About the role

We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and driven person to join the team as a Coach within the Structured Coaching team. You will deliver high quality coaching that enables members to achieve their goal of sustainably ending their homelessness by providing flexible, planned, person-centred support including access to housing, employment and the appropriate learning and skills development both internally and through access to community-based specialist services. You will hold a holistic view of a member's journey with us as part of our "one worker, one member' lead working approach.

About the role 

As one of the Lead Worker you will play a role in supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by providing assessment, coaching advice and advocacy, whilst linking individuals into services that provide support. This role will also provide support to the facilitation of the Winter Night Shelter 2025, including ensuring that service users accessing the night shelter have an opportunity to resolve their homelessness sustainably.

The key to success will be your ability to make collaborative, consistent and psychologically informed relationships with services, colleagues, and partner organisations. You will have the ability to empower and upskill service users to be proactive in their accommodation search. You will provide support with practical aspects of their route out of homeless, including access to housing, benefits, and other relevant needs. You will Lead Work a caseload and provide effective case management in line with the Crisis Case Management Framework.

Skills, knowledge, and experience vital to succeeding in this role:

• Passionate about and dedicated to ending homelessness.   

• Comprehensive understanding and experience of accessing housing via private rented sector, local authorities, housing associations, supported providers and others.   

• Good knowledge of issues affecting homeless people, including housing, welfare issues, trauma, substance use, involvement in criminal justice services, and social isolation  

• Proven track record of successfully using coaching, IAG or psychologically informed approaches with people who have experience homelessness.  

• Skills and experience in partnership working and networking.

• Flexible and adaptable to change.  

• Strong team player, able to use own initiative and reflect on your own practice.  

• Previous experience in the voluntary or statutory sector with a focus on working alongside marginalised people or groups.

• Holding a caseload of people who are sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness through eviction, where their substance and/or alcohol use has impacted on their housing and ability to sustain accommodation
• To actively promote and work in a way which encourages harm reduction
• To work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes are achieved, safeguarding is shared and to increase the persons access to support services.
• Increase the total number of people accessing structured treatment & recovery through a bespoke pathway for rough sleepers as well as sustain treatment for these individuals, reduce harm, and support bespoke planned treatment exits or transitions into community-based services (continuity of care).
• Reducing barriers of accessing Primary Healthcare services, such as GP registration, attending hospital appointments and specialist health services by advocating for and supporting clients.
• Attending and coordinating client related MDT’s and attendance at meetings relating to the rough sleeping community
• You will promote and deliver Naloxone training & distribution to those on your caseload 
• You have excellent communication skills and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people, including external services.
• You will support the development of the service and ensure that you are delivering a solution-focussed and strength-based approach.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced responsive repairs professional who understands the multiple disciplines required to deliver this fast-paced area of the business, to join our small, but supportive, Housing & Neighbourhoods Team working on all aspects of repairs and maintenance. It is an interesting and varied role for an engaging, solution-focused person, with a passion for providing these types of services across ISHA portfolio and help keep our residents homes well maintained, and someone who wants to add value within an organisation.

You will bring your knowledge and experience by providing advice and support to various stake holders, staff and residents by keeping ISHA service and maintenance records up to date and be able to demonstrate a robust repairs and maintenance service is being maintained. You should be a resilient, professionally curious person, who is enthusiastic about a career in the Social Housing.

You will work closely with the Head of Assets and Repairs in a generalist capacity, to support with continuous improvement across all service areas, while helping to support and achieve our organisational objectives.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Coaching and advising Building Surveyors, Disrepair Coordinator and currently four repairs’ advisors.
• Ensuring that robust monitoring, reporting, and forecasting systems are in place.
• Contributing to the budget plan and compiling budget/KPI reports monthly, managing budgets for responsive repairs ensuring effective use of funds.
• You will be responsible for the delivery of our repairs and maintenance service to our residents’ homes ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved and KPIs are being met by our supply chain.
• To contract manage the repairs and maintenance contractors and all other contracts associated with the delivery of these services delivering excellent customer service and value for money.
• Ensuring that robust monitoring, reporting, and forecasting systems are in place and data is kept updated.
• Establish communication links for communal repairs keeping residents informed of outages and reinstatement of service ie lifts.

The Merton Social Prescribing service is one of the most established and mature services in the UK and is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year. We are seeking an individual to join our successful service in Southwest London. This role will help to strengthen the links between Primary Care, voluntary and public services to improve patients’ health and wellbeing. 

You will provide a person centred service to patients within Primary Care GP practices in Merton, and you will also support each patient to access appropriate services provided by voluntary and community organisations and other agencies. 

Social prescribing expands the options available in Primary Care by creating a ‘managed’ way for referrals of patients with social, emotional and/or practical needs. The Role 

The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility.

About You 

We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing.

We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a west London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the implementation of the café, including the setup, adherence to food and health safety and regulations, and staffing.

About the Role

The focus of the job is the provision of efficient, effective office management and administration and business support to the London Region of Depaul’s service delivery. This is an exciting role in our Immigration Team that will work closely with the team to ensure that the centre is able to provide confidential OISC Level 2 and 3 advice and representation, whilst providing support and training to colleagues working at Level 1.  The role is pivotal in providing highly skilled legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients across London at no cost to the individual. This is particularly important at a time where free or low-cost advice is becoming harder to find.

As the Service Manager for our night shelter service, you’ll be at the heart of Glass Door’s mission, delivering the largest network of night shelters in the UK.  This pivotal role offers you the chance to make a real difference by managing a dedicated team across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality, consistent service that supports our guests to build a route out of homelessness.  We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive leader with a passion for problem-solving and a compassionate service delivery.

What you will do as part of our team

The Service Manager is responsible for the following:

Service delivery 

· Lead all aspects of the planning, preparation, and delivery of the night shelter service. 

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, directly engaging with staff and guests to ensure high-quality service delivery. 

· Ensure operational policies are consistently followed, providing guests with a reliable and uniform service experience. 

· Manage the rota across three night shelters to maintain adequate staffing at all times. 

· Manage a fleet of three vehicles used for the night shelters, ensuring their availability and maintenance. 

· Ensure all staff are fully aware of service provisions, requirements, and expectations. 

· Lead the continuous improvement of the shelter service to better meet guest needs. 

· Ensure due diligence is performed, and that reporting and records are accurately maintained.

· Liaise with casework colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration between night shelter and casework staff.
