Grants Manager-Ukraine Humanitarian Programme
Salary: £42K per annum.

The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £439 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and member charities to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will also lead on oversight of the DEC Ukraine programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners as well as external briefings over the duration of the response.
Key responsibilities:
Communication and Collaboration

Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.

Maintain strong understanding of response context.

Manage and provide timely, response briefings to internal and external audiences, key stakeholders including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office [FCDO] and, other key stakeholders.

Travel to Ukraine and surrounding response countries to deliver workshops with members and their local partners.
Analysis and Reporting

Review, evaluate, and advise on member charity project plans and reports for consistency, trends analysis and coherence of data across submitted documentation.

Contribute to the review and analysis of plans and reports submitted by member charities in response to DEC appeals.

Share timely and relevant information and analysis from plans and reports with DEC member charities and local partners.

Manage external reporting requirements including preparation of stakeholder reports and infographics.
Management and Leadership

Coordinate the team’s surge capacity to deliver points above, which may involve managing and inducting a team of external consultants and training them in the use of our knowledge management system [Box].

Coordinate with the Programme Quality, Accountability & Learning team to ensure monitoring, learning and accountability initiatives are timely and appropriate to the response.

Support with real-time reviews, community perception studies and other related MEAL activities.
If you have recently worked in a humanitarian team in any of DEC’s 15 member charities, or have demonstratable humanitarian experience within the Ukraine response or other large scale Humanitarian responses, with the competence to prepare timely/accurate reports and deliver credible presentations to diverse audiences, then you will be perfect to join an incredible team and organisation at the DEC.
We cannot predict the need for a future appeal, but should one occur during the contract for this role, the successful applicant may be asked to stay on for an extended period.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team in London. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient reception service for our main London centre. In addition, you will help deliver effective administrative systems, supporting the successful running of the centre. About you
You will have a good understanding of health and safety and data protection legislation, and have experience of working within a confidential environment, with knowledge of reception systems within a welfare or clinical setting. As CRM Manager, you will work in our Fundraising & Communication Team taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of our CRM and work on the ongoing development as we move to Microsoft Dynamics 365 in mid-2025. Your initial focus will be on developing a solid understanding of our new CRM, the current use cases, and building your product knowledge. You will be supported by a project team (including Subject Matter Experts across the organisation) and learning with us as we test, migrate and go live.
Once live, you will become the primary contact for our Dynamics 365 users. Using your experience of managing CRM systems (ideally within a fundraising context), you will support teams to deliver their objectives, managing the workflow through the CRM Team and identifying medium/long term improvements.
We have ambitious plans to drive audience focus and make even better use of our data. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising Operations, you will help define new ways of working and develop a road map for our CRM that aligns to our organisational strategy.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the CRM team, ensuring work progresses, including identifying issues and improvements.
- Through effective line management, support and develop the CRM Team.
- Become our in-house CRM Specialist; maintain and manage the CRM by troubleshooting and problem-solving issues, engaging with teams to identify gaps and opportunities and designing and implementing solutions.
- Develop and maintain CRM documentation that logs and tracks key metrics and information. Ensure CRM process documentation is fit for purpose and that all updates are appropriately recorded.
- Participate in department planning and evaluations, bringing in a CRM perspective, identifying opportunities and challenges.
- Work with CRM users and IT to elicit CRM requirements, assess priorities and capacity, project manage CRM work. Lead on CRM centric projects as required.
- Develop and document a CRM strategy that aligns with the strategic objectives of the whole organisation. In line with this identify, monitor and report on key KPIs for CRM.
- Develop CRM data governance processes which ensure high standard of data cleanliness and quality across the system. Promote and lead on good data management across the organisation, including participation in relevant data protection working groups.
- Build strong relationships with all information and technology users, developers and teams to enable them to maximise their use of CRM.
- Support all users to understand, utilize and optimise the data stored in CRM, as well as how to access and report on it.
- Alongside our IT team, work with our CRM supplier to scope and commission development, troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities and maximise system value.
- Keep up to date with MS Dynamics 365 updates and new features and ensure they are rolled out to the organisation following an agreed release and change process.

The Project Manager (Decreased Consciousness Guideline) is an important role at the College, as you will work closely with key clinical stakeholders and researchers to lead the management and delivery of the decreased consciousness guideline update within the RCPCH clinical guideline portfolio, which paediatricians and their colleagues regularly use to manage the treatment of children’s medical conditions.
As Project Manager (Decreased Consciousness Guideline) you will identify and coordinate members of expert working groups to undertake the development of clinical guidelines, carrying out systematic searches, critically appraising research papers and providing methodological advice to these working groups.
Based within the Research and Evidence team, you will also work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH clinical guidelines, as well as working with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit.
In addition, you will take responsibility for maintaining the Reye’s Syndrome microsite on behalf of the College.
Suitably qualified with a research methodology element or with equivalent work experience, you should have proven technical expertise in clinical guideline methodology and systematic reviews, have a rigorous knowledge of research methodology and quality assurance and have excellent critical appraisal skills.
With a background of working with clinicians or academics in the NHS or a similar regulated environment, you should have proven stakeholder management skills and be able to assimilate and report complex medical information on child health research quickly and clearly to different audiences.
Familiarity with carrying out statistical analysis using SPSS, STATA and/or Review manager and experience in the use of GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations) framework would be desirable. Experience of evaluation methodologies and a project management qualification would also be desirable.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s & Youth Worker to join our team at Oasis Church Waterloo, to work with our under-18s and their families. The postholder will have particular responsibility for developing the children’s and youth provision at Oasis Church Waterloo, leading the team delivering children’s and youth work on Sundays and also deepening relationships with our church families during the week. The Church Children and Youth Worker will also be responsible for developing and expanding the integrated children’s and youth provision across the Waterloo Hub, with significant input into developing school families support work and developing the staff and volunteer team.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:
· Working with our church ministers and volunteer children’s/youth team leaders to develop our children’s and youth work strategy, in line with the Hub Vision (and with the ethos and values of Oasis), that delivers holistic support for children and young people across the local community and recognises their hopes and aspirations.
· Working with our church ministers and children’s/youth workers across the Oasis Church Network to develop a curriculum for our work with under-18s in church.

We are looking for a Senior Evidence and Evaluation Manager to work in a dedicated Impact and Evidence directorate, working at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation. You will be central to our ambition to create the largest repository of robust evidence and evaluations of what works to support young people into good jobs. In the directorate, you will work with two Heads of Evaluation and the Deputy Director and Director to ensure all Youth Futures’ investments are designed to provide robust evidence of what works.
The Senior Evidence and Evaluation Manager will primarily lead on the design, commissioning, and management of evaluations and evidence generation, including new large scale evaluation projects launching in 2025 as well as a portfolio of existing large-scale and complex evaluations.
You will also work with Impact & Evidence and Policy colleagues to help develop new programmes to improve the evidence base on supporting young people into good work by, for example, working with partners able to run larger scale trials.
This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Focus on scaling and strengthening The Resilience Project, particularly developing alternative revenue generating pathways, key partnerships and long-term sustainable funding mechanisms. From this, develop and implement a long-term strategy that aligns with the organisation’s mission, vision, and values. Lead the organisation in responding to emerging challenges and opportunities in climate justice, youth mental health, and resilience-building. - Organisational Development: Build and nurture a high-performing team of international staff and volunteers. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering organisational culture. Work closely with the Senior Board to ensure effective governance and accountability.
- Financial Management: Working with the Finance and Fundraising Lead, develop and oversee budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and smooth cashflow. Diversify income streams through grants, partnerships, donations, and other revenue opportunities. Lead in the development and creation of additional revenue opportunities.
- Programme Oversight: Working with the Programmes Office, ensure the continued delivery and development of impactful initiatives such as the Resilience Fellowship Programme, community Programmes and workshops. Monitor and evaluate programme impact to ensure quality, effectiveness and relevance to the youth climate justice movement. Oversee our international expansion, leading on risk assessment and ensuring any development promotes sensitivity, inclusion, co-design and resilience.
- Partnerships and Advocacy: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and youth organisations. Act as an ambassador for The Resilience Project, advocating for youth empowerment and climate resilience on national and international platforms.
- Communications and Fundraising: Oversee the organisation’s communications and marketing strategy to enhance visibility and engagement. Lead fundraising efforts to secure the resources necessary to achieve the organisation’s goals.

Purpose of Role
This post is responsible for leading and delivering Pillar 1 of Comic Relief’s strategy, the ‘Alleviating the consequences of poverty’ funding programme at Comic Relief, overseeing all the grant-making in this area. The Head of Programme will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Impact and Learning to develop clear theories of change with tangible objectives and deliverables for the programme. The Head of Programme will report to the Director of Funding and work with colleagues from across Comic Relief and with external stakeholders to achieve social change and measurable impact towards our vision of a just world free from poverty.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership of Comic Relief’s global portfolio of investments within the ‘alleviating the consequences of poverty’ strategic programme (Pillar 1) , leading team members to deliver a programme with positive social impact, in line with our strategic objectives.
