ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our Individual Giving Manager you will organise and oversee all our individual giving activities. You will develop income and engagement from individuals working across a range of income streams including but not limited to Regular Giving, Philanthropy, Legacy, Appeals and Lottery.
You will also oversee strategy with a view to gaining ongoing growth, through developing engaging fundraising campaigns and delivering high quality, timely and personalised stewardship to recruit new and retain existing supporters.
You’ll be an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of using a variety of direct marketing techniques to grow Individual Giving. You will work closely with our MarComms team to create content across various channels ensuring relevant and engaging communications are sent to supporters across email, BHWT newsletters, social media, BHWT magazine and video.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- To develop and deliver strategy across Individual Giving in an effort to maximise income.
- To steward and recruit donors whilst developing and retaining regular and cash givers.
- To manage a calendar of compelling fundraising projects and campaigns including direct marketing appeals across electronic, postal and social media channels.
- To utilise insight and data to set, monitor and evaluate campaigns and revenue performance.
- Management of our BHWT lottery.
- To build and nurture effective relationships with a number of segments including major donors, regular givers and pledged legators, increasing value and loyalty from new and existing donors.
- To examine supporter data to identify patterns and trends, helping to build and develop insights into BHWT supporters.
- To segment various data audiences for postal appeals using Salesforce.
- To explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and retention.
- To analyse and report on fundraising activities to maximise return on investment and feed key findings to the CEO.
- Collaborate closely with MarComms to build understanding and support across the organisation whilst delivering rewarding, interconnected projects and appeals.
- To create and update donor records ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
- To provide support to other areas of fundraising where appropriate.
- To undertake ad hoc tasks from time to time as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A strong empathy for animal welfare and the work of the BHWT
- Demonstrable successes in growing income across multiple IG revenues with a wide range of activities, campaigns, and appeals
- Proven experience of researching, evaluating, testing and implementing successful fundraising products or activities
- Experience of utilising performance metrics and KPIs for donor acquisition, cost-benefit, and return-on-investment analyses
- Proven experience of campaign management and delivery
- Track record of developing and optimising supporter-focused content and products that increase reach and engagement across a wide range of channels
- Experience of using a fundraising database and segmenting relevant fundraising data
- Ability to drive success and inspire others to ensure relevant targets and standards are met
- Ability to prioritise and manage a busy programme to ensure the smooth running of a full calendar
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade a wide range of stakeholders including suppliers, supporters, and colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to different types of audience through various channels
- Thorough knowledge of fundraising regulations and data protection
- Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite

About the Role
In this strategic post as the Community and Business Development Manager for Essex you will play a key role in overseeing our existing work and also contributing to the development of future work within the region. Main Duties
1. Responsible for building strong relationships and developing working partnerships across a wide range of local stakeholders with the aim of developing new business opportunities in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
2. To plan, develop and deliver high quality programmes, projects and interventions and ensuring all are in line with the overall strategy and objectives of the organisation and that meet contractual obligations.
3. To work closely with the funding team and the regional manager to develop new funding bids in line with opportunities created through partnerships and business development.

6. Devise, understand and use asset-based community development approaches to community development and work with communities to understand priorities and co-design initiatives. Ensure that delivery mitigates or removes the barriers to participation.
7. Keep abreast of new and emergent thinking across wellbeing, community development and tackling inequalities as well as innovation and leadership in this field of work. Work collaboratively with partners from across the area to develop new innovation and interventions in line with the emergent opportunities.
8. Play a key role in monitoring and evaluation plans, through collecting, analysing and sharing data (quantitative and qualitative) working with the TAWS Data & Insight team.

2. Line management

3. Reporting and insight
- Monitor expenditure against budget, investigate and explain variances, and produce monthly budget holder reports.
- Support budget holders in understanding and monitoring their expenditure.
4. Collaboration
- Provide support to the Financial Planning and Analysis sub-team by the provision of transactional data/information as required.
- Collaborate effectively within the Finance team to enhance performance and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Work with internal/external auditors and other stakeholders are required.
5. Business partnering
- Provision of business partnering support to the Foundation’s core teams (People & Culture, Corporate Communications, and Operations):
- Build, maintain and develop effective relationships with members of the core teams and work closely with them to improve mutual knowledge and financial understanding.
- Develop the business partner role into one that is able to deliver effective financial performance information, support operational decision making, and support the development of a culture of value-for-money within the core teams.
- Work with the Head of Finance/Finance Director where strategic decision support and forward-looking insight/analysis is required.
Knowledge and qualifications
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified accounting technician (e.g. AAT).
• Understanding of the accounting framework and financial challenges for the charity sector.

Experience
• Demonstrable experience of managing multiple staff in a busy, transaction focussed team.

About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon.
We are seeking an experienced legacy professional to lead and grow MAP’s legacy giving programme. This role is instrumental in generating circa £1m annually, directly contributing to MAP’s vital work. You’ll take the lead in building MAP’s legacy programme – from marketing legacies to stewarding prospects, enquirers and pledgers. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll design engaging supporter journeys that ensure an exceptional experience, strengthening MAP’s legacy pipeline. Leadership and Strategy
• Lead the development of the legacy programme, creating a strategic plan that considers audiences, products and channels and which is aligned to MAP’s fundraising strategy.

What you’ll do
As a Research Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our banking survey. Through your work, you will have the opportunity to influence the banking sector’s approach to sustainability by highlighting areas of improvement and leading practices among Europe’s largest banks. In close collaboration with colleagues in the Banking Standards and Financial Sector Research teams, you will:
- Lead survey development: Oversee all aspects of our banking survey, from designing methodology and collecting and analysing data to producing engaging written outputs and data visualisations that summarise key findings. As our Recruitment Manager, you’ll lead the recruitment process during this exciting period of growth, ensuring we bring in exceptional talent to help us achieve our mission. You’ll be working in a small and dynamic People team, collaborating with hiring managers and our Culture Lead.
Key responsibilities include:

Engage closely with hiring managers to gain insights into their teams and the specific skills and experience required.

Create recruitment campaigns that authentically reflect YEF’s values, are inclusive and attract a diverse and highly qualified pool of candidates.

Screen candidates for our roles and be the People Team representative on our interview panels.

Conduct a thorough review of the recruitment process to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

About this role
The Trusts & Foundations Manager (UK) will be a vital part of our Partnerships team. BRAC has identified Trusts and Foundations in the UK as a key programme partnerships priority, and this role will lead our work to forge and steward new and existing partnerships with trusts and foundations in the UK, including corporate funders.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a truly unique development organisation formed and led from the Global South, to help take our UK trust and foundations, including corporate portfolio to the next level. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and ambitious fundraising leader, either from the for-profit or not-for-profit sector, with a track record of co-creating strategic partnerships with foundations and corporations, who is a self-starter and will relish the opportunity to grow BRAC’s foundations and corporate portfolio to deliver impactful, long-lasting change.
