance with the funding agreements.
- Responsible for treasury and investment management across the organisation.
- Ensuring all payroll payments are made on time.
- Leading the procurement function across the organisation.
About you
If you are someone who has strong financial reporting, budget setting, and year end processing skills, with a keen eye on details and drive to facilitate change and enhance the finance function this role would be for you.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in working with the charity sector in a similar role for at least two years.
- Work well with non-finance colleagues and trustees in delivering key financial reports in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Be a qualified accountant.
- Be comfortable working in a hands-on environment

The Senior Philanthropy Manager role leads the Philanthropy function at Centrepoint, driving the team forward as they embark on the cultivation of a strong new prospect pipeline. As part of the role, you will be responsible for a team bringing in income of over £1.3m per year, with a view to double income over the next 3 years. Working closely with the Head of Relationship Fundraising, you will lead the development of team plans, ensuring that Centrepoint diversifies its high value donor portfolio, and delivers sustainable unrestricted and restricted income. This is a great opportunity to lead a high performing team, and proactively manage relationships with senior stakeholders, internally and externally.
To be successful in the role of Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience of working with high value donors as a leading professional in the area of philanthropy.
- Demonstrable experience of securing major donor gifts at £100k+, with excellent writing skills to support the delivery of proposals.
- Proven experience of developing effective donor relationships and provision of excellent stewardship, with knowledge of the changing philanthropic landscape.

Prospectus is working with the Salvation Army to recruit an Assistant Head of Philanthropy – Major Donors. The Salvation Army work across the UK and support various communities and people who require personalised, individualised help. Philanthropy is an area of growth for the team and this is a really exciting opportunity to join.
The Assistant head of Philanthropy – Major Donors will play a critical role in leading the major donor programme, inspiring individuals to make transformational donations and the postholder will also manage an excellent, ambitious philanthropy team. Inheriting a pipeline income of circa £2m you will develop and implement a strategy to substantially grow major donor fundraising over the next five years and will personally manage a portfolio of donors making multi-year, six figure asks.
The selected candidate will have extensive successful major donor fundraising experience and a demonstrable track record of personally securing six figure gifts. You will enjoy building productive relationships with potential and existing donors and encouraging and coaching your team to do the same. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the postholder should have excellent communication and organisational skills too.
