About us
Who we are
Medaille Trust supports and empowers survivors of modern slavery, trafficking and exploitation. We do this in a number of ways, from offering safe accommodation, to offering support both in our safehouses and out in the community on our Moving on Projects. Our work also includes advocacy and awareness raising in the UK, and prevention and advocacy in Albania. All our work embodies a commitment to personalised support, recognising the dignity and agency of our service users and empowering them on a path to a life that is free from slavery and exploitation.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Vision is that the Medaille Family is an Inclusive Community in which every participant feels respected, valued, trusted, safe, has a sense of belonging and can be their best self and do their best work for the benefit of society.
We will create and maintain inclusive communities in which the diversity and unique contributions of our staff, trustees and volunteers are recognised and valued and facilitated. Communities in which every employee, Trustee, volunteer or self-employed contractor is treated with dignity and respect, and in which any negative treatment, including intimidation, bullying or harassment will be challenged.
