The Charity:
GroceryAid has been the charity for the grocery industry since 1857, offering free and confidential welfare support to over £2.6m in the industry from the first day of their employment. More than 450 of the most well-known grocery retailers and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands support the charity, enabling us to help more than 70,000 people in the last twelve months. The charity raises funds through a highly respected events calendar and the D&I in Grocery Programme.
D&I in Grocery Programme:
The programme is delivered and facilitated by GroceryAid, with the support of the Strategy Steering Group and three workstream steering groups, it is a programme created for the industry by the industry. With over 100 FMCG partners, it is the largest collaboration of FMCG brands, working towards the common goal to accelerate a truly diverse and inclusive grocery industry. In 2023 the programme provided over 12,562 learning hours across 64 D&I topics. The programme benefits its partners through:
- Tracking tangible progress annually through the D&I in Grocery Maturity Model
- Shared learning activity across monthly learning labs and cross industry Employee Resource Group (ERG) forums. Resources within The Partner Hub (programme platform) including podcasts, policies, toolkits and learning content
- A 12-month cross-industry mentoring programme which provides equity and opportunity to historically underrepresented communities
- D&I in Grocery LIVE! unites the industry once a year, at the largest D&I event in the grocery sector
- Connects partners on different topics to share and learn from each other to accelerate their journey
Main purpose of the role:
To support the team, working across all aspects of the programme. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with the industry’s leading brands reaching over 1.2 million employees across the UK.
Main responsibility of the role:
- Provide administrative and logistical support across all programme steering groups
- Support team to deliver an excellent service to all partners
- Support across programme workstream activity
Steering groups:
- Schedule and track attendance for all steering group meetings
- Organise logistics and refreshments for face-to-face meetings
Partner support:
- Co-ordinate the annual onboarding process for new and renewing partners
- Provide support for partner check-in sessions
- Answer queries within the programme email inbox
- Update CRM database with key contacts and information
Workstream support:
- Work with partners and team to manage various virtual activities such as Learning lab webinars
- Send communications and updates to the programme calendar
- Support team to deliver face-to-face networking activity
- Assist with workstream projects as and when required
- Support Project Manager with The Partner HUB (members, activity, responding to queries etc)
- Work with Senior Project Manager throughout the D&I in Grocery LIVE! event life cycle
- Attend D&I in Grocery LIVE! as an active member of the team
Additional duties:
- Occasionally attend GroceryAid events throughout the year GroceryAid events Calendar
- Be an active member of the D&I community, gaining insight and sharing ideas to benefit the programme
Experience/Skills:
- Confident within all aspects of admin support with multiple internal stakeholders and workstreams
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Creates clear and effective communications
- Strong PC skills with Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word (required), Zoom, video editing packages and Canva (desired)
- Ability to multi-task and motivated to work to deadlines and targets

Additional Information:
- Salary: up to £35,000 dependant on experience

WellChild, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. We fund

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised Family Engagement Coordinator to work within our Family Team. This
role will be working directly with charity beneficiaries - parents and carers of children with serious and complex health

Tree service.
Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it
provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and get support.
Working within the Family Team and as part of the wider Programmes team this role will report to the Family Programme
Manager and is central to the development and expansion of the WellChild Family Tree. Key to this role is taking ownership
of and delivering a well-defined WellChild Family Tree membership experience that attracts and engages families from
across the UK and includes the provision of high-quality content and regular communications.

About the role
This is an awesome role focussed on improving our ways of working and processes when it comes to those who support us. We want all of our supporters to have a first class experience when they decide to donate their time and/or money to supporting children and young people with cancer and their families. However we know that as an organisation we have more to do to make this happen and the time is now.
Working in Income Generation, this role will take a recently conducted diagnostic carried out by a business improvement consultant and not only work through the next steps but make change happen, prioritising the areas with the biggest wins. This role really will have a lasting legacy in the organisation.
We're not just looking for someone to map change, this person will lead operational design and process re-engineering that transforms the Income Generation directorate and it's workforce into high achievers.
You’ll be based within the Project Management Office (PMO), a supportive team of professionals that lead transformational change across the organisation as well as corporate planning. You’ll also have close relationship with the Head of Planning and Strategy in Income Generation as well as the Associate Director Supporter Engagement.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Building on the diagnostics carried out already within Income Generation directorate to optimise organisational design and scope improvements.
- Using the diagnostics to identify pain areas, develop a sequenced plan to tackle these issues and then implement the plan to improve performance, processes and services i.e. “getting hands dirty”.
- Embedding a culture of improvement in the organisation and developing these capabilities within the workforce.
- All of these activities will involve facilitating workshops, engaging audiences with tailored communications, debating and negotiating ideas with leaders, managing governance, risks and dependencies, evaluating progress etc.

- Experience of delivering transformational change by using process improvement principles & methodologies such as TQM, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma to design services and processes that deliver value, efficiency, higher quality, lower costs and better results

We are seeking an operational and people focussed Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Executive Team. Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility
Operational Leadership and Governance
- Overall accountability for the operations of the foundation
- Oversee and optimise internal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Evaluate and improve overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics
- Oversee robust risk management processes and protocols proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Oversee the development of all necessary policies to ensure safe and healthy working environments
- Ensure FNF is compliant with all financial, tax, charity and legal requirements
Financial Management
- Oversee the development and monitoring of the financial strategy for the organisation, providing recommendations, information and guidance to the Trustees and Executive team to inform decision making
- Maintain and review polices and processes to ensure good financial controls are in place that meet both legal and tax requirements. This includes maintaining appropriate records and controls over restricted funds to ensure that these are used and reported appropriately
- Support the Finance Manager and Executive team in setting FNF’s annual budget, with robust analysis and justification of intended expenditure, financial forecasts, cashflow etc. securing active engagement and ownership from all internal budget holders
- Oversee the financial reports required to review progress against plans and forecasts throughout the year and ensuring these are disseminated and understood across the organisation
- Accountable for regular financial updates to Trustees including the Finance Investment Committee (FIC) and Board meetings along with the preparation of the financial aspects of the annual report and accounts
- Oversee the management and development of VAT reporting for FNF and trading subsidiary
- Oversee the financial aspect of FNF Global delivery to ensure compliance with HMRC
Systems and controls
- Lead in the development, implementation and monitoring of effective procurement systems and procedures, ensuring that FNF achieves best value and drives efficiencies through our external contracts
- Lead on the annual audit in accordance with current practice and the Charity Commissions Standard of Recommended Practice (SORP), liaising and managing the relationship with the auditors
- Oversee the operation of the payroll process and related HMRC contract ensuring that payments are made in an accurate and timely way
- Work with the Finance Committee to manage the investments for FNF, overseeing regular reviews of the investment policy and portfolio, liaising with external partners as necessary
Fundraising, Events, Marketing and Communications
- Provide leadership around income generation, making sure that this is located within the strategic framework and day to day thinking of the Foundation
- Provide leadership and direction for Marketing and Communications, ensuring that overall plans are in support of our strategic objectives
- Ensure all income generation activities from within this team are fully integrated across the Foundation, recognising the importance of inter departmental relationships
- Lead the team in the planning, communications, income generation and execution of the annual Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service and any similar high profile events.
Digital
- Provide strategic leadership in overseeing digital initiatives, guiding the development and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy
HR

About the role
Imperial is looking for a Regular Giving Officer (Mid-value and Telephone Campaigns) to join their successful Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team. The Regular Giving programme seeks philanthropic support from alumni and friends and this role will focus on raising money from telephone campaigns, and donors who are able to give at mid-level. Regular Giving mainly raises money to support students who struggling financially through hardship funds, the bursary and scholarships.
What you would be doing
The Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team at Imperial is a high-performing team, with a well-established, successful programme that is looking to implement new strategies to keep growing. This role is vital to continue that success by focusing on two key areas of growth for the team – telephone campaigns and mid-level giving. The post-holder will be responsible for implementing the strategy for these areas as well as the day-to-day work.
In this role, you will also represent and promote the mid-value giving programme across Advancement building relationships with Faculty fundraisers to ascertain giving opportunities below £25,000.
You will partner with the Regular Giving and Legacy Giving Manager to manage a large portfolio of mid-level supporters using mail and email as well as face to face fundraising. You will be responsible for managing the newly-rolled out mid-level giving club, Imperial Ionic.

As Senior Programmes Officer you will closely with our peacebuilding partners to help deliver an ambitious new programme of work. Through Local First, Peace Direct will work with policymakers and power holders, supporting them to understand the dysfunctions of the peacebuilding system, and find ways to better support locally-led peacebuilding.
This role is responsible for developing and managing partnerships within the four countries, with initial emphasis on Mali. You will work closely with our other SPOs who manage partnerships in the four countries, and create and manage opportunities to bring partners together to learn from one another. The Role
Sitting within the Discipleship and Social Justice team, this role provides support to three diverse and exciting areas of Church of England parish ministry. Generous Giving helps parishes to raise finances to fund their mission and ministry, Social Justice enables churches to practice their faith by supporting their communities, and Environment ensures that churches are able to make informed choices to reduce their carbon footprint and promote biodiversity.

ROLE SUMMARY
This role will report to the Senior Delivery Project Manager responsible for the ongoing development of the Alumni programme. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to guide our Alumni programme development. You will be responsible for organising events and opportunities for Alumni, such as our annual Professional Development Courses, in addition to communicating with both the Alumni group and the wider team about the programme and opportunities within it. GRADUATE SCHEME SUMMARY
Being an Alumni Coordinator is the first step on upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP). The FCLP provides you with a unique opportunity to:

Work directly with our Alumni building their careers and exploring opportunities across different sectors, as well as our partner organisations who support them (4 days per week), while also;

Gain exposure to various aspects of charity management through 6-month rotations (1 day per week).

We are building a loyal and engaged community whose support will help us to fight brain tumours on all fronts; through research, support and campaigning, to save lives and improve quality of life — and this is where you come in. We need you, a talented marketing insight specialist to help us develop and Mardeliver our strategy.
- Location: Hybrid role, 2-3 days a week in the office (based in Fleet, Hampshire)
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some out of hours working when required.
- Annual Salary: up to £32,960 (dependent on experience)
Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a unique blend of marketer, fundraiser, and data analyst, equipped with the unique ability to analyse and interpret data to drive and evolve campaigns, as well as aid in developing new products. Your natural curiosity will lead you to explore and interrogate all available data points, both online and offline. You'll excel in clearly communicating complex data findings to non-technical colleagues at all levels.

Key accountabilities:
- Campaign Analysis: Collaborate with the Head of Customer Experience (CX) to manage and interpret campaign analysis, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
- Data Visualisation: Create dashboards and visual tools for fundraisers to track and optimise campaigns
- Team Collaboration: Work with the CX team to report on testing strategies and segmentations
- Insight Dissemination: Ensure internal stakeholders understand and utilise insights.
- Market Research: Plan and implement market research to support fundraising and CX strategies
- Compliance: Ensure all campaigns comply with Data Protection and fundraising best practices.

Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative insight projects
- Ability to clearly and positively communicate technical issues at all levels
- Experience in working with personas and data segmentations for campaign optimisation
- Skilled in manipulating and interpreting large data sets to meet client requirements
- Utilising insights to inform product development and campaign strategies
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with SalesForce and/or SalesForce Marketing Cloud
- Understanding of database structures and implementation
- Experience working with a charity is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Expertise in direct marketing practices
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient with BI visualisation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)
- Experience with digital automation and customer experience software (e.g., SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Pardot)
- Familiarity with analytical and database tools
- Hands-on experience with content management systems
- Advanced use of ESPs like Marketing Cloud or DotDigital
- Proficiency with market research tools (e.g., Alchemer, SurveyMonkey)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Effective project management and organisational skills under tight deadlines

What You'll Do:
As their Volunteer Programme Lead, you'll play a vital role in their mission by:
- Developing a comprehensive volunteer fundraising strategy.
- Creating a wide range of volunteer opportunities that make a real impact.
- Establishing and managing fundraising committees across the East of England.
- Attending and supporting fundraising events-making every interaction count.
- Building partnerships within the hospital and community to grow their volunteer base.
- Ensuring volunteers feel valued, fulfilled, and proud to be part of their team.
Your Role:
You'll be the driving force behind their volunteer programme, working closely with colleagues across the charity and hospital. You'll have the chance to:
- Identify new opportunities for volunteering and income generation.
- Lead volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement strategies.
- Champion volunteering both inside the hospital and throughout local communities.
- Coordinate their Charity Hubs within the hospital, ensuring they are staffed by exceptional volunteers who provide an outstanding patient experience.
- Make a direct impact by hearing stories from patients and staff, seeing the difference volunteers make every day.
