The Fundraising and Communications Assistant is a vital role within the Anne Frank Trust UK, supporting our mission to challenge antisemitism and all forms of prejudice by securing essential funding and raising awareness of our work. In today’s world, our mission is more critical than ever. The rise in antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of hate highlights the urgent need for our work. As the Fundraising and Communications Assistant you will join us as a trainee, with the opportunity to hone your skills as a professional writer and communicator, while playing a crucial role in the team. After an initial six month training and probation period and another six months in post, their will be the opportunity to progress to the role of Fundraising and Communications Officer. From the start, you will help us raise the funds we need to grow and sustain our impact. You will support fundraising efforts across multiple income streams, from grant-making bodies to individual and community giving, as well as assist in the delivery of key fundraising events such as our Annual Lunch.
You will contribute to our external communications, working closely with the Assistant Director (People & Communities) to write engaging content for social media and emails that amplify our reach and inspire supporters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate communicator who wants to grow their skills and is committed to tackling prejudice in all its forms. You will help contribute to a charity transforming young people’s attitudes and lives.

The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support across multiple projects, including our new digital community platform, regional events, and board operations. This role is about keeping things organised, supporting smooth communication, and helping our members and partners engage with our services.
You should be comfortable using digital tools like Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems (CMS) or online platforms as part of your work. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should be confident in navigating systems, keeping records updated, and helping others with basic queries. Key Responsibilities
As Administrative Assistant you will support the organisation by maintaining the digital community platform, assisting members with access, and ensuring content is well-organised and engaging. You will help plan and coordinate regional events, facilitate member engagement, and support outreach efforts. Additionally, you'll provide support to the CEO, maintain project documentation, assist with communications, and handle data entry. The role also includes coordinating board meetings, preparing and distributing papers, taking minutes, and providing administrative support to the Board Chair.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who can take the reins to cover a period of maternity leave. You’ll be responsible for ensuring two directors are fully supported with their busy workload by handling their diary management, fulfilling reporting requirements, preparing meeting documents and taking minutes as well as delivering or supporting on key project work.
This role has a specific focus on manipulating and presenting data for reports, therefore you will need to have excellent Excel skills and Power BI experience would be beneficial. You will be the first point of contact with a wide range of stakeholders including the executive team, trustees and senior executives from external organisations; you will therefore need to uphold high standards of professionalism, be detailed oriented and extremely organised.
Strong administrative skills are essential, together with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, good interpersonal skills and a genuine passion and drive to make a difference to the children and young people we support, so that no child has to face mental health issues alone.
We believe this role could be achieved across 4 or 5 days and welcome applications from people who are interested in working between 28-35 hours. Please note salary will be pro rata if working less than 35hrs a week.

As the Community Food Shop Saturday Supervisor, you can use your people skills, organised nature and attention to detail to help feed people in need and provide a safe and welcoming environment. You will:
- Lead sessions in the shop, serving and praying with customers and supervising and praying with volunteers (40%)
- Ensure a safe and clean environment and equipment to comply with hygiene standards (40%)
- Ensure food is stored and handled safely to minimise waste (10%)

We have a great opportunity for a Major Giving Team Assistant to play a key role within the team, providing administrative and project support to colleagues. The Major Giving Team manages relationships with major and high value donors, trusts and statutory funders, and strategic partners. The Major Giving Team Assistant will be the first port of call for enquiries internally and externally and will have a good overview of the team's activities.
We are looking for a database and spreadsheet whizz who can prove that data isn't scary, and someone who can confidently and proactively manage projects from start to finish. Operations Administrative Coordinator
We are currently seeking an Operations Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive and proactive support to the London Centre Manager. This will high level and effective personal assistant-type and administrative support (diary management, correspondence, distribution of documents, room bookings, minuting meetings etc.) on a day-to-day basis, and to provide a range of administrative support to the Rehoming and Welfare Managers within the Operations Directorate across dog and cat teams during individual projects, events and work programs.

The Advice Service offers a non-judgmental, safe and confidential space for students to seek advice and these Advisors will empower students to make informed choices regarding reporting options and support they wish to access, either through the university or external services.

Job Summary
To provide high quality HR administrative support across the whole employee lifecycle, working towards MHI’s goal of transforming mental health support in the UK and being a great place to work. Working closely with MHI’s People Manager and Head of People and Culture, you will be involved in all aspects of HR, from the day-to-day administration to recruitment and payroll processing. This is a unique opportunity for someone with administration experience who is looking for a role in HR to join a growing mental health charity.
Key duties and responsibilities
HR Administration
- General filing and administration support for People Team
- Administration of personnel records, ensuring everything required is up to date and compliant with statutory requirements (ie Right To Work, background checks)
- Supporting with compliance auditing, payroll administration and HR reporting
- Maintain accurate records on our HR system
- Be the first line of support for HR related queries and incoming tickets on the HR Service Desk, escalating as appropriate
- Complete administration for approvals of new recruitment and payroll authorisations (ie promotions, change of job roles)
- Produce appropriate documentation as required
- Sending communications via MHI’s HR system or other platforms to announce new starters, leavers, vacancies, and any other relevant updates
- Drafting and sending the monthly HR newsletter
- Complete audits on MHI’s HR system and employee records to ensure that the data held is accurate and secure, including supporting with projects to move and accurately record historical employee data to our HR system

Recruitment

- Ensure a value-for-money approach to recruitment ensuring we attract diverse and high quality candidates by using appropriate sources
- Managing incoming applications and liaising with hiring managers for shortlisting
- Administration and liaison with candidates, arranging interviews for managers, ensuring one member of the People Team is on the interview panel.
- Arranging appropriate employee background checks (such as DBS and New Zealand Police Vetting, Reference and Right to Work checks) and supporting the ID check and verification process
- Request new starter paperwork to ensure required payroll information is in place
- Administration of contract, job descriptions and offer letters using an e-signature application
- Having a good knowledge of people processes and policies, ensuring they are followed correctly

- Ensure that all administration is completed for leavers

Person specification
Essential
- Strong administration experience
- Confident with IT and digital systems

MCMW aims to provide information, navigation and support to patients where it is most needed. Our Health and Social Prescribing Co-ordinators are aligned to GP surgeries in our local community and work alongside specialist nurses to provide additional care to older patients.
Each HSPC will care plan for a caseload of patients, contacting individuals at a frequency based upon need and building a relationship over time. With a focus on the wider determinants of health - such as level of physical exercise, social connection and one’s environment - our HSPCs link patients into relevant services and activities that will improve their lives in the longer term.
