What does successful Donor Development look like at Travalyst?
Managing Travalyst’s corporate and individual donor base and driving revenue growth through targeted fundraising efforts.
What you’ll get to do:
This role combines soliciting new prospect donors, donor management, partnership development, and data-driven campaign execution. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship building, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement, with a demonstrable passion for Travalyst’s mission of promoting sustainable travel and tourism.
Donor Management (~40%)
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of individual donors, corporate and institutional foundations to secure philanthropic and private funding and advance Travalyst’s mission.
- Identify, solicit, and nurture new donor prospects, ensuring continuous growth of the donor base.
- Strategise with senior leadership to retain and upgrade current donors, including personalised engagement for high-value supporters.
- Support high-value donor and corporate partner meetings, preparing personalised correspondence, proposals and briefs.
Fundraising Strategy, Campaigns, and Event Management (~30%)
- Collaborate with the Partnerships and Development team to plan, execute, and manage proposal development and annual appeal processes for fundraising campaigns, including donor and partner events, direct mail, and corporate initiatives.
- Conduct prospect research for individual donors, foundations, and international government funding sources.
- Oversee the project management and execution of partnership and donor events, ensuring seamless planning, logistics coordination, and delivery to meet revenue and engagement goals.
- Track and report progress on fundraising campaigns and events, providing analysis on key performance indicators and revenue projections.
- Work with the communications team to create compelling materials for donor outreach, event promotion, presentations, and corporate engagement.
- Secure grant funding through research, proposal development, and managing the grant application process.
Donation Administration and CRM Management (~20%)
- Manage the CRM system, ensuring donor and partner data is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively utilised for engagement and reporting.
- Partner with the Operations team to ensure all donations, invoices and tracking is completed in a timely manner with follow up to donors as required.
- Oversee donor reporting, generating data insights and analytics to inform future strategies and donor retention efforts.
- Manage reconciliation processes and ensure development data and financial data are in alignment.
- Collaborate with the team on CRM system training and improvements and support data migration if necessary.
General Administration and Team Support (~10%)
- Provide administrative support to the Partnerships and Development team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing materials for donor presentations.
- Assist with special projects and additional fundraising and partnership tasks as needed.

What skills we’re looking for:
· Experience in fundraising, donor management, or business development, with proven success in partnership building and substantial (ideally 6-7 figure) revenue generation.
· Ideally, Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Nonprofit Management, Business Development, Marketing, or related field.
· Superior communication and writing skills, with the ability to edit text written by others and generate new text; experience in crafting compelling pitches and proposals.
· High proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and data management (experience with donor databases preferred).
· Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines and use project management software (Notion) to plan and track projects and work collaboratively across teams.
· Experience with grant management, writing and corporate engagement strategies.
· Experience with financial reporting and analysis in Excel/Google Suite.
· Strong understanding of sustainability issues, trends and the philanthropy sector, with a track record of aligning donor objectives with environmental and social responsibility.
· Experience working internationally and collaborating with people in diverse cultural and political contexts preferred.
· Ability to work independently and remotely in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.

The opportunity:
Working within the Impact and Investment team, you will support Better Society Capital to manage and leverage impact and system change data, processes and our tools, to enable effective data driven insights to help decision making, drive our strategy and support market building.
The Interim Data & Impact Director will play an important role in defining the way we manage our impact and systems change data by designing workflows and processes to ensure an effective flow of data across our investment process and translating this into impact management information and insight. The role will also help support key impact projects and influence the impact practices of other market players.
What you will do:
Portfolio Data: Impact & Systems Change

Lead on developing our impact and system change data management architecture and infrastructure to create a ‘data-on demand’ environment. This includes designing workflows to collect and receive impact data from fund managers, aggregating with existing portfolio data, and presenting for insights, learning, and decision making, including the creation of data dashboards and other tools.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role
This is a newly created role to shape impact measurement and evaluation at CoppaFeel! and ensure we meet our objective of being insight & impact driven in everything we do. This role will be integral in supporting us achieve our new strategy and deliver upon our recently refreshed Theory of Change, bringing us closer to ensuring all breast cancers in young people are diagnosed early and accurately.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to implement our new monitoring and evaluation framework, leading on the management and development of the framework alongside general impact reporting. This role will be at the heart of establishing a data-driven culture, using both our internal and externally commissioned data to provide insights for decision making across all departments. The outputs from your work will support insight generation to shape our strategy development and future investment decisions alongside improving evaluation practices allowing us to better report on our impact.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
You will report into the Head of Community & Engagement and sit within the Education team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy
- You will support the generation of insights to inform our strategy development and future investment decisions.
- You will support the leadership team to use data and insights to inform departmental planning and review current progress against our strategy.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- You will lead on ensuring all departments are implementing our monitoring and evaluation framework where appropriate, with robust data collection processes set up for all areas of our awareness and education work.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all departments are aligned with and using the monitoring & evaluation Framework to deliver upon our agreed outcomes
- You will take an objective view on how the team is performing in relation to implementing our M&E framework and delivering upon our theory of change across the organisation, providing timely progress reports to the leadership team.
- You will work closely with the leadership team to feed into target setting and reviewing.
Data collection and analysis
- You will make recommendations for streamlining and developing our data collection tools to meet our strategic and compliance requirements.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role
CoppaFeel! is looking for a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager to lead the organisation’s influencing activity, including the development and delivery of an overarching influencing strategy. This is an exciting time to join the team as we refresh and relaunch our policy and public affairs focus.
The Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager will play a pivotal role in positioning CoppaFeel! as a key voice in influencing policies to improve breast cancer education, awareness, diagnosis, and treatment for young people. Through this work, they will help us achieve our mission: ensuring that all breast cancers in young people are diagnosed early and accurately.
The postholder will ensure that CoppaFeel!'s policy and public affairs activities are data- and insight-driven, centring the voices and experiences of young people, those who have had a breast cancer diagnosis, and healthcare professionals. A key focus of this work will be to highlight the health inequities and unique challenges faced by young people—particularly those from underserved groups—and ensure these are reflected in policy development.
The Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager will be based within the Education team and will collaborate closely across the organisation to achieve these objectives.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Policy
- Lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of CoppaFeel!’s influencing strategy aligning it with our EDI commitments
- Research, develop and update evidence-based policy positions on key breast cancer issues which impact people between 18-35, and seek to influence policy development on these positions.

About the role
In this busy role, you will assist in the delivery of legacy marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including digital, telemarketing, legacy events and direct mail, and help to promote gifts in wills to internal audiences too. Policy & Campaigns Officers monitor and respond to policy threats to our human rights frameworks, to our rights to protest and to live free from discrimination. They work with political players and civil servants to steer policy and legislation. They produce high-quality, persuasive content and translate complex legal and policy arguments in a clear and compelling way for mass audiences. They lead and support other human rights and civil society organisations, lending expertise and building solidarity. We have worked with civil society to fight back against the Police, Crimes, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023 and to see off threats to our Human Rights Act.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who brings a collaborative approach to their work. You will have policy and research experience in human rights, or a related field such as the equality sector or social welfare sector. You will have a strong understanding of how to secure policy change in challenging political environments.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to coordinate an 18-month project exploring how we can operationalise a new in-work poverty benchmark for employers in London. This benchmark, developed by the Social Market Foundation, has the potential to improve the lives of low paid workers, building on the success of the Living Wage campaigns
The in-work poverty benchmark project is a new and exciting pilot project at the Living Wage Foundation. We want this person to build a case for employers going further than our existing accreditations and taking a more holistic approach to tackling in work poverty. This role would help us develop the pilot through employer case studies and extensive stakeholder engagement with a view to launching a new vehicle to recognise employers who adopt the in-work poverty benchmark.
Three key parts of the role would be working with:
- Our Membership team and our Operations and Insights team: to scope out and enhance their capacity to support employers to implement the benchmark through e.g. workshops, provision of guidance and /or new ways of working with employers.
- The cross organisational Making London a Living Wage City (MLLWC) team to build upon the successes and networks of this project and align where helpful to encourage London employers to go further
- London based community organisers to ensure that the experiences and stories of low paid workers are a primary driver of the case for change and how we develop this work.
The ideal candidate would be a proactive and experienced project manager with experience of building and implementing new products, projects or services. They should have excellent communication skills and a track record of engaging diverse stakeholders and building a network.
Living Wage Foundation
The Living Wage Foundation was launched in 2011 by Citizens UK to tackle in-work poverty and ensure that workers earn enough to live on and participate in family and community life. Citizens UK is the home of community organising with diverse civil society alliances set up to develop leaders to work on the issues that matter to them, such as the Living Wage. Other projects include Parent Action and Sponsor Refugees to add depth to the impact of Citizens UK’s work.
The Living Wage is a movement of businesses, organisations and people who believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. The real Living Wage is an independently-calculated hourly rate based on the cost of living and announced each October ahead of Living Wage Week, our annual celebration of a growing network of over 15,000 Living Wage Employers.
The Living Wage Foundation celebrates employers that voluntarily choose to pay the real Living Wage through an accreditation scheme that recognises a long-term commitment to fair pay and has secured pay rises for 475,000 low paid workers. Over recent years, the Living Wage Foundation has built on the success of the real Living Wage by creating new responsible employment standards – Living Hours and Living Pension – for those employers who want to go further and provide the security workers need now and in the future.
Main Responsibilities
Contribute to the achievement of the LWF and CUK’s strategic aims
· Work with the Living Wage Foundation team to embed this project into the wider work and strategy of the Foundation, and to identify and share learning from across our projects on how to mobilise employer action to tackle poverty.
Develop and manage external relationships
· Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement plan to support and promote the project.
· Manage strong relationships with the project partners and funders to involve and update them on the project as required.
· Progress our existing partnerships whilst proactively securing new partnerships with organisations that can help promote and build demand for the in-work poverty benchmark.
· Develop a wide-ranging network of stakeholders with an interest in this project, finding ways to involve them in its development.
· Coordinate and manage a project working group of senior Living Wage Employers, in work poverty experts and employee stakeholders.
Build and manage projects and achieve work targets effectively
· Set up, manage and evaluate a set of action pilots with employers, low paid employees and relevant experts to develop and test the in-work poverty benchmark and the standards within it.
· Design and develop the recognition mechanism and support programme for employers who sign up to the in-work poverty benchmark.
· Provide regular progress reports and deliver agreed project milestones including events, reports and other agreed outputs.
· Oversee the project being integrated into our CRM system and developing robust project management systems.
Learning, expertise, wellbeing and inclusion
· Conduct desk research, stakeholder interviews and organise events as required to inform the project. Manage research partners to conduct additional research as required.
· Monitor, review, evaluate and write up pilot progress with each employer using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.
· Working with others to identity and share learning on how to mobilise employer action to tackle poverty, considering this in the development of the in-work poverty benchmark.
· Develop and host employer facing events to gain insight and test appetite to support the development of this work.
· Design and facilitate employer workshops and employee focus groups to identify best practice and shared learning.
· Produce a final report and recommendations for how the work might be taken forward at the conclusion of the project, presenting this to relevant stakeholders.
Communications
· Oversee the collation and dissemination of research and evidence to build the case for the in-work poverty benchmark. Work with the Living Wage Foundation Communications and Research team to enable this.
· Develop the support we offer Living Wage Employers that are interested in implementing the in-work poverty benchmark and lead the production and design of research reports, toolkits, best practice guides and other resources.
· Promote the Living Wage Foundation to build our reputation as a leader in good work practices for low paid workers, including launching research and reports and celebrating progress made.
· Represent the Living Wage Foundation at meetings, events and conference to build awareness and support for our work.
Develop and manage internal relationships:
· Build and manage strong relationships across the LWF and wider Citizens UK teams for effective collaboration and to support development of this work.
· Work closely with community organisers in London to ensure the voices of low paid workers are a leading influence on this project.
· Contribute to the LWF and Citizens UK Senior Management meetings and cross organisational working groups.
Generate income and resources
· Oversee the development and implementation of an employer fee structure for the in-work poverty benchmark vehicle.
· Work with the Head of Business Development and Policy to produce a sustainable fundraising strategy for this work whilst developing relationship with potential funders.
· Oversee the creation of proposals to secure funds from corporate partners and attract funding from grants or donations to support ongoing work.

About the role
The purpose of the direct marketing executive role is to support the charity’s prize-led fundraising activity, which currently consists of two products – the Breast Cancer Now raffle and the Pink Ribbon lottery. Working closely with the direct marketing officers, you will assist in delivering a wide-range of campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, email, telemarketing, digital and face-to-face marketing), which recruit and retain supporters to these products. And, you’ll provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team and the lottery.
The workload is varied and an average day might consist of proof-reading campaign materials, processing invoices, recording campaign results, helping to brainstorm ideas for an upcoming campaign, briefing internal teams, calling a lottery winner, helping to resolve queries, shadowing our face-to-face fundraisers, or writing copy for an email campaign.
