Job description

Purpose of your role:
To support the staff and volunteers carrying out practical habitat management by ensuring tools and equipment required to complete the work are maintained in a good state of repair.

• Maintaining and repairing a range of hand tools and other Warwickshire Wildlife Trust owned resources in accordance with good working practice.
• Sharpening tools
• Helping maintain a safe, tidy and efficient workshop
• To adhere to WKWT Health & Safety, Policies and Procedures. Liaise with the Reserves Officer regarding any problems arising as soon as is practicable
• Keeping a record of spare parts & materials required
• Keeping a record of maintenance being carried out
• Liaising with the Reserves Officers for any parts or materials that need ordering
