You will have a passion for Trust fundraising and bring a proactive approach to your work to support income generation. You will be flexible and agile in your working style and able to support all income streams and new lines of business. You will have experience working in a Trust Fundraising role and proven track record of raising/growing income at four and five level gifts. You will be ambitious and enthusiastic, with experience of prospect research techniques and managing a Trusts and Foundations pipeline. You will also be an excellent communicator, with experience writing engaging fundraising proposals and reports to Trusts and Foundations.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced social worker to join our Central Support & Social Care Team in the role of Senior Practitioner.

The Central Support & Social Care Team is a home-based team providing phone and digital support to children and young people with cancer across the UK. The team works alongside our social work teams in hospitals to deliver tailored support. 

This role will manage the strand of the team's work that delivers support to those assessed to have lower-level needs. This is carried out through regular phone-based contact, and provision of an inbound service providing advice and support to young people with cancer, their families and those in their networks. 

This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to grow and maximise the potential of volunteers within the team.

This role is subject to a criminal record check. In the event of a successful application an enhanced criminal record check will be completed. This role is also subject to a Social Worker Registration. 

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy.

The role involves: 

• Practice management of our care navigators (unqualified workers) and volunteers who deliver services in line with the organisation's service specifications
• Responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the strand of our service for those assessed to have lower-level needs. This includes  scheduling planned outbound calls ensuring they meet the contact needs and preferences of young people and families, and accepting new referrals from our social care teams across the UK
• Oversight of incoming enquiries, through webchat, phone and email
• Providing reflective practice and development opportunities to our care navigators 
• Fostering and maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation, and professionals & medical staff across the UK
• Working with our volunteer lead to grow and maximise the potential of volunteers in the team

What do I need? 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

• A recognised professional social work qualification 
• A minimum 3 years experience of working with children and young people in a social work setting, including assessment and care planning 
• Experience of managing safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults - legislation, procedures and best practice
• Experience of supervising staff, students or volunteers in a social care setting
• Ability to work virtually using video conferencing to build effective relationships with stakeholders 
• Understanding of oppression and the barriers that marginalised people face, and strong commitment to deliver anti-oppressive practice

About the role

We are looking for an individual with substantial experience of working in government or statutory funding to be responsible for developing institutional donor relationships, both directly and in support of other members of the Institutional Funding team. THET and CPA work in partnership with 24 Health Partnerships (HPs) across 8 countries to deliver a comprehensive 4.5-million-pound programme to address global antimicrobial resistance. The programme leverages international cooperation between health organisations working across hospital systems to improve the use of and thus conserve the efficacy of the antimicrobials, and strengthen systems of infection prevention and control (IPC), to reduce the frequency that these drugs are used.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The aim is for the Evaluation to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability, and relevance of the CwPAMS2(Commonwealth Partnerships for Antimicrobial Stewardship Programm) programme's activities and outcomes.
The purpose of this consultancy is to conduct an independent external evaluation of the CwPAMS2
programme to:

• Assess the broader impact of the programme across the 8 countries of implementation and the UK.
• Assess the extent to which the programme objectives and expected outcomes in the logframe have been achieved.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the programme’s design and implementation, including grant management.
• Collect case studies for each country
• Identify lessons learned, best practices, and areas for improvement.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance future programme design and implementation.
• The evaluator(s) will work closely with the THET and CPA teams to navigate existing data and interpret results. The evaluator(s) may want to conduct interviews with THET and CPA and In-Country Consultants to bolster learning gleaned from existing data.

• Develop and implement Mary’s Meals’ marketing strategy in the UK, linking ongoing progress to key organisational KPIs, with a strong emphasis on digital communications.​​
• Work closely with the Data Insights team to ensure strong joint working on technical solutions and insights across digital systems such as the website and Salesforce.​
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative marketing activities (including the use of new channels) to retain existing supporters and identify creative ways to acquire new audiences. 
• Manage the UK website, working closely with colleagues in the international digital team to ensure the site is functioning well, generating traffic and income, and attracting new supporters to our work. ​
• Lead SEO strategy including team utilisation of SEMrush and being an advocate for AI within this space.
• Lead our approach to segmented communications for email marketing and direct mail, developing our supporter journeys and ensuring an ongoing testing and learning approach is in place. ​
• Working closely with Data Insights where required, lead the tracking and analysis of marketing data, to identify key trends, opportunities and areas for development.​
• Oversee campaigns including the creation of campaign plans, execution and delivery and campaign evaluation. ​
• Drive fundraising and supporter acquisition through the use of digital advertising channels, such as Meta and Google.
• Grow fundraising through the online Mary’s Meals shop, through the diversifying of our product range and improved experience for our supporters.
• Oversee the Mary’s Meals UK social media channels.​

About The Role

Home-Start UK is looking for an experienced Trusts & Foundations Officer to join the Trusts and Philanthropy Home-Start UK team. A highly motivated and results-focused fundraiser your role will be pivotal in helping raise funds for our work with parents and children across the UK.

Home-Start UK has a wide portfolio of grant funders, who support our work with grants and donations of around £2m each year. This income funds brilliant projects right across the Home-Start movement, from groups for army families, to volunteer perinatal mental health training, to large-scale initiatives to increase volunteer numbers. Our Trusts and Statutory Income team is central to the delivery and development of great support for families, and for ensuring Home-Start UK has the capacity it needs to deliver high quality services and support to our network. No two days here are the same, and we work closely with colleagues right across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who is organised and details-oriented, with a love of writing and who can build strong relationships with funders and colleagues. As the Trusts & Foundations Officer you will manage key funder relationships, submit compelling applications, develop end-of-grant reports and gather inspiring real-life stories from our network of Home-Start charities. 

You will be part of the Trusts & Philanthropy team and be managed by our Head of Trusts and Philanthropy who is keen to support your development in this role.

About the role

Compassion UK is poised at a significant moment, and we need to achieve ambitious and urgent targets of growth in the number of children released from poverty. We need to develop more and deeper, mutually beneficial, relationships with multi-denominational UK Church leaders, significant event leaders and philanthropists. This will enable us to grow revenue which will increase the impact of Compassion’s child development programmes in the years to come.
 

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you’ll work within the Church Partnerships Team and play a key role to build on existing significant relationships. In addition, develop new larger Key Church Partner Relationships and be actively involved with our strategy to selected Church denominations, networks and events. You’ll be required to speak extensively within church and event settings with a call to action, asking people to consider supporting the work of Compassion. To maximise the opportunities from these partnerships and to achieve sponsorship objectives. Ideally, the successful candidate would be based in London (within the M25).

• Contribute to the development of the Partnerships Team strategy.
• Work collaboratively across Compassion UK to effectively meet objectives.
• Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK’s Christian ethos and values. 

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced Networker – You have a proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships within the Church and Christian events space, with a solid track record to show for it.
• Insight into Church Leadership – You understand and empathize with church leaders, with a genuine appreciation for their challenges and responsibilities.
• Confident Public Speaker – You’re a capable and compelling speaker with experience preaching in churches, comfortable delivering messages that resonate and inspire.
• Sales/Fundraising Expertise – You’ve successfully managed the full cycle of sales or fundraising efforts, from lead generation to closing deals, and have consistently met your targets.
• Weekend Availability – You’re flexible and willing to attend church services or events on weekends (up to 24 activities annually) as part of growing and sustaining partnerships.
• Self-Starter – You work well independently, managing your time and workload effectively while working remotely.
• Strong Administrative Skills – You’re proficient in English, both written and verbal, with solid numerical skills. You’re familiar with essential office tools like Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills That Would Be Beneficial:

• Familiarity with CRM systems or similar platforms.
• Experience in managing or supporting volunteers.

Key Requirements:

• Willingness to Travel – Regular travel across the UK is required, with some overseas trips as agreed upon with the Head of Church Partnerships.
• Full Driving License – You must have a full driving license and access to a car for work (mileage expenses will be reimbursed).
• Location – Ideally, you’re based in London or within M25 commuter belt.
