KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital media content

· Create engaging rich media content across a range of digital channels, including SAT-7 website, app, email, social media and other external digital marketing platforms.

· Produce / repurpose and edit high quality video content, especially for resources, campaigns, appeals and events to engage and inspire supporters.

· Increase the flow and impact of inspiring digital media content, including podcasts, animations and shorts/reels, tailored to our existing supporters and emerging audiences.

Website

· Oversee SAT-7’s websites ensuring they are inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and deepen engagement.

· Create and update web content, such as articles, media, resources and landing pages, to drive engagement.

Social Media

· Work closely with other team members to deliver consistent and impactful social media content and engagement opportunities, across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Digital Marketing

· Design and produce digital marketing assets, for advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to deepen engagement with existing supporters and donors, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.

Client Experience

As part of this, you will understand the role and responsibilities of the Office Administrator responsibilities so you can provide training, backfill and assist during busy periods. This includes:

PLACE OF WORK

This is a home-working role. All home-working office equipment will be provided by the company as required.

Overview of the Projects Manager – Central Asia role and the team

About the Role 

GLAN has a small yet powerful fundraising team.  Our Development Lead excels in relationship fundraising, having forged multi-year funding partnerships with aligned Trusts & Foundations and major donors. Income generation 

• Philanthropic Giving Programme Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to secure new major gifts from high-net-worth individuals, Trusts & Foundations, and corporations.

• Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with major donors, ensuring a robust pipeline of high-value prospects. 

• Fundraising: Secure significant donations (5 and 6 figure gifts) from individuals and organisations.

Who is The Charlie Waller Trust?
The Charlie Waller Trust was created by the Waller family in 1997 in response to the loss of their son and brother Charlie who died by suicide. We have since become one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities for children and young people. Our overarching mission is to educate those with responsibility for children and young people - parents and carers, teachers, college and university staff, and employers - about children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The Youth Ambassador Role: We are seeking UK-based Youth Ambassadors (16-25 year olds) to join our Youth Involvement Team. We wish to appoint people that can bring diverse experiences in education, work or community in order to help create and shape the work that we do. The Youth Ambassadors role is about prioritising youth representation, identity and community across our charitable activity and beyond. How much time am I expected to commit?
We expect those joining the Youth Ambassador group to join on a freelance basis for one year from February 2025 to January 2026. 
Hours are subject to change each month but on average we would plan for you to work for CWT for up to 14 hours (2 days) per month. The majority of the working hours offered can be arranged as flexibly as possible around your other commitments

Will I be paid?Ambassadors will be remunerated for their time at a delivery and desk rate of £15 per hour for work both online and in person. 

Desk work includes training preparation, resource coproduction or review, attending meetings and involvement in focus groups. Delivery work includes training delivery, public speaking at an event about the work of the Trust or hosting or being interviewed on the ambassador podcast.

What you will need to succeed

Working within our Communities Directorate you will have demonstrable experience of delivering Energy Advice and helping others.  Therefore, it is vital that you have empathy, confidence and knowledge of the issues facing vulnerable low-income households.

You will have knowledge and understanding of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them.

You will also have knowledge of assistance available for energy efficiency improvements to low-income households.

We are looking for a permanent full-time Outreach Officer to contribute their personality, energy, drive, skills and experience to add value to our Blesma Outreach team within the Independence and Wellbeing department at Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.

The role is home-based being a varied one, focusing primarily on delivering an engaging blended programme of activities that enhances social inclusion, improves the wellbeing of our members and overcomes the negative impact of disability.   The role requires a person who is a self starter, friendly, compassionate, confident who enjoys taking the initiative being creative and has a strong commitment to the veterans’ community.  

The role also involves representing Blesma and raising the charity’s profile within the local community across the Midlands. 

The Independence and Wellbeing team works collaboratively across the Association to ensure Blesma’s programmes and services can help our serving Service personnel, veterans and their families thrive and lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Blesma is unique as a membership Association as well as a charity.  Our members are at the heart of all our work, therefore, the impact of the Outreach Officer is highly visible and appreciated in the experiences of our inspirational limbless veterans.

The Finance Manager is a key member of our team. You will be responsible for the accounting and financial management of the charity and its trading company. You will be responsible for reporting on the financial performance to Trustee Board and the Finance Sub-Committee.

In liaison with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead on agreeing departmental and overall budgets. You will be responsible with the CEO for ensuring a high quality and effective working of the charity including compliance with all its financial policies and statutory requirements.

This role can be worked flexibly; at home, hybrid, or in our office in Kemp Town Brighton, and on the days and times that suit you, whether that’s mornings, afternoons, or even evenings.

Part time post 18 hours per week, 0.51 full-time equivalent FTE)

Salary £40,000 per annum (pro-rata)

About the role

You will support the Individual Giving team in the delivery of key fundraising strategies across a range of channels and income streams. This includes project-managing direct marketing campaigns, working to our digital fundraising strategy, liaising with suppliers and delivering key donor stewardship. You will play a key role in driving income at Emmaus UK as well as supporting the fundraising of Emmaus federation partners.

Working within the Fundraising and Influence directorate, reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the role will be central to the delivery of the strategic objectives of the fundraising team.

Responsibilities of our Senior Prospect Research Officer

• The prospect research officer will join a dynamic team contributing to the overall growth of our Partnerships and Philanthropic income and sits within the newly formed Research and Engagement team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed knowledge and insight on donors and potential sources of philanthropic funds. Underpinning the team's ability to increase opportunities to build successful donor relationships alongside ethical gift acceptance processes, pipeline and information management.

About the Philanthropy & Partnerships team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• Our team is responsible for ensuring direct fundraisers are equipped to make compelling asks and steward donors. We cover prospect research, KPI and pipeline reporting, high value events, stewardship and engagement asset creation, and cross team operational support.

• Significant experience of charity fundraising ideally in high value giving
• Significant experience of prospect research, using a variety of sources and methods

• Extensive knowledge of prospect research processes and sources used in post GDPR research activities.
