This new Project Worker role will support the delivery of a varied range of projects across our young people services, also offering opportunities to contribute to the development of exciting, new, youth-led initiatives. As part of your role as Project Worker, you will support in the development and delivery of our young people’s website, Shore, as well as providing non-judgemental and anonymous advice and support via our chat and email service.

The primary role is to provide the mother with emotional, physical, moral, and educational support. The successful candidate will train as a Doula (if not already trained) and will assist, support and work in collaboration with the Midwife and a wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) in order to provide a safe and holistic, trauma informed approach to person centred care.
Elayos Doulas do not advise, but take time to get to know their clients. They provide support to enable women to make informed decisions about their maternity care, filling a role that parents and families have always needed. The doula is there to listen, empower and not judge. Offering flexible, practical and emotional support in homes as well as in hospitals. There is a requirement to assist a caseload of clients, support different kinds of births and parenting choices and to have periods of being ‘on call’ for births.

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in two of our schools in Hackney and Highbury currently delivering our Gateway programme and moving to our new Accelerate programme next school year.

What we can offer
Salary and pension
The salary range for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.
Annual leave
You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles). We usually close between Christmas and New Year without this time coming off your annual leave allowance.

We are seeking a Manager to run our Day Centre and oversee the Food Bank and Goodsell House, our 10 bedded supportive housing unit

Key Responsibilities

About the oppurtunity:
You will help drive the quality and impact of our key stage 2 (KS2) and key stage 4 (KS4) maths tutoring programmes through subject-specific training of volunteer tutors, and by advising and supporting our (mostly) non-teaching staff members who manage these volunteer tutors day to day.

Supporting the delivery of our maths curriculum:

Job Description
Strategy and planning
- Work with the Head of Advice to develop and deliver an operational plan to support delivery of the strategic priorities, which is measured, monitored and reported up to the CEO and Board of Trustees.
- Co-ordinate activities, procedures and systems so as to promote the common policies and practices with the appropriate advice services.
- Ensure that the strategy is accessible to and understood by all staff and volunteers and they know the role they play in achieving our goals.
Risk management and compliance
- Regularly review the risks to which the charity is exposed to relating to Advice Services and provide assurance that systems or procedures are in effective operation to manage those risks.

Staying Put are proud to lead this partnership of 5 exceptional providers of domestic abuse services; Leeds Domestic Violence Service represented by Leeds Women’s Aid and Behind Closed Doors, WomenCentre, Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership and Wakefield Domestic Abuse Service.
We are now looking to set up our team of dedicated and passionate Family Court IDVAs. There are vacancies at all partners for this post, the salary will be the same across the partnership, however the terms and conditions may vary.
The locations for this role will be Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds or Wakefield. You will be employed by one of the above organisations and be based in one location, however there is the need for flexibility and expectation of travel across all areas, at times.
About the role
This role will play a crucial part in supporting individuals, families and children through the family court process as part of the Pathfinder programme. Working as part of a strong multi-agency team across the courts of West Yorkshire, you will ensure the voice of the survivor informs every stage of the process. Using a client-led and trauma-informed approach, this role provides high-quality advocacy support to survivors of domestic abuse.
