We're looking for a keen and motivated Training Administrator to join our small, friendly team at our head office in Rugby. You'll be working closely with our Training Manager and ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) Training Project Manager, facilitating the smooth delivery of workshops, events and meetings, advertising and promoting training workshops and preparing training delivery and feedback reports. The Survivors Trust provides a range of workshops and training opportunities for professionals working with victims and survivors of sexual violence and sexual abuse.
You will provide high level administrative support for the Training Manager and ISVA Training Project Manager, overseeing training bookings and maintaining a database of trainees on our CRM (Beacon). You will be responsible for collecting and collating feedback from training attendees and preparing reports to support training delivery. Working in collaboration with the Training Team you will support the advertising and marketing of training opportunities including updating relevant website content.
You will also maintain accurate records of training and project delivery, including budgets and impact measures data for both internal and external stakeholders. Part of your role will include gathering statistics for monitoring and reporting processes.
You will ideally have previous experience of administration in a training setting and/or working in the voluntary sector but please don't be put off applying if you don't meet all requirements. The right candidate will be an effective communcator in a friendly and professional manner, with excellent IT skills including CRM and LMS.
You will be required to complete DBS clearance to work at The Survivors Trust.
Hours - full time, 35 hours per week. Job share would be considered. Hours are flexible.

About The Role
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, the Operations and Systems Manager would take a birds-eye view of our organisation to help us build a consistent, collaborative and centralised approach to how we work. You would hold responsibility for developing and embedding operational strategies, processes, policies, and systems that meet our needs and help to support staff wellbeing. This role includes a key focus on improving how we can better use and manage our digital infrastructure to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and to improve our ability to engage and retain external audiences, enabling us to build our impact on a national scale. Key areas of responsibility are as follows:
Day-to-day operational management of the Charity, including:
- Resolving daily operational and administrative issues efficiently and effectively.
- Taking initiative to enhance or develop, implement and embed effective systems and working practices, drawing from personal knowledge and experience and external examples of best practice.
- Developing and refining our approach to hybrid working, ensuring systems and processes enable connection and creativity across the organisation. This includes working closely with the HR and Finance Officer to ensure new and existing staff are appropriately trained and supported with ensuring a safe, comfortable and productive home working set-up.
- Taking responsibility for managing our office space and working environment, ensuring it is fit for the organisation’s needs. As a Peer Support Worker, you will use your skills and experience to work directly with people with mental health issues in group and one-to-one settings. You will work with the Wellbeing Assessors and Team Leads to provide Wellbeing support to patients within their particular Primary Care Network (PCN). This part of the Solent Mind Wellbeing Service provides one-to-one wellbeing support within the GP practices, working alongside the wider Primary Mental Health & Wellbeing service.
In this part-time role, you will work 22.5 hours per week and will be based in GP surgeries within Eastleigh Southern Parishes PCN.

The Trustees of St Neots Foodbank are looking for a new Foodbank Manager to join our amazing team of volunteers. We are a community-led operation that is based on, shaped, and guided by Christian principles. We believe no-one in our community should have to face going hungry.
St Neots Foodbank was founded ten years ago by the town’s churches; and is part of the Trussell Trust network and is still managed by trustees from those churches. At St Neots Foodbank we have our own warehouse and run four distribution centres across St Neots each week; all currently staffed by over 70 volunteers.

About the role
As a Wellbeing Assessor, you will use your skills and experience to work directly with people with mental health issues in one-to-one settings, including telephone, face-to-face and online engagement. You will work with clients to help them identify their needs and goals and offer some skills and techniques to self-manage their mental health and link them to the right mental health support for them. You will work collaboratively with other partners in the Primary Care Mental Health Service and Solent Mind Wellbeing Service.
This is a part-time role for 18.5 hours per week (over three weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday – must include Monday afternoons) working across the New Forest PCN (Lymington/Milford-on-Sea/Lyndhurst/Brockenhurst).
About you
Educated to a minimum of level 2 standard or extensive relevant experience, you will be experienced in working with vulnerable people with diverse needs in a mental health setting. You’ll also be able to work on your own initiative and within a team and have good written and verbal communication skills.

About LMK
Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK (Let Me Know) is on a mission to change that. We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. Job Purpose
This is a new role, joining a small and growing Fundraising Team, with responsibility for proactively leading the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, grant-making trusts, and corporate supporters, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.
You will build and maintain lasting relationships with LMKs valued funders, thinking strategically and working closely with programme delivery colleagues to develop fundraising cases of support and impact reporting.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Development, the successful candidate will join LMK’s core staff team, and will have a real input into our plans and strategies for the future by working with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board and trustees to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver a structured and dynamic plan to engage high-value donors, trusts and corporate supporters.
● Understand supporter motivations, identifying opportunities across the Charity that inspire and engage, enabling supporters to achieve their fundraising goals.
● Work closely with colleagues to develop inspiring fundraising cases for support and impact reporting.
● Undertake prospect research, identifying prospective new funders for LMK
● Meet with and present to potential and existing funders with passion, enthusiasm and professionalism.
● Manage funder relationships, ensuring that they are kept informed of progress, key milestones and future opportunities to support the charity, and that they are thanked and thoughtfully stewarded, in order to maximise retention, and increase levels of support over time.

Person specification
● A proven ability to work proactively to identify new contacts and opportunities for funding through extensive research
● Experience of providing excellent relationship management and stewardship resulting in increased levels of financial support from partners
● Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
● Thorough understanding of legal and charity regulations in relation to fundraising
● Skilled in identifying and developing creative, high-quality cases for support, funding proposals and impact reporting in collaboration with others
● Strong MS Office/Google knowledge, numerate, comfortable with data
● Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.
● A knowledge of the Violence Against Women and Girls sector, Education sector or working with young people would be preferable, although not essential.

The Role

Policy development

Work with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager to research and produce high quality, evidence-based cancer-related policies and position statements.

Ensure existing policies and position statements are kept up to date, taking ownership for these updates when new evidence is published.
Influencing

We are a small charity, employing an average of 30 staff (21 full-time equivalent), with a turnover of c£600,000 per year through a mix of grants and contracted services, and we deliver a range of advice and support projects, some of which include holding grant funds for payment to residents or directly to contractors or utilities on their behalf.
The primary role of the Finance Manager is to oversee and manage the finances of Energy Projects Plus including providing high quality management information and support to the Chief Executive and Trustees to ensure the strong financial performance of the charity.
You will also be responsible for the accurate production of monthly salary calculations, including HMRC payments, quarterly VAT calculations and returns to HMRC, production of annual accounts, and ensuring a fully compliant annual audit.
You will work with and be Line Manager to a part-time finance assistant, who is responsible for day-to-day entries into the charity’s QuickBooks finance system and arranging day-to-day payments to staff and external organisations.
You will be the main point of contact on behalf of the charity for all financial matters, including influencing future strategy and direction, liaising with the Chief Executive.
Your skills will include:
·A relevant accounting qualification e.g. CIMA with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
·A proven track record in charity management and a good understanding of the environment in which charities operate.
·Strong computer skills, including advanced user standard for mainstream accountancy software and Microsoft suite software
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Ensuring the effective running of the day-to-day financial operations in line with the charity’s financial policies and procedures and be the main point of contact for all enquiries regarding finance matters.
2. Income: ensuring timely, accurate recording and classification of all income on the charity’s QuickBooks system (including designated restricted funds); issuing sales invoices, including those for vatable sales; recording remittances, electronic banking transactions; carrying out the credit control function reporting potential bad debts to the Chief Executive.
3. Expenditure: ensuring appropriate authorisation is obtained for all expenditure; counterchecking all expenses claims for compliance with charity policy; ensuring accurate recording of expenditure on QuickBooks including correct cost code allocation; ensuring appropriate records of invoices and claims are filed appropriately.
4. Payroll: Liaising with the payroll service provider on a monthly basis to prepare input to salary calculations (new starters, leavers, adjustments etc) and countercheck payroll details from provider, arrange approval of figures, ensure pension and HMRC payments are made in compliance with requirements.
5. VAT return: calculating (including manual adjustments for irrecoverable VAT) and submitting quarterly VAT records, ensuring payment is made in compliance with requirements.
6. Management accounts: preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, highlighting variances to budgets, liaising with Chief Executive in presenting to Trustees, and providing other financial information requested to inform strong financial management.
7. Annual accounts: preparing year-end accounts, processing year-end adjustments on QuickBooks, producing all supporting documentation required for annual external audit. Ensuring audited accounts are submitted to Charity Commission and Companies House before required deadlines.
8. Working with the Chief Executive to prepare the Trustees’ Annual Report in good time for approval by Trustees prior to inclusion in Annual Report and Financial Statement.
9. Maintaining and updating periodically the charity’s financial procedures policy.
