About us
Who we are
Redthread has over twenty years' experience supporting young people aged 11 to 25 as they transition into adulthood. We particularly seek to support young people facing multiple challenges related to gangs, lifestyle, violence and exploitation, mental health and wellbeing. Whether they have been the victim of a stabbing, are seeking support for anxiety, have suffered a sexual assault or want to find a new home beyond the reach of a gang, our dynamic youth work programmes empower young people to overcome the challenges they face.
We support the holistic wellbeing of young people by delivering innovative interventions and personal support through our hospital-based Youth Violence Intervention Programme (YVIP), KAOS Service at King's College Hospital, and Social Swictch programme (in partnership with Catch22 and funded by Google). Through building effective partnerships, our aim is to help young people lead healthy, safe and happy lives.
