- Undertaking salary benchmarking using a range of survey data, internal comparators and investigation of external markets
- Supporting the annual salary review process, through research, benchmarking etc, assist in the compilation of associated communications
- Undertaking Gender Pay Gap reporting, providing data and insights
- Providing effective reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of reward related data, providing trend analysis and recommendations
- Providing advice and guidance to People colleagues and senior managers on reward and benefit issues
This post is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Part Time opportunity, working 21 hours per week. Schedule of hours to be agreed between Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.

An exciting opportunity to join the Rank Foundation team in London or Penrith as Alumni Development Officer through the Time to Shine leadership programme. Key accountabilities:
Alumni Programme Research & Development:
- To assist with the identification of and engagement with the wider alumni community
- To implement a range of activities to engage with Rank’s alumni community;
- To design, plan and deliver Fellowship events, webinars, and other programmes that promote networking and professional development opportunities among Fellows/alumni;
- To create and develop relationships with the Fellows/alumni to increase involvement in the Foundation’s activities;
- To administer the mentoring programme connecting older Fellows with younger ones at the beginning of their professional careers;
- To liaise with the Comms team to raise the social media profile of the Rank Fellowship Alumni Network;
- To serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries, communications, and requests;
- To be the secretariat for the Fellows Leadership Team, drafting agendas, minute taking, and following up on actions
- To design, plan and deliver School Leadership events with support from the Finance & Operations Officer
Data & Reporting:
- Manage the Fellowship database, ensuring it is kept up to date

About the role:

- Develop and lead the 2025 growth and marketing plan, including creating marketing emails and social media content to engage prospective members. About the role:
The primary focus of the Bookkeeper role is credit control - raising invoices and following up on accounts receivable for our membership (approximately 1000 participants). The role will also include posting expenses and ensuring they are properly documented, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring that records are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with relevant accounting principles.
This is a part-time role (3 days per week to start). The successful candidate may normally work from home or our office, but occasional in-person meetings at the office will be required (minimum twice per month).
Who we are looking for:
- Someone with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with excellent attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Someone with strong organisational skills, capable of managing time effectively and prioritising multiple tasks efficiently.
- A confident communicator, both in writing and verbally, who can interact well with team members, management, and external stakeholders. They should also be comfortable using the telephone and willing to make calls when needed.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work with numbers accurately is essential.
- Someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to review and interpret financial data, resolve discrepancies, and provide valuable insights to support senior management's decision-making.
- An individual with good IT skills who is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with experience in accounting software and CRM systems like Salesforce. We use Xero, but knowledge of this specific software is not required.
In your first 6 months:
To help you settle quickly, we will provide a thorough and comprehensive onboarding. Through meetings with key colleagues and online training, we will help you to become familiar with our way of working and our value proposition.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable (member invoicing and collections) ensuring that all invoices are generated on time and payments are collected effectively.
- Monitor Member Accounts: Track outstanding balances and proactively contact members regarding unpaid invoices to ensure timely payment
- Debt Collection: Chase overdue payments by phone or email.

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member accounts, including invoices, payment history, and communications, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Cash Allocation: Ensure all incoming payments are correctly allocated to the corresponding invoices.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any disputes or queries regarding invoices or payments.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on outstanding debts, overdue accounts, and the overall status of the company’s receivables to senior management.
- Liaison: Collaborate with internal teams (Participant Engagement/Impact & Growth/Programmes) to resolve any issues that may delay payment.
- Expense Management: Track company expenses and ensure they are allocated correctly across teams.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank accounts to ensure that all transactions are properly allocated and accounted for, and discrepancies are addressed.
- VAT Compliance: Ensure VAT is accurately applied to all relevant transactions and prepare VAT returns for review by our accountant or Executive Director before submission, in compliance with legal requirements.
- Support Audits: Prepare relevant documents and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records.
- Petty Cash Handling: Manage petty cash transactions and ensure they are recorded appropriately.
The Bookkeeper may also be required to perform general finance and accounts-related tasks as needed to support the overall financial operations of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Certification in bookkeeping, or equivalent
- A good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping is essential, along with familiarity with tax and regulatory requirements.

A global philanthropic organisation is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their London-based team. The organisation works with partners globally to combat climate change and to drive positive change particular in areas globally which have been adversely affected by challenges related to climate change.
The Finance Business Partner position is a newly created role within the charity, created to facilitate significant recent and upcoming growth owing to the success of their programmes. This is a pivotal role for the organisation, coordinating and supporting a range of stakeholders including Directors and C-suite level individuals, in advising on the financial management and effectiveness on several of their key programmes.

About the Role:
The Information & Advice Generalist Adviser provides rights-based advice to clients, helping them understand and access services, entitlements, and benefits. Working closely with our team of volunteer advisers, you’ll be a valued source of expertise, conducting benefits checks, assisting with claims, and providing guidance on a range of issues that affect older adults. You’ll also take part in outreach activities, collaborating with partner agencies and representing Age UK Bromley & Greenwich in community events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, accessible advice on welfare benefits, care provision, housing options, legal issues (such as Lasting Power of Attorney), and more.
- Conduct benefits assessments, support claims processes, and advocate for clients in appeals.
- Perform rights-based casework, including helping clients with complaints and making representations as needed.
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date client records in our case management system.
- Collaborate with volunteer advisers, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure consistent service quality.
- Conduct outreach and participate in community events across Bromley and Greenwich to expand our reach.
- Work closely with colleagues and external partners to facilitate client referrals and deliver joined-up support.
- Stay informed of relevant laws, policies, and local services to offer the most current and effective advice.

The Finance Officer is part of the Organisational Support and Development (OSD) team at the Tax Justice Network, which is led by the Director of OSD, and the role reports to the Head of Finance and Reporting. The OSD team leads and delivers on a range of operational services from finance management, risk management, project management, event management, human resources, IT systems and other enabling functions. The team is also responsible for fundraising for the organisation. This includes respond to calls for proposals, track funding opportunities and engage with donors regularly.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake the day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking payroll and general ledger maintenance
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial records and keeping a clear audit trail of all financial records
- Manage the staff payroll process including pension, HMRC and other related processes
- Manage the periodic payment runs and ensure that all payments are paid on time
- Supporting financial planning and reporting for project proposals, project reporting and management reports
- Support with project and year end audits schedules
- Assist in the preparation of accruals, prepayments and other journals
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Provide guidance to team on internal financial processes and policies and assist with queries and escalating them as necessary

Essential
• Holding or working towards a CCAB, CIMA or overseas equivalent qualification
• Hands on experience of working in a finance department of charities or not for profit organisations
• Experience of carrying out detailed reconciliations, and can demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a thorough and methodical approach in all work
• Strong IT skills with intermediate knowledge of Excel and cloud-based accounting software (preferably Xero)
• Ability to communicate effectively, accurately and succinctly in English, in writing and verbally

• Experience of working with multi-currency transactions and cash holdings
