The vision of Wild Impact (registered as Africa Foundation) is a future where the communities we partner with are (i) actively advocating for, and supporting, the restoration and conservation of the wild landscapes and seascapes we’re working in; and (ii) deriving meaningful socio-economic benefit from these areas.
Wild Impact currently works in 11 landscapes and seascapes situated in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya, and are expanding to work in additional landscapes and seascapes in Africa, South Asia and South America. It works in close collaboration with &Beyond, with a shared Impact Vision guiding and shaping the development and implementation of all projects.

To support the growth in Wild Impact’s conservation and sustainable development impact, it is recruiting a UK based Senior Partnerships Manager, who will be responsible for developing and implementating a UK and W. Europe focused fundraising drive. Expectation is that the successful individual will be able to increase our existing annual fundraising level of ~$750,000 by an additional ~$ 750,000 by 2026, and thereafter increase their personal fundraising contribution by at least 20% per annum.
The successful applicant will report jointly to the Wild Impact South Africa CEO and the Trustees of Africa Foundation (UK) and work closely with the worldwide Wild Impact Fundraising and Partnerships team.
KEY OUTPUTS:
Development and management of a UK and W. Europe based fundraising and partnerships strategy that will enable the implementation of the shared Wild Impact and &Beyond Impact strategy, including:
o The drafting and submission of all project profiles and grant applications.
o Development and dissemination of all donor and partner communications.
o The delivery and progressive improvement of all donor and partner reports.
o Actively engaging with all donors and partners, which will include significant regional and international travelling.
o Representing Wild Impact at Fundraising events and relevant conferences and workshops focused on Conservation and Rural Community Development.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum of a Graduate degree.
- Good understanding of biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and sustainable rural development.
- Proven experience in developing, leading and nurturing fundraising strategies, including individual, corporate, government, bilateral agency and foundation partnerships.
- Proven ability to establish and nurture Impact partnerships.
- Excellent communication, Information Technology, and financial management skills.

This is a varied and exciting communications role which sits in the fast-paced High Value Operations team in the Income and Engagement directorate. In the role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the High Value Fundraising teams and beyond to lead on writing high value funding proposals, impact reports, event collateral and other impact focussed donor communications (£100,000+). You’ll be working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to gather the information you need to demonstrate impact for our donors – including major donors, trusts and corporate partners.
Working to briefs provided by fundraising relationship managers, you’ll use your knowledge of the organisation to create compelling and emotive narratives tailored to the donor, putting the stories of people affected by dementia at the heart of your proposals and reports. Your written work will engage supporters and encourage donations towards projects being delivered across Alzheimer’s Society. In the role, you’ll also review the written work of colleagues and feedback about how they can be strengthened in line with a set of quality principles.
Impact Comms is a close-knit, dynamic, virtual team who have the opportunity to get together face to face at least once a quarter. You’ll work closely alongside one other Impact Communications Officer and the two Managers in Impact Communications. And as part of the wider High Value Operations team, you’ll be empowering fundraising teams to deliver a first-class experience to their supporters.

Role Description
The Finance Lead’s role is to provide LHBT’s financial functions.
Contract term:Part time permanent, as either a contractor or employee as appropriate, expected to be 4 days per month and an additional 2 days per quarter for quarterly reporting purposes.

Responsibilities:
-To manage the monthly financial activities, including raising sales invoices and credit control, processing supplier invoices and payment runs, payroll and pensions, and HMRC submissions for PAYE/NI, VAT (LHBT is registered for VAT but unable to recover VAT on non-business activities) and Gift Aid. LHBT currently uses QuickBooks for its accounting, including the storing of supporting documentation.
-To complete year-end transactions on QuickBooks and manage the annual process with the external Accountant/Independent Examiner for the preparation and sign-off of LHBT’s accounts.
-To provide the Secretariat function for the Finance & Risk Committee (F&RC, a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees).

The Head of Campaigns By You leads the CBY department, crafting plans and supporting the team to run impactful national and local campaigns launched by supporters and partner organisations, which aim to shape the country to be fair, respectful and sustainable. This role oversees the development, outreach and growth of our CBY platform to ensure that we’re giving the best possible support to petition starters and attracting a growing number of petition starters and partner organisations who share our values.
The Head of Campaigns By You must overview and lead the CBY team’s campaign outputs and the performance of the tech platform to ensure organisational health and sustainability. They manage risk, and are the escalation point for moderation decisions on what we host. They balance the CBY campaign team’s campaign portfolio to ensure that it’s engaging thousands of supporters and fundraising effectively in order to create political impact – and they lead the team to collaborate across the wider function and organisation. This is not a hands off role, you’ll be expected to lead the team by example.

1.Background:
The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) promotes evidence-informed equitable, inclusive and sustainable development. We support the generation and effective use of high-quality evidence to inform decision-making and improve the lives of people living in poverty in low- and middle-income countries (L&MICs).
We provide guidance and support to produce impact evaluations and associated formative evaluations; systematic reviews and syntheses, evidence gap maps and support for using that evidence in decision-making and capacity development. Our work encompasses a wide range of topics, sectors and themes, including but not limited to health, nutrition, education, agriculture, governance, microfinance, climate change, humanitarian interventions, and social protection.
3ie is registered as a non-governmental organization in the United States. It has offices in New Delhi, London and Washington, DC.
1.1 About RCC:
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) has been established to commission and manage research to enhance development and foreign policy impact. The RCC provides support to FCDO teams for commissioning and delivering high-quality and impactful research. It addresses challenges associated with research bureaucracy, as highlighted by the Independent Review of Research Bureaucracy, by providing a streamlined process for commissioning and delivering FCDO-funded research.
2. Summary:
The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) invites applications for the position of Finance Manager at the Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). This is an important position, and the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the efficient use of funds for research projects and programs.
3. Key Responsibilities:
3.1 Financial Management of RCC program:

Manages RCC financial operations including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.

Reviews monthly results against budgets with the program team and implements monthly variance reporting.

Develops and implements financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient and effective financial management within the RCC program

Designs, implements and manages processes to develop financial forecasts and reviews the variances from forecasts against actuals with the program team to take corrective action.

Implements internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Provides expertise in assessing Value for Money from the Economy perspective across the RCC and at the project-level. Acts as a Value for Money champion for the RCC.

4.1 Education & Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field – master's degree preferred.

8+ years of experience in project finance with the minimum of 3 years of financial and budget management experience.

Relevant experience working in a similar finance role in one of the following sectors: charities, NGOs, international development, higher education or research institutions. Strong working knowledge of FCDO financial management policies, procedures and practices is a must.

Experience working with and integrating various financial systems and software programs such as Sage Intacct, with high degree of competency in MS Excel and other accounting packages

Experience in the development of financial systems and processes

Experience in creating, analysing, and presenting financial information in an accessible way, to senior management, staff members and donors

Mary Dinah Foundation (“MDF”) is the largest NGO in the world preventing malnutrition in local communities through the distribution of specialized nutritious foods. The Foundation provides emergency food relief and water sanitation, improves access to healthcare for infants and pregnant women, protects women and girls from gender-based violence, enhances education for refugees, and offers mental health support to individuals affected by conflict-induced displacement. As recipients of ongoing multi-million-dollar grants, we are at an exciting juncture and are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Lead with a solid track record in personally securing 6 – 7 figure grants from new donors, whether government, institutional, INGOs, and/or large trusts and foundations, to join our team. This role is on track to Chief Operating Officer (COO), contingent on exceptional performance and results.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to:
- Conduct prospect research to identify and qualify high-quality new donor leads for MDF and proactively track and respond to large funding opportunities and RFPs, helping us continuously build and enhance our prospect pipeline.
- Carry out detailed research and mappings to identify existing links with potential donors, whether through our leadership, Board, donors, etc., and recommend pathways to relationship building.
- Lead and manage the full proposal development process - from identification of the funding opportunity and detailed review of eligibility/suitability to assess our likelihood of success, through to creating buy-in around responsibilities and timelines, motivating and organizing internal stakeholders, guiding players through every step in the proposal process, gathering inputs from technical leads, working with finance teams on budget development, creating supplementary materials, to rolling up your sleeves and writing the proposal and supporting documents as required (Theories of Change, Risk Matrices, Log Frames, etc.).
- Deliver significant funding from new donors (candidates will be expected to show evidence of winning funding of a minimum of 6 figures).
- Create high-quality fundraising materials tailored to the needs of specific donor audiences (e.g., concept notes, slide decks, etc.)
About You
You have a deep passion for using your skills in leveraging funding to make the world a better, more equitable place, and an ability to balance big picture, strategic thinking, and design with getting tangible activities operationalized. Specifically:
- You are an exceptional writer, with an ability to produce compelling proposals tailored to the specific needs and interests of different donors. These might be technical, institutional bids requiring ToCs, logframes, etc., ‘Big Bet’ pitches relying on powerful storytelling, or applications to large foundations.
- Sitting within a growing team, you are nonetheless comfortable working autonomously (with the role being majority remote) while building the connections needed across our global team to get the information you need to raise funds for MDF.
- You are comfortable working in an organization that is fast-paced and experiencing significant growth. You show flexibility and resilience as structures, processes, and ways of working evolve.
- You are confident in managing competing priorities while meeting both internal and external deadlines and flexible enough to juggle your work where opportunities come in at the last minute.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to effectively tell our story and market our offerings in a compelling way, engaging partners and donors, and inspiring them to support MDF.
Experience and Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fundraising role(s), with a preference for experience in institutional, trust/foundation, and/or Big Bet philanthropy, and evidence of personal track record in bringing in new funding.
- Experience working for an international development NGO is desirable, particularly in the space of Nutrition, Maternal and Infant Health, SGBV, and/or women and girls’ rights more broadly.
- Willingness to join the team in the local office ideally one day per week and for occasional international travel (1-2 weeks per year).

About You
We are seeking an expert on international nature and climate policy and practice, including on global treaties and negotiations, to lead our growing international work programme at The Wildlife Trusts.
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable strategic lead to oversee our international work programme across The Wildlife Trusts. Reporting to the Director of Climate Change and Evidence, the postholder will lead on developing our linkages to international treaties and programmes on nature and climate, including the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Convention on Biological Diversity and IUCN. Overview
The Senior Programme Officer - Development & Advocacy will play a vital role in advancing the HAMRAH initiative and strengthening the resilience of cohort organisations through fundraising, research, joint policy advocacy, communication, and capacity development. This position requires a dynamic and caring professional with experience working with Global South CSOs, as well as the passion and empathy to drive strategic initiatives, build partnerships, and amplify programmatic impact. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HAMRAH's partner cohort organisations (10 CSOs in exile), mentors, the advisory board, and other key stakeholders. The right post holder will be comfortable responding to the needs of a cohort of organisations whose priorities may change, which can lead to working in ways that require flexibility. There will be opportunities to explore, discuss and debate new ideas and consider how the latest research could benefit the cohort of organisations.

Job Description
Fundraising and Grant Writing: Work with the Programme Director to identify funding opportunities, lead the drafting and reviewing of proposals, concept notes, and grant applications for the HAMRAH initiative and its cohort organisations. Monitor funding trends and donor priorities to develop tailored and compelling proposals.
Policy and Joint Advocacy: Support HAMRAH and cohort organisations in designing and implementing targeted joint advocacy campaigns, including strategy and messaging development. Help facilitate policy dialogue and engagement with relevant stakeholders, including government officials, donors, and civil society networks, to advance the priorities of HAMRAH and its cohort organisations.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform programme strategies, advocacy efforts, and policy development. This includes helping produce briefing papers, reports, and articles with clear recommendations based on HAMRAH’s work and evidence. Also monitor emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in Afghanistan and other exiled communities across Global South to ensure programming remains responsive, relevant and impactful.
Communication and Reporting: Lead the development of newsletters and other digital communication materials to showcase HAMRAH’s achievements and cohort organisations’ work. If needed and approved by cohort, coordinate digital engagement strategies, including website updates and social media campaigns, to enhance HAMRAH visibility and outreach. Lead the drafting of narrative and financial reports to donors.
Capacity Development: support assessment of capacity-building needs of cohort organisations and develop tailored training plans to address identified gaps. When needed, provide technical support to cohort organisations to strengthen their operational and programmatic capacities.
Learning and Exchange: Support the planning and execution of online and in-person cross-learning exchange workshops with partner organisations in the Global South. Facilitate opportunities for collaboration and collective learning, and help establish global solidarity networks, platforms, and resources to enhance knowledge-sharing among cohort organisations.

Required

At least 5 years of experience in programme support across fundraising, joint advocacy, partnership, research and capacity development, particularly in the non-profit or international development sectors.

Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge that could have been gained through lived experiences or informal learning.

Demonstrated experience in grant writing and successfully developing funding proposals for institutional donors, foundations, or multilateral agencies.

Previous experience in policy dialogue, joint advocacy and policy development, particularly engaging with government stakeholders, donors, and civil society networks.
