Fundraising is still a relatively new activity for DFN Project SEARCH and this role presents the opportunity to play a key part in its expansion to support the further growth of the charity and enable young adults with a learning disability to lead healthier, happier, and more independent lives.
This role will support the Director of Development in implementing DFN Project SEARCH’s fundraising strategy. Roles and Responsibilities
- You will lead on defined elements of Pump Aid’s fundraising strategy: scoping, applications, reporting and management (to largely small to medium sized trusts and foundations, community funders and individuals.)
- You will develop and manage a schedule of compelling communications across a number of channels including social media, web and print that will grow engagement with Beyond Water’s mission.
- You will support the Head of Development to pitch to social impact and philanthropic investors by finding creative ways to differentiate ourselves from traditional approaches to international development.
- You will take responsibility for managing and administrating fundraising income, using Salesforce CRM to keep up to date records of donations, keeping donors updated through regular reports and leveraging annual campaigns including the Big Give Christmas Campaign to maximise individual giving donations.

The role of Senior Philanthropy Executive is instrumental in growing PCUK’s Philanthropy income stream. You will be responsible for generating 5- and 6-figure gifts from trusts, foundations and major donors, through proactive identification of prospects and first-rate stewardship of existing donors. - Manage a portfolio of medium to large sized trusts and major donors

Ideal skills and experience:

As the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships you will pro-actively develop and implement a strategy to grow fundraised income from major donors, corporates and trusts and foundations. You will also manage the legacy marketing programme.
Key responsibilities will include;
Leading on the development and operational delivery of the philanthropy and fundraising partnerships strategy across high value income streams.
- Leading on maintaining relationships with existing high-value donors and funders, through exemplary stewardship
- Overseeing the continued development and growth of a global legacy programme, including the production of legacy mailings, telemarketing, offline and digital advertising.
- Developing and managing a yearly activity plan for the Philanthropy and Fundraising Partnerships team within and agreed budget
- Providing supportive and dynamic line management for members of your team, including facilitating regular supervision meetings and supporting personal development and training
This position would ideally suit a candidate with;
- Excellent knowledge of high-value donor, trusts, corporate and legacy fundraising strategies and activities.
- Comprehensive understanding of fundraising techniques, including audience and donor segmentation, analytical modelling and the use of insight to drive performance.
- Demonstrable experience of managing fundraising or income-generating campaigns, nationally and internationally, including in coalition with other organisations where applicable
- Experience of managing and overseeing high-value giving, legacies, trusts, statutory and corporate fundraising programmes and activities, to maximise income.
- Experience of developing new products/activities and taking them to market.
- Knowledge of global animal welfare, within an international development context would be beneficial
