Right now, our Supported Housing service in Sudbury is looking for someone like you to support the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community. Entering accurate case notes onto our IT system will be important too. And, when it comes to regularly liaising with GP surgeries, the local council, charities etc. or promoting the service within the community, again, we'll count on you.

You are happy working independently or, as a valued member of our team, being part of a weekly rota system. Ideally you have access to your own vehicle which you are willing to use for business purposes and a willingness to travel in and around the Suffolk area. Mileage expenses are paid on a biweekly basis.

Events Support Executive

We’re looking for an experienced Events Support Executive to join World Vision, an important charity helping vulnerable children across the world.

Position: Events Support Executive (Maternity Cover)

About the role:

As Events Support Executive, you will support the Specialist Giving team’s strategy and programme of annual events delivering memorable, creative and high-quality events to inspire, engage and steward our audiences.  From conception to delivery, you will support the Specialist Giving team's event calendar.

Through these events you will support the engagement of current and future supporters through a Gift in their Will, child sponsorship and non-financial engagement, enabling us to generate more income to increase World Vision UK’s ability to transform children’s lives. Key areas of responsibility include:  

• To support the Specialist Giving events programme across a variety of mediums from conception to delivery according to requirements, target audience and objectives. Ensure messaging and supporting materials accurately reflect World Vision's mission, vision and identity.
• Be accountable for the delivery of high-quality donor-focused events, from the concept and planning of new events and updating existing events through to their creation and delivery. You will be responsible for working with the team to deliver physical and virtual events which meet targets and our donor/partner needs and strengthen their relationship with the organisation.
• Use of strong communication skills, creativity and content creation which meets each event's objective(s).
• Administer events, that ensure the appropriate audience(s) are selected from our database and event communications meet GDPR best practice and are logged on the CRM. Setting up correspondence and invites as necessary and processing all responses across all mediums.
• Work with managers to ensure an integrated follow-up after the event. Provide detailed and informative event briefings for staff. Conduct learning reviews and event analysis after each event and use these insights to come up with ideas for improvements and new events
• Responsible for adhering to risk and compliance related to hosting events, including but not limited to, ensuring venue compliance and safety policies are adhered to, risk assessments are completed, and events don't pose a risk to staff, attendees and speakers
• Supplier and logistics oversight – including but not limited to research, sourcing and visiting venues, managing and negotiating caterers, vendors and suppliers to deliver high value and engaging events to budget and on time, processing invoices and purchase orders as required. Keeping suppliers accountable for timely delivery within an agreed budget.

About you:

We are looking for an Events Support Executive with clear communication skills with the ability or experience to work with agility. You will be collaborative and able to work with different types of teams and audiences.

Key skills required for this role:

• Experience in delivering fundraising events that successfully raise income against targets Educated to degree level or above (or with extensive relevant workplace experience demonstrating skills and abilities to manage and deliver events.)
• Full UK Driver’s License Experience in managing and delivering high-quality, successful events meeting a variety of audience needs.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience in managing and influencing a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Grove House site in Hailsham with the expectation of working from other services in Eastbourne and Hailsham when required.Main areas of responsibilities:

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community. 
• Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
• Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance). 

Housing

• Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living. 
• Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law.
• Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.

General 

• Work as part of a team, on a rota shift pattern, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective, and supportive staff during the day/evening, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
• Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
• Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice.

Citizens Advice Waltham Forest has an exciting opportunity on their successful Debt Free Advice Team for an experienced Senior Debt Adviser. We have been part of the wider Debt Free Advice partnership for over a decade and have success in delivering high quality debt advice to local residents who are facing financial difficulties. The demand for the service in light of the cost of living crisis has increased substantially over recent years and we are looking to expand our team.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Debt Adviser who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment. They will have experience of supporting and supervising a team, and monitoring their performance to ensure this remains in line with internal and external requirements.

The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice. 

Main Responsibilities:

● Provide casework covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.

● Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions

● Ensuring income maximisation through the appropriate take up of income, including those relating to water charges, benefits, tax and housing

We are seeking an individual with strong administration skills to join our team in the role of Operations Coordinator and support our mission to end homelessness.  This role will support the administrative and operational functions within our offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, together with our coffee shops and Village, whilst being the first point of contact for inbound enquiries. 

We are looking for a well organised individual, with good problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude to become part of our friendly team and are keen to learn and develop. 

What you’ll be doing:

· Ensuring our offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow are fit for purpose, providing an environment that is welcoming to both staff and external visitors.

· Managing and responding to inbound email and telephone enquiries.

· Manging shop related customer orders, inbound enquiries and invoicing.

· Supporting elements of finance administration, especially during holiday periods. 

· Booking travel, accommodation, training courses and supporting colleagues with other business-related purchases.

· Maintaining the health and safety maintenance tracker and supporting colleagues with actions and maintenance required in each of our operational units and at our Village.

· Arranging meetings and taking minutes if required.

About the role

We’re looking for a marketing officer to join our busy brand marketing and planning team, to work on our health information and support marketing. It’s an exciting time to join the team and Breast Cancer Now as we continue to make progress towards our ambition to be recognised as the place to turn for anything and everything to do with breast cancer.

You’ll be working closely with services, nursing and health information teams and responsible for delivering innovative and effective marketing communications which grows awareness of Breast Cancer Now’s health information and support offer amongst key audiences.

You’ll use your skills and experience to work across a full range of paid and owned channels to collaborate with both in-house and external, creative and media agencies to increase the reach and engagement of Breast Cancer Now’s support offer by planning and implementing targeted communications and campaigns.

About you

You will have good experience managing marketing campaigns across a range of media channels and a demonstrable interest in health marketing.

A well organised person with excellent communication skills, you will be confident managing external agencies and suppliers, as well as an in-house creative studio and in house digital team.

We have a wide portfolio of campaigns that sit closely with teams across the whole organisation and you will work closely alongside internal stakeholders – all of which require excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills. You will need to be comfortable managing several campaigns simultaneously as well as enjoy looking for fresh ways to deliver long-standing campaigns.

What You’ll Do: As a Senior Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering The charity’s fundraising strategy, with a focus on community fundraising and challenge events.
