Summary Purpose - what you will be achieving.
This role will lead the smooth delivery of London Youth’s flagship Quality Mark programme. This programme has three tiers.:
- Bronze Quality Mark – focusses on the policies and procedures that youth organisations are required to have in place to ensure they operate legally and provide a safe environment for service users.
- Silver Quality Mark – focusses on the quality of an organisations provision for young people as well as the level of commitment to ensuring staff and volunteers are trained to a high standard and deliver excellent youth work.
- Gold Quality Mark – focusses on the organisation's positive impact on young people as well as its commitment to continual improvement.
Our quality mark programmes play a key role in supporting the development of our valued members. This important work will benefit youth organisations for years to come, not only with improving their youth offer, policies and procedures and quality of their workforce; but it also supports organisations with securing funding as our quality marks are recognised by many London funders.
About the role – what you will be doing
You will be responsible for leading the team who deliver our bronze, silver and gold quality marks. This will involve line managing a Delivery Officer as well as supporting other members of the Membership Team to deliver this programme. You will be responsible for planning and chairing monthly quality mark meetings as well as creating clear systems and processes that will enable the team to deliver effective and standardised support to members during their quality mark journey.
You will be responsible for the quality mark data on our CRM (Salesforce) and will ensure this is up to date. You will utilise this data to monitor the progress of the delivery of each level quality mark and for reporting purposes internally and externally.
You will use evaluation and feedback data to ensure the Quality Mark remains relevant and that we continue to improve this part of our core offer.
You will be responsible for creating resources for our Quality Mark Resource Library as well as ensuring all quality mark related web pages up to date on our website.
Your role is focussed on the delivery of all three Quality Mark levels; you’ll induct members onto the programmes, support a percentage of them through the programme via online check in meetings and emails, and you will utilise your knowledge and experience of youth work practice to assess youth organisations quality mark evidence folders (you will receive specific assessors training).
You will have overall responsibly for all communications sent to members regarding the quality mark programme and will ensure our members receive excellent customer service.
You will work closely with our training lead to ensure we are offering training that supports our members to achieve a quality mark.
You will lead on the ‘young observers’ element of the silver and gold quality marks. The young observers are young people from our youth board that visit organisations undertaking a silver or gold quality mark and provide feedback on their experience.
About you – what you bring to the role.
You have considerable experience of designing and delivering successful youth work programmes and/or have a qualification in youth work (minimum level 3).
You will have experience of delivering face-to-face youth work. You are aware of the many issues young people may face and have the skills and knowledge needed to support them. (For clarity, this is not a frontline youth work role, however knowledge and experience in delivering youth work is essential).
You are an excellent communicator and are comfortable presenting to large groups of people and individuals.
You have significant experience of project management and are a proficient problem solver.
You have experience of line managing staff and/or volunteers.
You have a good understanding of what resources and support youth workers require in order to be the best they can be.
You have an excellent understanding of the youth sector – both the challenges it faces and the positive impact it has on young people.
This is a hybrid role (minimum two days in the office per week). Applicants must live in London.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Management
- Lead and be responsible for the delivery of The Elephant Group’s programmes across all partnerships including large scale events. This will include personally delivering content to young people, presentations to stakeholders and acting as a facilitator.
- Manage relationships with external partners, ensuring high-quality programme delivery and compliance with contractual obligations, including reporting.
- Lead monitoring and evaluation processes, working to assess programme impact and refine delivery.
- Manage programme budgets, ensuring financial accountability and providing regular updates to the CEO.
Programme Development and Innovation
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance programme quality, reach, and impact.
- Use all forms of information provision to continually improve programmes and measure programme efficacy.
- Develop clear project plans for all programmes ensuring smooth delivery.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and support funding bids in collaboration with the Head of Operations and Development.
Team Leadership and Organisational Contribution
- Line manage programme staff, providing support, development opportunities, and guidance to ensure effective delivery.
- Contribute to organisational leadership, working closely with senior colleagues to align programme delivery with broader strategic goals.
- Represent The Elephant Group at external events and speaking engagements, as well as supporting fundraising and partner activities as required.

About the Opportunity
RI is currently entering its proposal season and requires short term support to help review and draft MEAL sections for proposals being developed. Additionally, the consultant is expected support other day to day requirements of regional and country office teams on MEAL, specified in the responsibilities below. The consultant will work closely with the Regional Program Directors of Africa, Asia and Middle East Regions.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the review and development of MEAL sections of proposals within a short turnaround period, including logframes and monitoring and evaluation plans.
- Develop standard MEAL sections that can be easily customized for various donors.
- Review proposed indicators in logframes against the donor requirements, project logframe and RI sector standard indicator list.
- Facilitate the estimation of targets in discussions with project and proposal development teams and other budgeting requirements for MEAL as per donor guidelines.
- Review other regular reports, needs assessments, evaluations and other documents that are developed by country offices during this period, in alignment with donor requirements to ensure delivery of quality products.
- Other requirements and priorities related to MEAL as required by the global MEAL director or the RPDs.
- Provide regular feedback on review results with the Global MEAL Director and the Regional Program Directors for the respective regions, with any recommendations for overall improvement.

You will bring the following experience and skills.
- Significant progressive experience in MEAL in the development/humanitarian sector
- Extensive experience in proposal development, and specifically in providing MEAL requirements, with an in-depth understanding of major donor requirements and indicators.

The Executive Officer of the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH) is an important and senior role in which you will provide strategic, financial and operational leadership to the Association and its six affiliate groups.
Acting as the link between the BACCH, affiliate groups and the RCPCH, the Executive Officer will manage the BACCH and affiliate group office and contribute to organisational strategy, taking responsibility for delivering strategic objectives across all the business functions of the BACCH and the affiliates.
Reporting to the Chairs of the BACCH and one of the affiliate groups, the British Academy of Childhood Disability (BACD), you will have oversight of all staff and develop and maintain relationships with key affiliate stakeholders to promote the Association’s activities and policies, to enhance the BACCH and the affiliates’ profiles.
You will organise the annual national conferences and oversee the BACCH regional events, whilst ensuring the BACCH and affiliate group websites are maintained and their content is up-to-date and relevant. In addition, you will help coordinate policy and consultation responses, fielding media enquiries as required.
Coordinating communication between the affiliate groups and members to ensure a consistent approach throughout the organisations, you will support the BACCH and BACD newsletter editorial committees to produce monthly email bulletins for members.
Suitably qualified with previous management experience and with a strong understanding of good office practice, you will have a background of working with a Board to ensure good governance and have evidence of translating the development of strategies into the delivery of operational plans.
With proven experience of successfully managing a large workload and overseeing various streams of work, you will have the ability to work flexibly and manage the fluctuating nature of the role through the year.
A dynamic self-starter with a clear ability to take ideas from inception through to completion, you will be able to demonstrate how thinking ahead, managing time, priorities and risk, and developing structured and efficient approaches will be able to deliver work on time and to a high standard.

The BACCH is the organisation for paediatricians and other professions working in community child health. BACCH is a membership organisation that represents doctors and other professionals working in paediatrics and child health in the community. It is a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
The RCPCH sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.

As this Individual Giving & Insights Manager, you will:
- Lead the Individual Giving programme worth £1.2m per year, working alongside their Individual Giving Officer to drive fundraising success.
- Develop and launch a new Membership product, designed to attract and retain connected supporters.
- Grow the Legacies programme in partnership with the Legacy Officer, enhancing supporter engagement.
- Craft supporter journeys that build deeper relationships, increase engagement, and boost income.
- Use data driven insights to refine targeting, optimise campaigns, and steer the success of their initiatives.
- Implement Innovation and test new approaches, particularly in cost effective digital channels, to secure sustainable growth for their cause.
What Makes You the Ideal Candidate?
- Strong experience in planning and executing direct marketing campaigns for supporter acquisition and retention.
- Skill in developing strategic, data driven supporter journeys using digital and email platforms.
- Proficiency in collaborating with both internal and external partners, including marketing agencies, to deliver effective campaigns.
- Experience in budget management and campaign evaluation, utilising key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of current data legislation, especially GDPR, ensuring our approach respects privacy and ethical standards.

An exciting new position has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join the team at International Seafarers Welfare and Assistance Network, a membership charity dedicated to supporting seafarers and the maritime industry. We are looking for candidate/s with suitable accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, experience of using accounting software and CRM systems such as Quickbooks, Xero, Salesforce, or GlueUp. This role requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Key responsibilities and responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers
- Respond to supplier and client’s queries
- Process supplier and sales invoices, staff claims and expenses
- Set up bank payments
- Bank reconciliation and journals
- Reconciliation of membership income with accounting software and CRM database
- Basic administrative tasks, such as keeping sickness and absence records, minute taking and filing.
The role can be full time (35 hours p/w) or shared (2 x 17.5 hours p/w). We are a fully remote working organisation with an optional one day a month in London SE1 or other central location.
£26,000-£29,000 per year (pro- rated for part time), plus home working allowance and life assurance.
