Impatience Insiders’ job is to get these people organised, educated, and mobilised on terms that work for them, and turn shame and disillusion into action and progress. Our ambition is to fill a gaping hole in civil society organising infrastructure and create a permanent piece of the civil society landscape.
We are looking to build and invest in a series of insider movements in food retail, management consulting, advertising, public affairs and finance. By 2030 we aim to see the ‘insider movement’ model mainstreamed as a vehicle for private but collective activism for corporate insiders. Insider Movements will be thriving within scores of just transition-critical industries. The successes of early insider movements will be well known and held as examples of how insider power can help transform industries and drive a socially just and environmentally regenerative transition.

OVERVIEW

Resolve Poverty is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to support the growth and development of the organisation as we embark on our four-year strategy.
About the role
This exciting new internal and external facing role will support the realisation of Resolve Poverty’s ambitious four year strategy as the organisation seeks to have impact nationwide.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of the senior leadership team, alongside the CEO and Head of Policy. The COO will work closely with the CEO and manage key internal operations and functions’ including Human Resources (liaising with our external HR consultant) , IT and administration. · A sound knowledge of all aspects of reward including role evaluation and benchmarking, short and long-term incentives, cash and benefits.
· High levels of numeracy with advanced Excel skills including the ability to analyse complex data and extract appropriate information.
· Demonstrable experience of pay modelling and costing of proposals
· The ability to work in a complex environment and adapt to different audiences, influencing a range of stakeholders where appropriate.
· The ability to produce concise well-written papers, reports and policies.

About the role
The Supporter CRM Manager is integral to the successful use of supporter data across the organisation. We’re looking for someone to play a lead role in embedding best practice ways of working in data management. This is a one-year contract.
About you
To succeed, you’ll need to be experienced in data quality and implementing operational procedures to maintain high standards of data quality and have worked as a help desk technician or a similar customer support role. You’ll also need to be skilled in engaging a diverse database user community, helping them to use and get the most out of the system and working with them to identify system improvements. You should be analytical, solution orientated and able to communicate technical information to a non-technical client team audience, you have a good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations relating to supporter data too (e.g., GDPR, PECR and the Fundraising Code of Practice). You’re also great at diagnosing basic technical issues likely to affect users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and have had some exposure to the Microsoft Power Platform suite, in particular Dynamics and Power Automate/Flow.

About the team
This role sits within the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department, which is made up of 30+ people based across the country with bases in London, Sheffield, and Edinburgh. The T&D Department is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities, providing a secure infrastructure, management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and the provision of support for a range of software, systems, and platform tools.
