This position has become available because of an exciting internal secondment. We are therefore seeking a personable and proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail to join our team of Operations Officers.

Working within our values and behavioural framework, the role involves closely managing the relationships of our partner organisations (known as Licensed Organisations – LOs) and ensuring those within your portfolio offer quality and inclusive DofE programmes to young people.

While managing these relationships, across your portfolio area you will also identify and develop new relationships with appropriate educational and community organisations to widen the access of the DofE to young people, particularly those who experience marginalisation.

You will be undertaking regular meetings, in person and virtually, engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels within different organisations across your portfolio area. When not attending meetings, employees work from home where you will need to have an appropriate home office set up and live within, or in commutable distance, of the portfolio area of Bristol.

We are looking for a team player who has a passion for the development of young people and who will be enthusiastic, who can engage and influence a variety of stakeholders and who will be an authentic ambassador for the DofE.

You will need to have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders and have the skills to inspire and influence them to enable young people to participate in DofE.

To undertake the role, you’ll need to be exceptionally organised, be able to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and have excellent administrative skills, being both computer literate and competent in MS Office applications.

The role:

Reporting to the Director of Communication, this role will work closely with the immediate team and effectively across the business and will be responsible for devising and executing impactful internal communication and behaviour change campaigns, in support of key change and inclusion programmes at the Arts Council.

Situated in the Advocacy and Communication team, this new role will collaborate closely with two other groups of internal stakeholders made up of colleagues from across the organisation. The person:

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of change management and internal communication project delivery, ideally with a large national charity or indeed in a local authority, central government, NHS Trust or Higher Education environment. This person will have led on initiatives, possibly EDI related, but most importantly transformation and change, where internal messaging, mobilising forums and staff engagement has been central to success.

An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, this person will be confident and proactive with excellent attention to detail and will be highly organised. A natural problem solver, this person will also be confident in the use of all MS Office packages, creative design products and database management.

About the role

Based within the Fundraising Team, this role is responsible for providing exceptional supporter care to our donors and fundraisers, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting, and supporting various income streams for the charity including individual giving and community fundraising. It is an important role within the Fundraising and Communications Department, which is responsible for raising the profile of the organisation and the experiences of those we are here to help, and mobilising support to the cause.

This role will help acquire and steward existing and prospective supporters, including individuals, schools and faith groups taking part in fundraising events and activities, as well as one-off and regular donors. • Work collaboratively with volunteers and the Community Partnerships Team to ensure adequate support for fundraising activity and outreach opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team to maintain and develop our food donation programme.

General

• To attend meetings internally as and when necessary, for example, Directorate, Management and planning meetings.
• To undertake such other duties within the competence of the post holder which may be required from time to time.

About the Role

You will line manage Regional Financial Managers, to ensure high quality, disciplined and supportive financial structure is in place to support all programmes under MSI Africa. Development Officer

As Development Officer, the main part of the role will involve assisting the new Business Manager with appraisal of development opportunities across ISHA’s core and key working boroughs to meet the organisations business development growth. This will comprise review of potential projects and communication with multiple agencies to include Landowners, Estate Agents, and developers as well as internal and external stakeholders like local authorities plus our regulator and funding body, the Greater London Authority. The role also requires working closely with the development team both Delivery and Sales to the agreed development programme to achieve handover and completion.

In addition to the above, there are other aspects of the role you will be required to undertake and involve reporting and monitoring of defects and latent defects across our projects to ensure these are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion and outcome, whilst ensuring excellent customer services are delivered in line with ISHA’s core values. You will also help the team to take on the role of raising Purchase Orders and processing departmental invoices for payment to our approved suppliers within the agreed timeframe.

Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail with excellent customer care
