RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
-Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for all volunteers and ensure recruitment and processes comply with the charity’s values & EDI requirements
-Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
-Support and recruit volunteer community leaders; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders, and longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.
-Keep records on which community groups are active and identify areas of need and feedback mechanisms.
-Work with Content & Communications Lead to produce regular mailings for volunteers and recruitment drives and promote volunteering through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns.
-Keep up to date with legislation and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
-Maintain the database of volunteers + ensure all volunteers are registered members.
-Manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses.

Location: Remote (UK only) with a minimum of 5 mandatory meetings per year (includes overnight stays for 2-day meetings) at our office in Shrewsbury and occasional meetings elsewhere.

The Role
As their Corporate Fundraiser, you'll focus on maximising income from corporate partnerships (both UK and international). You'll build and manage your own portfolio of corporate donors, identify new opportunities, and provide exceptional stewardship to secure ongoing support. Collaboration across the organisation is key, as is a passion for creating positive change.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and manage a portfolio of corporate supporters to maximise income.
- Research and identify new opportunities, delivering pitches that align with companies' values and ESG goals.
- Organise and support corporate fundraising events, both in-person and online.
- Write persuasive proposals, reports, and donor updates that showcase the impact of our work.
- Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely reporting to funders.

About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Community Fundraiser working in Newport/Monmouthshire/Torfaen. About the role:
Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading on all Community Fundraising within their geographical area.
You will be responsible for developing and growing income and engagement within a defined region whilst also delivering first class account management to existing and new fundraisers.
Working within the Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Corporate and Major Giving Teams as well as Events and Philanthropy to ensure that all opportunities are maximised.

Income-generation Manager
Job purpose
Over the next six years, the Diocese of St Asaph is embarking on an ambitious growth programme to extend our ministry in local communities.
To support this work, we need to develop, deliver and embed an income-generation strategy for our growth projects to help our churches and Mission Areas to achieve financial sustainability for the future.
As part of the Diocesan office team, but working closely with Hub Churches and Mission Areas, the Income-generation Manager will develop current income streams and use creative approaches to identify new opportunities and trial new methods of generating funds.
Key duties are as follows:

Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Philanthropy Manager with demonstrated experience, preferably within the charity sector or comparable commercial environment. The role will involve primarily working from home and must be situated in or near London to attend regular in person meetings with key staff.
Key responsibilities
Maintain a portfolio of 50 – 70 major donors and prospects by creating and implementing strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors with the capacity to make 5 and low 6-figure annual gifts (bigger gifts would fall to the Vice President, International Development and UK Fundraising Director)
Conduct 75 to 100 meetings with donors and prospects annually through one-on-one meetings, site visits, and other types of meaningful contact.
Provide recommendations and assist in executing effective strategies to practice moves management and increase fundraising results.
Write and create customised proposals and presentations for major donors.
In coordination with the UK Fundraising Director, assist with developing projects that will enhance the major giving operations of the Development Department and support them by developing strategy briefs and leading preparation meetings.
Help produce cultivation and stewardship programs for prospects and major donors.
Organise at least two major donor events each year.
Organising research on major donors as well as conducting supplemental research.
Ensure all key administrative tasks for the philanthropy programme are taken care of.
Other duties as are appropriate for this role.
Travel
There is limited but regular travel into London for regular team meetings as well as travel as needed around the UK for meetings with major donors.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of relevant experience with exposure to major gift donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship processes preferred.
A proven history of generating income in the £100,000’s and securing gifts of £25,000 or more.
Demonstrated success in developing substantive donor relationships and in supporting senior management, program staff, to execute donor and engagement strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both management and donors.
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
Able to take ownership of a process and to use problem solving skills to resolve issues.
Able to make sound decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
Able to function both independently and as part of a global team.
Familiar with the MS Office and donor management systems. Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, although an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for this required level of education.

The Dash Charity is looking for a Development Officer to join our wonderful team.

For almost 50 years The Dash Charity has been supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, empowering women, men and children to recognise the tactics of abuse, break the cycle, and take back control of their lives.
We were one of the first charities in the UK to be awarded Leading Lights status for our Advocacy and Outreach Services by SafeLives, and pioneered healthy relationships workshops in schools over a decade ago.
We run three refuges that offer a sanctuary to women and children escaping violence and abuse, offering specialist children’s support and one to one support for women.
We’re now looking for an ambitious and dedicated individual to help us to secure essential funding to continue delivering our life-changing services into the future.
Role Purpose:
We are seeking an ambitious individual that cares about ending violence against women and girls, who is determined to make a difference for all adults and children experiencing domestic abuse. As The Dash Charity Development Officer, you will be responsible for seeking funding from trusts and foundations, to enable us to deliver life changing services and projects.
You will have excellent attention to detail and be willing to gain a strong understanding of how the charity works and the services we deliver by working closely with our frontline staff.
You will work with our Senior Management Team to understand the charity’s impact, identify funding opportunities, and contribute to strategic service development. You will have strong communication skills and be able to build good relationships with our funders.
There will be opportunities for future growth in this role, with the potential management of direct reports as we expand our team. Hybrid remote working with some attendance on-site at services in Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead to colaborate with colleagues.

The role of our Events Coordinator is to drive forward Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s fundraising efforts through the coordination, delivery and review of our portfolio of income generating events throughout the year, and providing events expertise and support to colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate, plan and deliver a portfolio of events:
Concurrently project manage all aspects of specific events (charity-owned, third-party and challenge events), ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed as per each event’s project plan.
Produce event budgets and ensure events are run within budgeted expenditure and achieving budgeted income, negotiating with suppliers for the most cost-effective prices where appropriate.
To evaluate event performance against agreed objectives and ensure these insights and learnings inform future decision making and planning.
Propose new test events for the charity to diversify its portfolio, researching and building the business cases.
Maximise events income and develop new relationships with potential partners:
Monitor and manage the Events Fundraising budget for your responsible events and forecast as necessary, accounting for variances and taking a proactive approach where required.
Produce event evaluation reports at the end of each event to capture learnings and to support with planning for the next event.
Ensure future opportunities for the charity are followed-up post-event and are recorded as a soft-benefit in any event evaluation reports.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping of supporters, projects and events, using the Fundraising database.
Deliver high quality, donor-centric supporter care and stewardship, ensuring a quality experience for supporters at all events that reflect the values and identity of the YAA, and builds long-term relationships with our supporters.
Create and implement a marketing, communications and advertising plan:
Work alongside the marketing team to devise a multi-channel marketing plan for events and feed into the Fundraising team’s general marketing and communications planner.
Liaise with the Marketing and Communications department and external agencies to produce marketing material to support the promotion of events and post-event PR.
Update online event listings and ensure the YAA website event page is up-to-date.
Develop excellent relationships and represent YAA at the highest levels:
Maintain excellent, professional relationships with both new and existing supporters and suppliers.
Work with colleagues and volunteers across to raise the profile of and recruit event participants and attendees, and to pass on leads to relevant teams.

Team management:

Budgetary responsibility:

To manage and monitor the budget events fundraising, ensuring income targets are met, costs are in line with the agreed budget.
Submit monthly written performance reports to the Directors of Fundraising.
Personal development:

Continuously update and develop your expertise and knowledge of charity’s activities.
Share knowledge and skills with other members of the Fundraising Directorate.

General:
To act as an ambassador for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by undertaking public speaking engagements when required to do so.

To ensure all systems and processes are followed in accordance with operating procedures.
Ensure accurate records are kept, using the CRM and appropriate MS Office programmes.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Essential:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will manage major partner accounts, focusing on raising $1.5M+ through fundraising activation, grant proposals and managing established long term relationships with global stakeholders. They will be responsible for the overall account management, financial targets, as well as designing and delivering targeted fundraising campaigns in multiple regions. The role includes negotiating contract renewals, putting together funding proposals, preparing detailed reports, and managing the operational delivery. They will represent Make-A-Wish at key stakeholder meetings and events, establishing strong relationships with a vast network of stakeholders to ensure successful partnership activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-value partnerships, strong relationship-building skills, and a results-driven mindset, as well as experience managing multi-layered and complex projects involving a large array of stakeholders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategically manage existing strategic partners and their growth through opportunities that can include cause related marketing, sponsorship, employee fundraising, in-kind donations, and corporate philanthropy.
• Design, develop, and deliver campaigns and activations to drive fundraising.
• Support all key partnership objectives, including delivering financial targets, budget management, communications planning, and renewal plans to drive partnership retention.
• Develop toolkits to manage partners more effectively and prepare materials, reports, and stewardship support for corporate partnerships, engaging stakeholders at every level.
• Negotiate renewal of partner contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven track record of managing, delivering, renewing complex partnerships and securing growth ($500,000-$1,000,000+).
• Demonstrated experience in managing a prospect pipeline and implementing strategies to reach and surpass revenue goals.
• Experience managing and developing strong donor/client relationships with a proven ability to prospect, cultivate, engage, and retain corporate partners.
• Detailed understanding of the private sector, Sustainability, CSR, and corporate philanthropy, as well as the not-for-profit sector.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage a high-volume workload, and handle multiple demands and changing priorities.
