We seek an Advice Coordinator and IAA supervisor IAA L2 (IAA L3 desirable), or solicitor with equivalent qualifications for an exciting position leading partnership projects with Shelter, London Youth Gateway, and the East London Foundation Trust Mental Health Services.  The post holder will manage and supervise a team of IAA level 1 and 2 immigration advisors providing specialist immigration advice and casework to migrants at risk in London. You will play a key role in coordinating service delivery, including advice drop-ins and outreach visits in mental health settings.

You will engage with carers via various channels - phone, email, text, face-to-face, and group settings - ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. This is a multi-faceted role that blends frontline casework with community engagement and strategic development.
 
Main responsibilities of the role include:
 
Direct Support to Carers: 

• Deliver comprehensive carer assessments in line with the Care Act 2014, and co-produce tailored support plans
• Identify and assess eligibility for Carers Personal Budgets and assist with the application process
• Provide accurate and empathetic information, advice, and guidance on carers’ rights, benefits (e.g. PIP, Carer’s Allowance, Attendance Allowance), housing, and local services
• Act as a listening ear and a source of emotional reassurance for carers navigating challenges and crises
• Liaise with Local Authorities, NHS providers, and voluntary agencies to advocate for carers and coordinate support
• Make appropriate referrals and ensure follow-ups are completed

Identification and Outreach: 

• Lead proactive outreach efforts to identify new carers, particularly those from underrepresented or vulnerable communities
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with GPs, hospitals, primary care teams, and community organisations
• Raise awareness of unpaid carers and the charity’s services through campaigns and community presence
• Contribute to the development of internal strategies and external policies that reflect the needs and voices of carers

Administration & Case Management:

• Maintain high-quality records using internal systems (Charity Log) and the Mosaic Local Authority database
• Register new carers and ensure timely updates to service user records
• Prepare case summaries and contribute to internal and external reports for management, commissioners, and funders
• Ensure data compliance, confidentiality, and GDPR adherence at all times

Team & Organisational Development:

• Act as a lead on specific areas of knowledge (e.g., benefits, outreach) and share expertise across the team

We're Hiring: Advocates - London Stalking Support Service, Stalking Threat Assessment Centre and National Advocacy
In partnership with MOPAC, this specialist role is your chance to support victims of stalking with expert advice and advocacy for London, all while hlping to shape a trauma-informed, survivor-led approach that leads the sector.  The Stalking Threat Assessment centre is a multi-agency partnership involving the Metropolitan Police, NHS mental health services and Probation services to effectively manage stalking perpetrators and support victims.  Advocates within this team are co-located within the STAC unit, minimum one day a week.

We are recruiting for a talented Benefits and Debt Worker who has a background in supporting women or children who have experienced domestic violence to make a genuine difference to the lives of survivors. About the role:

The Early Help IDVA will be co-located within Brent Early Help and will help raise the team’s awareness, identification and response to those experiencing domestic abuse, the post holder will jointly work with Early Help Practitioners on cases to support service users and improve partnership responses.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children. The post holder will understand children’s social care and care proceedings. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved with Children’s Social Services and Early Help, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

About You:

To be successful as the Early Help IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:

A thorough understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.

Experience of working with social care agencies or in a social care setting.

Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a

The Senior Licensing Officer (SLO) will support the Licensing Manager with ensuring charity and network contract compliance, which includes policy management, contract updates, supporting procedures and IT infrastructure, and associated reporting.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day work of our innovative Hearing Voices Projects. To be successful in this role, you need to have an in-depth understanding of the Hearing Voices Movement and the role of peer support groups within this. You will ideally have experience of supervising or mentoring volunteers and some project management experience.

With the confidence and organisational skills necessary to take the lead on busy and diverse projects, you will be required to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (from the adult mental health, prison, forensic and youth sectors). As such, this role is best suited to someone who is flexible enough to modify their approach to suit the situation.

We are looking for someone with strong facilitation skills who is able to deliver and design training that communicates the values of the Hearing Voices Network clearly and accessibly.

Among other tasks, you will be required to:

• Oversee the current Hearing Voices Projects to ensure they are consistent and embody the Mind in Camden and Hearing Voices Movement ethos.
• Be part of some of the frontline work, including facilitating groups.

Key Responsibilities

· To act as the managerial point of contact between the Trust’s Grantees & the Trust ensuring programme materials up to date.

· To create documentation linked to grant programmes, such as Applications, Review Templates, Scoring Matrix and Grant Agreements.

· Build & manage positive “listening & learning” relationships with organisational grant applicants.

· Help ensure BGET learns from best practice delivery, and identify, recognize & respond to issues or opportunities as they arise.
