The role

You will be the first point of contact for enquiries to TTF and will proactively promote our opportunities across our network through telephone, email and in-person events.

Building relationships with teachers and career leads in schools and colleges is a crucial part of this role to ensure our marketing and communications reach the right people and meets students’ needs. 

You will be a dynamic and confident communicator, who thrives onsuccessfully closing a ‘sale’. All our programmes are fully funded by our amazing partners, and your role - with support from your colleagues - will be to identify schools who meet our eligibility criteria and find innovative ways to bring them into our network.

Your experience

This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home with IT provided and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. These days are considered commuting days. The role

We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications manager to raise awareness of, and engagement with, the activities of our Enterprise directorate, with a particular focus on our portfolio of regional Hubs.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver marketing plans and produce assets which may include social media posts, paid digital marketing, email newsletters, digital graphics, printed flyers, video clips, blog posts or press releases – tailoring each to regional audiences around the UK. While raising awareness of our regional Hubs with targeted outreach for key local activities, you will also work closely with a small Programme Communications team to contribute to communications plans for our entire suite of Enterprise Hub programmes, helping ensure that each delivers a sufficient volume of high quality, diverse applications from across the UK.

You will be expected to recommend marketing approaches to make an impact, while monitoring and evaluating campaigns to learn from successes and make suggestions for improvement. With good all-round communications skills, you will need to craft high impact copy as well as produce eye-catching visuals, all while adhering to the Academy’s and Enterprise Hub’s brand and visual identity guidelines. It will be vital to work in collaboration – managing suppliers, meeting the needs of colleagues in multiple teams, and working closely with external partners.

As part of the role, you will have a good eye for a story and will capture case studies of success from across our UK community of awardees. Working closely with our regional engagement team based in Hubs around the country, you will ensure our outreach aligns with the needs and expectations of regional audiences and find opportunities to leverage local influencers to strengthen our reach.

Role Overview 

You will be integral to achieving our strategic priorities of generating income through repeat support, and providing exceptional supporter journeys for our community, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. 

The role involves providing excellent customer care and engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The post-holder will be integral to achieving strategic Income Generation priorities, including raising funds from supporters through exceptional standards of supporter stewardship, and to deliver administrative support for the wider team. 

About You 

You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations. 

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.

The Spear Assistant Coach will work as part of the River Church staff team, alongside the Centre Manager to deliver the Spear Programme, equipping and empowering 16-24 year olds to overcome barriers to employment and turn their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.

Key Responsibilities 

Spear Programme

• Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work.
• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear trainees. This includes running application workshops with past trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics. 

Relationship Management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations.
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre.

Church Community

• The Assistant Coach is directly employed by River Church, though it is not a requirement of the role for the successful candidate to join River Church as their worshipping community if they are already part of another local church
• Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within River Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation.

This role will suit you if you are:

• An active Christian, able to personally represent the values and beliefs of Resurgo and River Church, Ipswich.
• Passion for social justice and for working as part of the church to transform communities, especially supporting young people in employment or education.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills, both over telephone and face to face; particularly a confidence in group facilitation.

We are looking for a number of part-time (up to 14 hours per week) seasonal Visitor Experience Assistants to work with our existing expert groups of volunteer welcomers, guides and shop assistants during peak holiday periods.

This role will involve welcoming people in and inviting them to explore our glorious Cathedral to learn more about the building and its purpose at the same time as developing new skills.

As part of your induction successful candidates will attend a Training Day with a course developed and delivered by our Visitor Experience Manager and an accredited training company covering Visitor Experience, customer service fundraising techniques, safety and safeguarding.

This role comes at an exciting time for the Cathedral. In 2024 we were awarded £118,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to create a new dynamic space, combining our shop and welcome area with a new heritage exhibition space.

Primary Objectives 

• Greet and welcome visitors to Portsmouth Cathedral, helping to provide an experience above their expectations.  

• Implement a refreshed emphasis on articulating ‘the ask’ for donations and be part of a new group testing innovative donation methods and solutions.

This is a new and exciting role in Refuge, the post holder will be embedded within district borough housing teams to facilitate dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. The housing advocate will be collocated within the council offices of their designated area to help facilitate -

• Close working relationships with Housing colleagues
• Provision of specialist knowledge relating to DA for Housing Officers and Homelessness Teams to draw on
• Specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis
• Provision of advocacy; supporting survivors to access safe accommodation
• Joint working with the IDVA or Domestic Abuse Outreach services to ensure all the survivors’ needs are met.

This recognises that many survivors will approach Housing at moments of crisis, when they are either considering fleeing, or have already fled.

You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

Location:  Home-based with frequent travel to projects across Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool

By creating welcoming spaces for people from all walks of life to meet, eat and have conversations, we are supporting people’s health and mental wellbeing.

As Project Support Officer you will support our Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation, and giving our volunteers a fantastic experience. Each of our Community Meal Projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position). You will support Project Leaders in running our Community Meals, and will give extra support to our projects as and when required.

This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, recruiting new Project Leaders for the Region, or attending Projects. The right person for this role is customer service oriented with great communication skills, enjoys being organized, has a can-do attitude, and understands that they are a key component in supporting our fantastic Projects.

There will be frequent travel to our projects in the North East, and evening and weekend work will be needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.

Salary: £22,000 - £26,000

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.

You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.
