About the Role

As an Events Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from initial planning to post-event evaluation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of fundraising events, including venue selection, logistics, budgeting, and marketing.  
• Managing event timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution and cost-effectiveness.  
• Developing and implementing strategies to maximise event attendance and fundraising revenue.
• Ensuring all fundraising aligns with our charitable aims, fundraising approach and missional pillars (Souls, Israel, Revival).

Income Generation

• Drive online income generation through effective use of digital fundraising platforms, social media, and supporter journeys.

• Expand and enhance peer-to-peer fundraising, ensuring fundraisers have the tools and motivation to maximise income.

Digital & Social Media

• Increase digital reach and visibility, making sure fundraising messages are seen and acted upon.
• Leverage social media fundraising tools, such as Elovate (CommittedGiving), to improve donor retention and engagement.
• Use AI-powered tools to streamline prospect research, automate content personalisation, and optimise donor engagement.
• Develop and execute strategies to convert social media and website visitors into long-term donors.

Support & Collaboration

• Provide guidance and digital tools to e-volunteers and fundraising champions, enabling them to spread AvMA’s fundraising messages and attract donations.
• Analyse and report on digital fundraising performance, using insights to refine strategy and improve return on investment.
• Contribute to digital income diversification, exploring new revenue-generating opportunities such as online retail or supporter-driven fundraising products (e-commerce experience desirable).

The External Training Manager will work with internal subject matter experts to develop and implement our programme of external training which is aimed at building knowledge of older people’s options when experiencing financial hardship.

About the role: 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Philanthropy Officer to join our small, ambitious team and help secure the funding that makes our work possible.  Our Philanthropy team builds meaningful relationships with supporters—particularly charitable trusts and foundations—to secure a significant proportion of Future Frontiers’ income. 

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you’ll help build a sustainable pipeline of high-value supporters. You’ll focus on researching new funding opportunities, crafting high-quality funding applications, writing tailored reports, and ensuring excellent donor stewardship.

You’ll bring exceptional writing skills, outstanding attention to detail and a proactive, people-focused approach. You may have fundraising experience, or bring a strong understanding of relationship-building from another sector. Your responsibilities: 

Identify new funding opportunities:

You’ll lead on identifying charitable trusts, foundations and major donors with the potential to support Future Frontiers. Through proactive research and collaboration with other teams, you’ll build and qualify a strong pipeline of prospective funders, matching them with appropriate asks. A key part of the role is ensuring a steady flow of new prospects, with regular research and outreach to grow our portfolio of supporters. 

Build and manage a portfolio of supporters: 

You’ll develop a strong understanding of existing and prospective supporters, enabling you to provide thoughtful, tailored relationship management. With guidance from the Head of Philanthropy, you’ll help build and maintain relationships with a range of grant-making trusts and foundations, securing donations and delivering proactive stewardship to encourage continued support. Report on impact:

You’ll demonstrate the difference our supporters make by delivering high-quality reports, updates and case studies that bring our impact to life. You’ll manage reporting timelines and ensure our commitments are met, helping to secure future funding and strengthen relationships.

We are looking for an empathetic, organised and proactive Services Manager to join our team. This role will oversee the day-to-day delivery of Sebby’s Corner’s core support services, including Essentials Support Collections, our New Parent Baby Essentials Experience, and seasonal programmes like School Uniform Support and Christmas Support.

About Sebby’s Corner

Sebby's Corner is based in Barnet, EN5 and our aim is to ensure that no child goes without the basic essentials they need to thrive. We supply items such as clothing, nappies, formula and baby equipment to local families living in poverty. Families in need get referred to us by social workers, health visitors, family support workers, midwives and other professionals from our 800-strong referral partner network.

We also offer school uniform support in the summer and a Birthday Club that ensures children have the chance to celebrate with gifts, balloons and a cake. At Christmas, we host a festive shop where families can choose presents for their children, giving children the chance to have a Christmas just like their peers.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

Service Delivery

• Guiding families during their New Parent Baby Essentials Experience appointment, helping them choose the items they need for their baby. Ensure clients feel supported and empowered when choosing items.
• Coordinate logistics, appointments, stock, and setup for our two seasonal services within a set timeline and budget - Christmas Support and School Uniform Support.
• Manage booking system across our services
• Ensure families and referral partners have a welcoming and respectful experience at the hub.
• Support complex referrals and work alongside the Referrals Coordinator to meet urgent or sensitive needs.
• Supporting our Referrals Co-ordinator with the Essentials Support service during busy periods to ensure families and referral partners who are collecting receive a positive and dignified experience and receive the items they requested.

Impact & Evaluation

• Gather and respond to feedback from families and volunteers to improve future service delivery.
• Provide reporting and statistics for impact reporting.

Referral Partner Engagement

• Act as a main point of contact for referral partners and schools.
• Onboarding new referral partners by providing clear information about service criteria, availability, and referral processes.
• Deliver briefings, training sessions, and guidance materials to improve referral quality and understanding.

Signposting & Partnerships

• Help families access additional support by providing signposting to trusted local services.
• Maintain a regularly updated resource list on the website and collaborate with partners to expand support options.
• Promote and lead on our Service Delivery partnerships such as educational workshops with Parent Learning Platform and antenatal classes with All About Babies and encourage family engagement.

Safeguarding

What we can offer

Salary and pension
The salary range for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.

Annual leave
You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles). We usually close between Christmas and New Year without this time coming off your annual leave allowance.

Role Responsibilities 

Strategy and planning

• Deliver the existing Community and Events strategy and maximise opportunities for income growth 

• Identify and develop new income generating opportunities across Community and Events Fundraising, devising new events and engagement opportunities

• Develop, implement and monitor against KPIs, annual plans, and income and expenditure budgets, ensuring targets are met with robust analysis and reporting 

Income growth, event and supporter management

• Proactively manage all aspects of Community & Events Fundraising to increase our supporter base and maximise income, supported by the Events and Community Officer

• operational management of all income and expenditure ensuring sound ROI.

• Develop and deliver supporter journeys that raise average fundraising per head, decreases drop-outs and increases repeat entry 

• Implement new digital and value exchange fundraising streams

• Optimise the Family Fund programme to strengthen commitment and fundraising potential of existing Family Funds, and enable recruitment of new Funds 

• Deliver excellent support to fundraising groups and recruit new volunteers to fundraise and advocate on behalf of the charity

• Work collaboratively across the charity to facilitate cross-selling opportunities and engaging supporters in other fundraising opportunities, in particular working with the corporate team to recruit participants and support propositions at corporate fairs. 

Fundraising events management

• Manage delivery of the event portfolio to achieve financial and sign-up targets, delivering effective on the-day support for event participants. This includes ensuring our events are accessible for visually impaired participants

• Deliver excellent supporter care to ensure supporters are motivated to achieve (and exceed) their fundraising targets, feel valued and build engagement with us 

• Key point of contact for high level event participants and community fundraisers via face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails – providing timely and personalised support

• Support the Events and Community Officer with enquiries, applications and registrations for challenge events, ensuring high levels of conversion, and capturing relevant supporter data 

• Support the Head of Community and Engagement, or other teams within Fight for Sight with the successful delivery of key special events, including fundraising gala dinners or receptions, virtual events and mini conferences, and third party or established supporter events.

• When required, support the Events and Community Officer in managing guest lists, enquiries, and ticket sales for special/major donor events and receptions, delivering a seamless guest experience and timely follow-ups supporter care and relationship management

Marketing 

• Oversee all paid Facebook advertising activity for events, updating web listings, and utilising our networks

• Work with the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness/increase recruitment across all activities, highlighting case studies and media stories 

• Develop and deliver effective and engaging content, and materials for supporters to increase recruitment, retention, and average fundraising amounts

• Oversee the creation and delivery of quarterly events e-newsletter, plus additional e-blasts

Managing information and reporting 

• Work with the Database Manger to ensure accurate records within our CRM system (ThankQ) and management of income from online and offline giving

• Carry out post-event evaluations, analysing supporter data help facilitate greater levels of income 

• Support other areas by attending events, exhibitions etc. as required by a small team with varied responsibilities

• Other duties as may be reasonably required by line manager role

Leadership & management  

• Provide excellent leadership and line management of direct reports, ensuring that team members meet their individual objectives, develop and grow in their roles, and are motivated and high performing

• Work as part of the fundraising senior management team, alongside the Director and Head of Community and Engagement to devise, deliver and implement the team’s strategy and the organisation’s strategic plan

Person specification

Desirable skills, knowledge & experience

• Minimum five years of experience of events and community fundraising, in particular with developing overseas or large-scale mass participant events.

• Experience with recruiting new volunteers and fundraisers from a range of community groups including but not limited to faith-based fundraising, schools and street collections. 

• Meeting income targets of over £350,000.

• Experience with managing senior volunteers within fundraising groups and building excellent rapport with them.

• Liaising at all levels with the ability to motivate and inspire others to support financially. 

• An effective networker, with an ability to build high level relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Experience of designing and delivering high impact stewardship programmes and delivering successful and engaging events.

• Proven experience of devising budgets and project plans and reporting against them.

As a Programme Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and enabling the International Programmes at TI-UK (TI Defence and Security and Global Health) to operate efficiently and effectively, by delivering timely, consistent, rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.

The Programme Officer will report to, work closely with, and receive guidance from the Project Manager to deliver the work effectively within the International Programmes.

What will I be doing?

• Compile and draft programme documentation for internal review, including preparing quarterly and annual progress reports, as well as monthly updates for donors.
• Support the Project Manager in monitoring reporting updates from Chapter partners across West and North Africa, and providing Chapter partners programmatic support as needed.
• Assist team members in identifying, tracking, and reporting on results across international programmes, ensuring all information is accurately compiled and stored in a designated location.
