This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, and professional fundraiser to lead the team at Treloar’s. As the Director of Fundraising, you will develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies, oversee a dedicated and passionate team and support them in generating significant income through a variety of channels, including trusts and foundations, events, corporate partnerships, individual giving, and major donations.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in senior-level charitable fundraising. You should bring advanced knowledge of a wide variety of fundraising channels, compliance expertise, and exceptional leadership skills. Experience in the education or disability sectors and relevant qualifications in fundraising are advantageous.

You will develop cultivation strategies for current and prospective charitable trusts and foundations and research relevant trusts and grant making bodies to prepare, write and submit applications. You will use your outstanding relationship building and networking skills to build relationships with trust and foundations that are new or lapsed and create opportunities to introduce the work of the Ri.
About you
Driven and motivated, you will be an engaging communicator and creative thinker with experience at writing persuasive funding proposals and the ability to communicate complex messages to a range of audiences.

Following their sons’ diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), Emily Reuben and Alex Johnson founded Duchenne UK in 2012. We are an ambitious, dynamic and impactful charity.
DMD is a devastating progressive condition diagnosed in early childhood which causes all the muscles in the body to gradually weaken. There are currently only very limited treatment options for DMD, so Emily and Alex set up Duchenne UK to change this.
Since 2012, we have raised more than £27 million to end the devastating impact of DMD. We fund ground-breaking scientific research to find effective treatments. We’ve developed the infrastructure of DMD clinical trial delivery in the UK. We engage industry and regulators to accelerate access to treatments. And we’re here to support every family affected and ensure that they receive the best possible care. We aim not only to improve quality of live but stop the disease in its tracks. We’re doing it faster too, because this generation of patients can’t wait.
Alex and Emily were awarded OBEs in The King’s Birthday Honours List in 2023 in recognition of their services to charity and to people living with DMD. They, and the dedicated and effective team they have built at Duchenne UK, are now at the forefront of this work in the UK.

The successful candidate will be an experienced fundraiser with strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of individuals. The Fundraising Manager will report to the Director of Fundraising and line manage the Fundraising Assistant. Job Description
This role plays a key part in advancing the fundraising of Duchenne UK to enable more investment into research, advancing treatments and supporting the DMD community. A core part of this will be building relationships with key supporters, including our incredible Family and Friends Funds, corporate supporters and community of fundraisers.
You will be central to the development and delivery of key events and campaigns throughout the year to achieve ambitious fundraising targets. You will have budget management responsibilities and provide insight into activities to drive improvements and further success in future years.
The role will contribute to overall fundraising growth; ensuring the guiding engagement and fundraising principles are delivered, and that all fundraising delivers an exceptional and remarkable donor experience to which Duchenne UK prides itself.
Fundraising and business development
- Community
- Key relationship manager for Duchenne UK Family and Friends Funds, engaging them through fundraising, supporting third party events and providing regular project and charity updates
- Develop and implement the Family Fund and Community Fundraising stewardship strategy
- Events, Challenge and Campaigns
- Manage and grow the challenge events portfolio
- Project manage community events and Duchenne UK campaigns
- Oversee the whole event process from developing a business case and objectives, to budget, project management and event follow up with relevant agencies and suppliers to deliver events within budget
- Play a vital role in the delivery of Duchenne UK’s signature event, the Duchenne Dash. Our 24hr London to Paris bike ride raising c.£800k annually.

- Manage Corporate partnerships, with support from the Fundraising Director
- Stewardship and income development
- Develop and deepen existing donor relationships, ensuring that the organisation maintains effective communications and good relations with our donors at every level and that they are updated on our work and impact
- Oversee management of regular giving, including working with the Communications team to promote this type of giving. Provide stewardship to Regular Givers, with support from the Fundraising Assistant.
- Lead the identification and development of new income sources with the support of the Fundraising team to increase donations, improve the profile of Duchenne UK and enhance our reputation within the donor community; including corporate partnerships, fundraising campaigns, third party activity, challenge events, regular giving and legacy
- Represent the organisation at meetings with donors and external events
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Support the development and implementation of the new Sales Force database (launching July 2024)
- Monthly monitoring and evaluation of fundraising activity
- Review fundraising and engagement for each Duchenne UK event and campaign with the support of the Fundraising Team.
- Ensure that accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.

Peer support roles are specifically for people who have lived experience of mental health problems. Through sharing wisdom from their own experiences, peer support staff will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. You will work with the Wellbeing Assessors and Team Leads to provide wellbeing support to patients within your particular Primary Care Network (PCN). This part of the Solent Mind Wellbeing Service provides one-to-one wellbeing support within the GP practices, working alongside the wider Primary Mental Health & Wellbeing Service.
Peer support is short-term support given to people who need extra support with the ‘doing’ side in their recovery journey. By using their own experiences to help each other and providing a safe space where people feel accepted and understood, Peer Support Workers encourage participants to identify their own strengths, triggers and life goals and support people to develop and use a range of skills and techniques to help their wellbeing.
This is a part-time role for 22.5 hours per week (three weekdays including Wednesday) working across the Coastal PCN (New Milton/Barton-on-Sea/Lymington).
About you
Educated to a minimum of level 2 standard or extensive relevant experience, you will have lived experience of mental health problems and using mental health services. Experience working with people with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity is desirable. You’ll also have excellent team-working skills, including listening, constructive feedback, respect and dignity, and skill-sharing.

We are seeking a Grants and Trusts Manager to join our Fundraising team and lead on gaining income from grant-making bodies.
The aim of this amazing charity is to help improve the lives of young people in Burnt Oak by giving them ‘somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to’. If you have a passion for putting young people first, we want to hear from you!
Position: Grants and Trusts Manager
Location: Burnt Oak, London. This is a hybrid position, though for an exceptional candidate we may consider fully-remote
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum FTE (pro rata-ed depending on number of days a week the successful candidate contracts to)

About the role:
A part of the Fundraising team, as Grants and Trusts Manager you will lead on gaining income from grant-making bodies. You will line manage the Grants and Trusts Officer, and will need to develop strong relationships with the Delivery team, so you can match their funding needs to the right funder and get the right information from them to ensure a high quality of reporting.
Other key responsibilities will include:
· Overseeing a pipeline of grants and trusts applications, re-applications and reporting

You will also need to bring with you the following skills and experience:
· Produce compelling asks and proposals in line with the charity's objectives and the funders requirements

· Experience of working within a charity fundraising environment

The Individual Giving Lead will play a pivotal role in generating funding for St. Michael's Hospice through individual giving - inspiring new donors and maximising opportunities with existing ones.
About St. Michael’s Hospice
St. Michael’s Hospice is a registered charity providing palliative and end of life care services for the people of North Hampshire.
As a charity, we depend on the kindness and support of our local community to continue offering our services free of charge. It may come as a surprise, but only 16% of our funding comes from the government. End-of-life care is an essential service, not a luxury, yet it is not funded like other care services. To keep the Hospice’s services running, we need raise an additional £15,000 every day.
The role
As our Individual Giving Lead, you will ensure that everyone that makes a donation to St. Michael’s Hospice, feels valued and that their donation has truly made a difference.
You will maximise opportunities for individual supporters across the individual giving portfolio. Identifying areas for growth and achieve new income across all income streams and enjoy building and deepening engagement with existing supporters.
This role can be office based or hybrid (a mix of home and office working). We would like someone to work a minimum of three days, however hours can be worked across the week, to suit the candidate.
The fundraising office is in Millennium House, Priestley Road Basingstoke and has free parking. It is within a short walking distance from St. Michael’s Hospice and Basingstoke Hospital.

Post Summary
Free Tibet is a small but effective campaign organisation based in south London. We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager who can transform our routine fundraising and lead expert strategies for income generation. This role is best suited to an experienced fundraiser who is confident in managing multiple streams of income and a small team. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse professional backgrounds, but you need to have worked in a fundraising management role before.
We are currently implementing a pay grading system at Free Tibet, offering increases with each year of service. The salary for this position starts at up to £45,000 based on the successful candidate’s experience.
Location
Our main office is in Brixton, south London. Oversee all income-generation activity across Free Tibet and Tibet Watch. Ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams. Current streams include postal appeals, online appeals, and the Free Tibet online shop.

Manage applications for grant funding on behalf of both Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, working with the Fundraising Officer to build a strong portfolio of five and six-figure grants and steward them for renewal.

Lead on the recruitment and retention of donors, especially Major Donors, and redevelop supporter journeys and stewardship programs.
