Your new role

The Corporate Fundraising Manager role is instrumental in driving the charities' mission forward by creating, managing and expanding their portfolio of corporate partnerships. The main responsibility is to produce business proposals using knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor development and grant writing. Other duties include:

• Research, approach and secure new corporate partnerships
• Fostering strategic relationships with corporate sponsors and donors
• Create and present compelling business proposals and pitches that are tailored to stakeholders to secure funding
• Evaluate the progress of fundraising campaigns, reporting key metrics to stakeholders
• Clearly communicate fundraising goals to stakeholders and corporate partners
• Act as an ambassador for the organisation, representing the charity at external events and other networking opportunities
• Undertake public speaking engagements and present to potential donors/ partners
• Maximise fundraising opportunities by collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to maximise income.

The Corporate Fundraising Officer will implement an approved strategy which seeks to successfully engage the many local businesses and companies within their community. The post holder will be working proactively, reactively and strive to ensure excellent stewardship for their corporate supporters. Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity to recruit for a Community Fundraising Manager in order to raise awareness of the charity community fundraising programme and develop a stewardship programme that builds new and develops existing relationships with supporters, volunteer groups, organisations and partners to maximise income and raise the charity’s profile.

As a Community Fundraising Manager you will:

• Manage ambitious team of two
• Design and implement a stewardship programme
• Introduce fundraising opportunities to the charity existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation
• Support the Head of Fundraising to design and develop the community events and engagement fundraising calendar to potentially include bespoke, charity place, promoted and reactive events.
• Grow non-monetary donations as part of the community fundraising portfolio of events.
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure all recording, banking and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity (finance, data and marketing and communications) and in accordance with current laws and regulations.

In order to be successful, you must have experienced :

• Experience of leading charity community fundraising income and delivering a successful portfolio of activities and trade products against budget.
• Ability to build strong relationships with both internal (direct team) and external (third-party suppliers) relationships.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively with a number of conflicting priorities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively. Alongside excellent budgeting and attention to detail.

Salary: £37,500- £40,000 per annum

As their Senior Face-to-Face Fundraising Officer, you'll lead in shaping their Direct Marketing strategy and training initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with their world-class medical and operational teams, ensuring their fundraisers are equipped with compelling knowledge to engage supporters effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic training sessions to our face-to-face fundraisers
• Build and nurture relationships with our operational team of doctors, paramedics, and pilots
• Develop and refine training materials to ensure the highest standards
• Oversee day-to-day operations of our fundraising campaigns
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and internal procedures

• Experience in planning or implementing projects and campaigns
• Confident in presenting training sessions both in-person and remotely
