About the role:
We are is looking to appoint a Family Support Worker to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Liverpool Team.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss, and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.
Location:
This role covers Liverpool and surrounding areas. The role does require travel, however you have the freedom to plan your own diary around the demands of both the families you are working with, your team, and also any personal appointments you may need to attend.

About this role
We are pleased to advertise for a Head of Death Penalty Projects- US to oversee our work against the death penalty in the United States of America.
Reprieve has worked against the death penalty since our founding. In recent years we have built a particular specialism in issues relating to lethal injection, the most popular execution method in the US. Lethal injection has been touted as more humane than other methods – a modern, clean, clinical way to execute. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Lethal injection executions go wrong more often than any other execution method, often resulting in prolonged and torturous executions, commonly known as “botched” executions. Through our work we aim to dispel the myth of the humane execution, working with allies across medicine, business and other sectors to end the misuse of medicines and medical technology in executions.
The existing portfolio of work includes litigation, investigation and analysis, corporate engagement, a wide range of public and private advocacy, and developing and maintaining world-leading expertise on execution methods, particularly the jurisprudence and science relevant to lethal injection.
Contract, location and salary
The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for tax and national insurance.Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% from the London office and the rest of the week from home. CJC is a broad coalition of NGOs, trade unions and law firms, encompassing a range of political and thematic priorities, from workers’ rights and modern slavery, to climate and the environment, global justice and the rights of women and girls, children and indigenous peoples. But what brings us together is a shared commitment to ending corporate impunity for human rights abuses and environmental destruction: in line with this, collaborative work for change alongside our partners is at the heart of all we do.
We’re at a crucial point in a campaign which spans advocacy, public communications and engagement with businesses, and seeks to ensure the implementation of a ‘Business, Human Rights and Environment Act’ in the UK. This legislation would help end corporate abuses of human rights and the environment, and make it easier for victims to access justice. At an exciting juncture for the campaign, the successful applicant will play a central role in shaping it and driving it forward, working alongside our civil society partners to do so.

What we’re looking for

Starting salary: £30,502 (outside of London, with a £3k annual travel bursary)/£34,162 (inside London) Under our Employee Ownership Trust model, all team members will also receive an equal share of the profits each year. The amount will depend on how much profit is made.

The Role

Your first job will be to draft our Social Media and Creative Communications Plan, setting out the key opportunities, milestones and targets for the next few years.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Park Management Team and support the general running and maintenance of the Trust's estate and be responsible for delivering all tree related works - whether for safety reasons, as part of our Woodland Management Plan, or in response to arboricultural diseases. The role will also play a key part in helping the Trust plan for the future by enhancing Nene Park for people and for wildlife, as well as reducing its carbon footprint.
This is very much a practical role, with the post holder directly involved in all aspects of forestry operations on the ground, as well as planning for and dealing with contractors on site.

- Leading and coordinating arboricultural operations, tree surveys and tree related safety inspections.
- Carrying out and supervising tree works internally as well as those conducted by the Trust's specialist external tree contractors.
- Ranger duties to ensure the Park is well-managed and maintained, conserving its important heritage and ensuring it provides a welcoming environment for Park visitors

Job Purpose
Oceana is looking for a talented and motivated campaign officer to join our team at a critical and exciting moment for our ocean & climate campaign. The position can be based in Oceana’s UK flexible workspaces in Cornwall or London. Regular travel may be required to meet team members and stakeholders in geographically diverse locations.
The role will be directly supporting our campaign to end new oil and gas drilling in UK waters, and drive forward our Ocean Alliance Against Offshore Drilling, a coalition of over 50 organisations united behind this goal. Role Overview

The postholder will work in collaboration with existing and yet to be appointed officers within a new ‘buildings for mission’ sub-team within the Department of Discipleship, Mission & Ministry to facilitate smooth administration and communication which will resource churches, schools and other Christian communities to cherish creation through the reduction/ elimination of their carbon footprint.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the NZC Programme / Project Manager in monitoring and tracking progress across all
parishes.
• Offer project and contract administration guidance to parishes.
• Work closely with the Diocesan Environmental Engagement Officer in supporting the improvement
of Energy Footprint Tool (EFT) responses.
• Support heads of departments across the diocese both in their NZC work and also in other work

The Awards Management Unit (AMU)
AMU has responsibility for identifying, securing and managing all funding from government donors for the IRC. AMU is a bridge between donors and the IRC’s work on the ground. The team provides expert technical advice to colleagues delivering our services around the world, ensures consistency and compliance with our donors’ policies and procedures, and manages risk. The unit also supports all IRC staff working on awards from government donors and partnerships.
The Purpose of the Role
The Senior Advisor, FCDO Donor Engagement will lead, guide and coordinate IRC’s funding focused engagement with UK Government’s Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The post holder will provide an internal and external “account management” function to support engagement with these donors. The role is responsible for providing expertise and leadership on donor relations. It will work closely with technical and proposal development teams who will provide the operational BD capacity to secure significant growth in its funding portfolio from the UK Government and to protect IRC’s funding share, through influential engagement around policy shifts, working in close collaboration with Policy & Solutions as well as Advocacy & Influence.
The FCDO Senior Advisor will lead the development and implementation of strategies for proactive donor and partner relationships on behalf of IRC. The role will develop and maintain positive working relationships and standards of collaboration with senior colleagues across the organization, including the Awards Management Unit, International Division (CRRD) and External Relations. The role will also lead FCDO liaison on Business Development with the President’s Office, advising the leadership board on relevant trends in FCDO funding.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategy
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop, update and lead a comprehensive UK-focused business development strategy including approaches, tools, and metrics.
- Lead the development and implementation of the UK donor engagement strategy including coordinating actions of relevant stakeholders.
External Representation
- Develop and maintain a network of senior stakeholders within relevant FCDO teams to ensure effective engagement, influence and winning BD approaches.

- Map donor organizational structure, identify key contacts and maintain relationship records in IRC’s CRM system.
- Maintain and contribute to the improvement of tools and resources to support donor engagement and relationship building with donors.
- Work with key staff across the organization to support UK business development planning and implementation, routinely engaging with operational BD teams at global, regional and country levels to review long term pipeline, plan strategic engagement and mitigate portfolio risk.
