You will be a keyholder and be responsible for checking the building during your session, paying attention to Health and Safety, cleanliness and hygiene and supporting the groups/individuals using the centre during your shift.
Punctuality and reliability are essential requirements of this role. Good communication skills (verbal and written) are key skills needed to carry out this role.
You will be responsible for setting up rooms to meet the needs of projects, for stock taking and audits of equipment and resources. You will be involved in supporting the delivery of activities and projects.

About the role:
As a Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will:
- Effectively manage a caseload of service users affected by domestic abuse, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
- Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions
- Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
- Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.
You will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families affected by domestic abuse
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices, in accordance with safeguarding and data protection legislation
- Ability to needs assess, risk assess and empathise with the victim
- Good IT and administrative skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages

Title: Male Live In Support Worker

Responsible for: Young people living in the accommodation (4 young people aged 16 – 18 years old seeking asylum in the UK).
Location: This is a live-in, residential role based in a supported accommodation home in Loughborough. Some work will be based in our office buildings.
Hours: 25 hours per week on duty – this is a mixture of day, evening and weekend shifts. Two days a week will be off duty.

We are looking for a number of part-time (up to 14 hours per week) seasonal Visitor Experience Assistants to work with our existing expert groups of volunteer welcomers, guides and shop assistants during peak holiday periods.

About the role:
This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. The IDVA will work closely with the police safeguarding teams to identify high risk victims of domestic abuse who are repeat victims and unwilling or unable to engage with agencies in order to keep themselves safe.
You will:
- Visit victims within their own home, mainly accompanied by the police following an incident of high risk/high harm.
- You will treat victims with empathy and respect, explaining the role of the IDVA, its independence from the police and how the service can help.
- You will act as an independent advocate for the victim to ensure that they understand and know their options and rights under the victims code of practice, supporting them to make their own informed decisions.
- You will conduct safety planning and identify all risks and needs using the DASH risk assessment tool.
- You will liaise with community IDVA's and other agencies to provide ongoing wrap around support based on the clients needs
- Contribute towards interventions, helping to design a multi agency safety plan to protect victims
You will need:
- Experience of working with high risk victims of domestic abuse & ideally hold an IDVA accreditation
- Comprehensive understanding of domestic abuse & the impact on victims
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- Understand Safeguarding, & the legal responsibilities around these
- Theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies

For over 85 years, Coram’s Fields has provided a safe haven for children in London, offering a unique seven-acre park and a range of community services, from nursery provision to sports programmes and youth support. About the Role
This exciting new role will play a key part in raising funds and increasing the public profile of Coram’s Fields. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising & Communications and the Fundraising Officer to support income generation from different fundraising sources and strengthen our communication functions. You will help create compelling content, produce marketing materials, and deliver donor engagement initiatives that tell the story of our work to inspire engagement and support.

Job Description
To be part of the youth work team at Redthread, with a primary focus on the Youth Violence Intervention Programme.
What does a Youth Intervention Practitioner do? Youth Intervention Practitioners use the principles and power of youth work in the setting of a busy emergency department. We meet young people who have experienced injury or trauma while they are in the hospital, and work alongside our clinical colleagues to offer them support at a time when they are feeling very vulnerable. Our first contact with the young person may be to offer them a drink, or to ring their parent, or to check they understand what’s happening to them. When their immediate medical needs have been met, we will talk to them some more and explain how we can support them.
We will do a safety plan with them before they leave the hospital. If a young person chooses to engage with us, we will then work with them for eight to twelve weeks on a plan of action that’s tailored to their needs. We work closely with the hospital safeguarding team every day and frequently have to escalate concerns. We contact any other agencies who know the young person so we’re not duplicating their work, and often arrange to meet them with the young person. We regularly have to strongly advocate for young people, for example with housing agencies.
We look for organisations who can work with them towards their longer-term goals and we do relational referrals, transferring the trust that young people have built with us. Youth Intervention Practitioners hold a caseload of young people, supported by their team leader, and need to be good at recording their work, and discussing and reflecting on their practice. We provide an intensive induction at the start of the role, ongoing training and CPD throughout your time at Redthread and fortnightly clinical supervision.
Our Youth Intervention Practitioners have to be courageous and tenacious, and because ours is a short intervention, we don’t always see first-hand the impact of our work. But we know from talking to the young people we work with that we make a huge difference. Our Youth Intervention Practitioners are resilient, able to work calmly in a challenging environment with young people experiencing trauma, injury or exploitation. They have a good level of self awareness, the ability to reflect on how the work is impacting them, and a willingness to engage in regular clinical supervision that helps them develop their practice and emotional literacy.
Qualifications
Desirable (but not essential): A degree-level qualification in social work, youth work, a social science, education or another relevant field.

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital Birmingham and Birmingham Children's Hospital. With regular travel to other Redthread sites and offices when required.

About the role:
