Income Generation
- Drive online income generation through effective use of digital fundraising platforms, social media, and supporter journeys.
- Optimise and manage digital giving platforms, such as Funraisin, to increase donations and supporter engagement.
- Expand and enhance peer-to-peer fundraising, ensuring fundraisers have the tools and motivation to maximise income.
Digital & Social Media

ROLE PURPOSE
This role provides vital administrative support to the fundraising team, handling a range of tasks from donation processing and data management to coordinating team schedules and managing the giving inbox. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Email and Inbox Management: Respond to emails in the giving inbox, directing queries appropriately and maintaining organised records of communication.
- Cash Handling and Banking: Arrange and oversee regular cash collections, maintain records in the safe, and support regular cash counting and banking to ensure accurate and secure handling of donations.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Support team scheduling needs, including coordinating departmental meetings, agendas, and any follow-up actions. Assist with booking and organising events as needed.
- General Office Support: Manage the distribution of collection tins and buckets, assist with inventory and stock checks for fundraising materials, and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising resources.

Key responsibilities:
- Business partnering with Fundraising teams, identify opportunities for our data to enable the achievement of FR strategic goals. For example, supporting on Fundraising strategy and fundraising campaign development through the provision of Lifetime Value analysis, propensity to give modelling, econometric modelling and / or regression analysis, recency, frequency, value analysis and the appending of third-party data sources to enrich our data set and better understand our donors and prospects.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to optimise fundraising campaigns and strategies.
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards using Power BI to present actionable insights.
- Provide analysis and reporting to support live events, campaign performance, and strategic decision-making. Delivering to and enhancing briefs provided by client teams, ensuring that accurate and timely insights are available for Fundraising teams.
- Track performance metrics during events and provide immediate feedback and recommendations for optimization where appropriate.
- Support the Fundraising team with data-driven audience segmentation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or through Comic Relief’s Azure Data Lake
Data Tools and Architecture:
- Support the development of the charity’s Azure-based data models, ensuring data consistency across platforms through providing and feedback on and identifying future developments needed.
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize data flows, improve reporting systems, and ensure the effective use of data across the organization.
- Leverage SQL, Kusto (KQL), and Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud and Marketing Cloud to extract, analyse, and manipulate data from various sources.
- Utilise Power BI to build and maintain dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights.

Person specification
Essential criteria
- Experience of working with data from a large scale, sophisticated consumer fundraising programme, specifically digital first programmes, or an equivalent Business to Consumer (B2C) scheme with Customer Relationship Management at its heart.
- A strong background in SQL and Python.
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
- trong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and present complex data in a clear and actionable format.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Trusts and Foundations Team is part of the Fundraising and Marketing Communications Department and is responsible for delivering over £3m a year for the organisation’s services.
As Senior Trust Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for managing our existing donor relationships, researching new funding opportunities and preparing applications with a focus on 5 and 6 figure funding. This is a well-established income stream for Whizz Kidz with content for proposals readily available and accessible and you will have the opportunity to work with long standing supporters, helping them feel inspired by the impact of their gift. You will use your skills of relationship management to make a real difference to the lives of young wheelchair users. Finally, you will join an ambitious and collaborative fundraising team, keen to share success and support one another.
The ideal candidate will have experience of growing a Trust income stream and of preparing donor reports and providing excellent stewardship to funders and will be an excellent spoken and written communicator with a particular emphasis on funding application writing and reporting. They will have strong prospect research skills with the ability to secure higher value funding partnerships and an understanding of the issues young wheelchair users face.

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) is the dedicated NHS hospital charity for Cambridge University Hospitals, also fondly known locally as Addenbrooke’s. The Charity works to fund projects and facilities that are beyond the boundaries of the NHS to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes in patient experience, clinical care, research and education - helping to find potential cures and save lives locally, nationally and worldwide.
Addenbrooke’s has embarked on a bold journey of transformation. As part of this, two brand-new hospitals will be built: the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital. The role of Senior Philanthropy Lead is a critical one for the Charity, driving income from individuals with the capacity to give at the six and seven figure level. This role is fixed-term for two years.
The role of Senior Trusts & Strategic Partnerships Lead is a brand-new, permanent position and an essential one in helping to seek and grow significant philanthropic partnerships for the Charity. Reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy and managing a Trusts Lead, the postholder will refine and implement the fundraising strategy and develop a priority prospect list of trusts and grants.

Role Overview:
Manage and grow the charity’s fundraising efforts and financial operations. Develop and implement strategies for sustainable funding, secure multi-year grants, and diversify income streams to support the charity's mission. Represent the charity publicly and build relationships with key partners, donors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a fundraising strategy to increase funding and secure grants.
