Frontline has achieved significant growth and impact in our first 11 years, and we are looking for a qualified and experienced finance leader to head up Frontline’s finance and compliance function and ensure we are well positioned to continue to grow and drive change for children and families. We’re in a strong position, have a clear strategy, stable finances and strong internal processes but we remain ambitious.
This is an exciting opportunity with a breadth of responsibility and will require collaborative working with the senior leadership team (SLT) and Board of Trustees. With a ~£25m budget and ~146 employees we need robust systems, clear financial strategy and expert financial leadership to support the organisation to achieve our mission. Reporting to the director of culture and operations, you will lead on ensuring Frontline has an outstanding and proactive finance and compliance function, with robust systems and high-performing people.
You will lead the finance and compliance team, covering the areas of finance, legal, governance, IT and compliance (including data protection). The role provides an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to set and deliver on strategic goals, and you will be responsible for setting clear direction for the finance and compliance team.
The finance and compliance team sits within the culture and operations directorate (see structure chart), which supports Frontline’s teams to achieve our mission by delivering operational efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability. The head of finance and compliance is a senior position with a wide remit of responsibility, so we need a highly driven individual to provide critical support to the entire organisation.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Finance – Lead the organisation’s financial strategy, planning and budgeting processes, advise senior leadership and trustees on financial consequences and manage the Finance Manager to sustain a high-performing team culture
- Legal, governance, IT and compliance– Manage the Legal and Compliance Manager to effectively respond to requests for advice, manage/support the IT and Facilities Officer to establish the systems and processes to meet regulatory requirements as well as effectively respond to requests for advice.
- Leadership – Play a proactive role as a member of the Leadership Group (Frontline’s Heads/Directors and champion high performance and model our culture of Freedom and Responsibility

A little bit about you
You will be responsible for providing sound financial oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a high-performing team. A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with significant experience in financial management, you should have a strong understanding of charity finance, risk management, and governance.
This role requires exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-specialists. About the role
We are looking for a values-led, senior People professional to provide maternity cover for the role of our Senior People & Culture Manager. The successful postholder will be responsible for providing high quality generalist People & Culture services at SafeLives, in conjunction with a People & Culture Officer. The role will oversee the smooth running of key HR operations and will be instrumental in building a culture amongst our employees that reflects our values through the provision of excellent People support.
As part of a small, ambitious team you will provide a range of comprehensive, and customer orientated human resources services which support the implementation of SafeLives’ People & Culture strategy. You will be the lead operational HR professional, supported by the Director of People and Culture on strategic matters and a full- time People & Culture Officer on transactional matters, and access to external legal and HR consultancy support when needed. There will be a strong focus on supporting the embedding and development of our culture and behaviours; employee engagement; learning and development, and staff well-being across the organisation.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Job Summary
Advance’s Head of Domestic Abuse (DA) services leads the organisation’s DA services across London. Working alongside the Director of DA Services, the head of DA is responsible for developing and delivering high quality services in line with Advance’s strategic aims. Externally, she will build strong relationships with voluntary and statutory partners and funders, amplifying the needs of our service users and promoting systems change. Internally, she will ensure domestic abuse staff are supported and motivated, as well as acting as part of Advance’s senior management team, contributing to the organisation’s overall strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Planning and Development
As part of the Senior Management Team, be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the annual strategic plan for Advance’s domestic abuse services.
Working closely with the Business Development team drive the development of services, contributing to bid development and tendering for services.
Be instrumental in raising the profile of Advance and in developing and sustaining partnerships, including leading the Angelou Partnership to deliver the programme’s objectives and impact.
External Stakeholders and Systems Change
Represent Advance and work with government and statutory agencies, and other community organisations; develop, maintain and review protocols with partner agencies.
Be active in network and partnership meetings, raising awareness of our services and identifying gaps to influence new service development. Maintain and develop relations with appropriate authorities, agencies, organisations and individuals, in consultation with the Director of Services.
Service Management and Leadership
Be a proactive and solution-focused member of Advance’s Senior Management Team. Contribute and participate in organisational planning, events, and fundraising activities.
Manage a complex workload working independently, within a team where appropriate and problem-solving proactively to find solutions to systems and issues.
Line manage senior staff, including annual appraisals, supervision, professional development, and performance management. Instil a sense of unity and purpose into the work of the service through effective leadership, regular team meetings and review of team performance.
High quality services to women and children
Implement and monitor quality assurance systems for all services including contract compliance and overseeing accreditation for our services.
Working with the Learning and Development Manager oversee the development of a consistent approach to programme training relevant to team and individual development needs. Ensure Advance’s DA services are high quality and workloads are manageable. Ensure that risk is well managed across all services, including safeguarding of women and children. Ensure effective systems are in place which capture relevant information and demonstrate the impact of all services, ensuring they are compliant with funders’ requirements
Oversee the development of operational plans for existing and new work and managing effective change within services.
Partnerships and funders’ management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners in the delivery of services, influential decision-makers and commissioners, upholding Advance’s reputation at all tend and communicate outcomes of regular strategic and operational meetings at London level in consultation with the Director of Services and Head of EA&P, as well as programme review meetings with funders and partners.
With support from the Evidence and Insights team, oversee reporting of service outcomes to commissioners and funders, ensuring any performance issues or challenges are identified and addressed.
Financial management
Manage programme budgets to a high standard, including agreeing and implementing solutions and action plans where variances and issues are identified. Ensure that funder’s requirements are met for all services and that Advance comply with monitoring returns
and statistics are available promptly for monitoring returns to funders and the board.

The Southover Partnership is a specialist independent school that provides high-quality education, and pastoral support to children with social, emotional and mental health needs, autism and other complex needs.
The Outreach Service provides tailored one-to-one tuition and support for young people with EHCPs who are not able to attend school for various reasons. These sessions take place at pupils’ homes or in local venues such as libraries.
Job Purpose
We are looking to appoint a qualified, passionate, enthusiastic, and visionary leader with experience of managing provision for vulnerable young people. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, a thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures, and exceptional organisational skills. They will also have an understanding of how to support pupils with SEND and experience managing a team.
The role will predominantly involve building and coordinating the academic and pastoral provision for vulnerable pupils, leading the Outreach staff team, liaising with colleagues within our partnership, as well as with LAs, other schools, and parents/carers.
The person will be responsible for the management of the Southover Outreach Service. The main expectations of the role are to:
- Lead and further develop a high-quality Outreach Service, coordinating the day-to-day operation and specific provision of support for pupils.
- Review and assess student referrals to identify pupils for whom we can meet need, signpost them to the most appropriate provision within Southover Partnership, and arrange appropriate transitions/inductions as required.
- Maintain and monitor the strategic overview of the provision for Outreach pupils, ensuring their needs are being met.
- Review curriculum, planning, and teaching for Outreach pupils to ensure that teachers, tutors, and TAs are providing the most appropriate curriculum and delivering it effectively.
- Provide guidance, training, and direction to the Outreach staff members as required.
- Analyse assessment and other progress data for pupils, using this to direct further development and actions by staff members.
- Take part in Annual Reviews, parent/carer meetings, and target setting/review meetings for Outreach pupils.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities
Strategic Improvement
The Deputy Head of Southover Outreach Service is responsible for:

- The management of the budget for the service.
- Devising a team structure to meet the needs of pupils.

- Designing and organising relevant staff training.
Operational
- Managing the process of matching pupils to staff members who can best support them.
- Monitoring and evaluating teachers’ subject knowledge, the quality of teaching, and pupils’ achievement; challenging underperformance at all levels and ensuring effective follow-up action.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with SEND leaders.
- Ensuring that there are sufficient high-quality staff available to meet the needs of our pupils.
- Producing relevant leadership/management information for the Executive Headteacher as and when required.
- Delivering relevant training to Outreach staff.
- Working with the Executive Headteacher of the Southover Partnership and within the Southover Outreach Service to ensure a consistent and continuous service-wide focus on pupils’ achievement, using data and benchmarks to monitor progress in every child’s learning.
- Developing and maintaining a culture of high expectations for self and others, taking appropriate action promptly when performance is unsatisfactory.
- Developing and presenting a coherent, understandable, and accurate account of the Southover Outreach Service’s performance and impact to a range of audiences including Trustees, schools, parents and carers and local authority staff.
- Capability to serve as the Deputy Head of School at the SPS site, overseeing daily operations in their absence

Job Purpose
The Head of Finance and Operations (HFO) will play a pivotal role as a key member of LinkAble’s Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO and the Head of Services and Quality. The HFO will lead the finance function, providing strategic insight, producing accurate financial reports, and pricing new contracts and tenders. This role is supported by a Finance Assistant and involves line management of the Recruitment and Retention Manager. Additionally, the HFO will oversee external HR and IT advisors to ensure the organisation operates efficiently and effectively. The salary is up to £46k FTE pro rata for 4 days.
Finance
- Provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust oversight of all financial operations.
- Produce timely, detailed, and accurate monthly management accounts for the CEO and Finance Committee.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain the Annual Budget, financial forecasts and projections.
- Manage and support a part-time Finance Assistant, while also recruiting and overseeing volunteers or finance trainees to assist with financial transactions.
