We are recruiting a high energy and hands on Garden Manager to work closely with the Senior Leadership team at Sufra to support the development and expansion of the community garden, and manage the team of garden staff and volunteers. This is an exciting time in the development of St. Raphael’s Edible Garden, as we are looking for an experienced Garden Manager to oversee the next steps in the development of the site, deliver a range of learning outcomes and fully implement, manage and further develop all aspects of the garden project.

Purpose:
To support the effective management of Ella’s office, community hub and homes, ensuring they remain safe, well-maintained, and fully operational. The Facilities Assistant will act as a key point of contact for contractors and suppliers, assist with general upkeep of the facilities, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and service users.
Main responsibilities:
Office and community hub support

Ensure Ella’s office and community hub is well-maintained, clean, and organised for staff and service user use.

Manage office supplies, ensuring sufficient stock levels of stationery, cleaning products, tea/coffee/milk, and other essentials.

What's the Job?
LSESU is looking for a proactive and driven Facility Coordinator to oversee the daily supervision and operation of our sports facilities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spaces, from health and safety compliance to customer service excellence. You’ll also manage internal and external bookings, including LSE Sports Clubs, and coordinate weekly sports events such as BUCS, Club and Society events and private hires from external companies.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Ops and Facility Manager to deliver the strategic vision for our facilities, focusing on enhancing the user experience. Repairs and Maintenance

The Development Manager will lead on delivery of The Mill Arts Centre’s fundraising strategy, with a particular focus on establishing new income streams through relationship-based fundraising including through the prospecting and stewardship of high-net worth individuals, companies and legacies.
You will develop and implement strategies to recruit and cultivate new supporters and oversee the stewardship of current relationships with care, with a focus on building new income streams from mid and major gifts.

Salary: £35,548.80 FTE (£17,774.40)
Holidays: 22 days per year FTE (11 days pro rata at 0.5FTE) plus public holidays

This role plays a key part in the team responsible for managing and delivering the repair and presentation of the Gallery’s building fabric. The role involves the line management of staff, consultants, and term maintenance contractors, and reports directly to the Head of Department.

The role is a job share and based at our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. It is based on 16 hours per week working Thursdays and Fridays, with the potential to extend beyond the initial period of maternity cover. Remote working is not appropriate for this role.
Our Centre houses an amazing collection of 25,000 children’s books as well as being a training and event centre for teachers, publishers and everyone else who works with children’s literature and cares about children’s literacy.
This is an extremely interesting and varied job. In one week you could be doing any number of things from ensuring our teachers can access the right equipment for their training, to planning a book launch with our librarian, welcoming our trustees to a meeting, scoping and overseeing maintenance works around our building, or looking after a famous children’s author.

Reporting to our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), our Centre Manager will:

Ensure efficient processes and quality facilities are in place to support the daily operations of our staff, our visitors and other organisations that share our building

Maintain the building to ensure that the Centre can function as a public space that looks great, and is secure and safe

Be a welcoming and generous host for visitors to our Charity and for event hires at the Centre

Support the CEO in maintaining HR systems and processes that adhere to best practice

Ensure our staff have the tools available to do their best work by overseeing the outsourced IT support company and maintaining our IT systems and assets.
The person we are looking for will have:

Usual hours are within 9.30am to 6pm but the post requires occasional out-of-office hours and flexible working in order to fulfil event commitments. The Centre Manager is the first point of contact for any building issues that occur out of hours, supported by our security and external keyholder companies.

Operations

- Ensuring the effective planning and the physical management of events, community dinners, concerts, large scale services, festivals and book launches
- Ensure detailed records are kept of all events.
- Ensure appropriate budget tracking tools are developed and utilised
- To manage the organisation’s IT (with external IT support company).
- To produce and maintain an organisational Operation Manual
Security
- Coordinate all aspects of WLS security, leading the security team, as provided through a third party.
- Ensure effective security systems are in place and regularly reviewed.
- Keep abreast of security issues in the local area
- Contributing as appropriate to the preparation of budgets
- Review reports on incidents and breaches and amend security protocols as appropriate.

Capital Project Manager – St George the Martyr, Bloomsbury
Salary: £50,000 p.a.

St George the Martyr, is an architecturally significant Grade II* listed church in Bloomsbury and an important part of London's Georgian and Victorian Heritage. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Capital Project Manager to lead the Development Stage of a major conservation and improvement project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of London’s most important historic churches and play a key role in its restoration and renewal.
About the Role
As a Client Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of our vision for the future of St George the Martyr, including saving the church, classed as Heritage at Risk, and creating a welcoming, active and inclusive church that engages people traditionally under-served by heritage. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all areas of the PCC’s activity in the Development Stage of the capital project, supporting a team of specialist consultants and the Design Team. Working closely with the Rector and Project Board, you will lead the internal and external project team, ensuring the Client’s interests are represented throughout.
About You
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing all aspects of the capital project on behalf of the client.
- Coordinating and procuring the multi-disciplinary project team and consultants.
- Managing the project budget, reporting to funders, and ensuring compliance with funding agreements.
- Acting as the key liaison with stakeholders, funders, and the Project Board.
- Overseeing design development, procurement, risk, and programme delivery.
You will need:
- Strong project management skills, ideally with a recognised qualification (e.g., APM, RICS, PRINCE2).
- Experience delivering multi-million-pound, heritage-focused capital projects.
- Understanding of heritage and faith sectors, particularly Church of England contexts.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- A strong commitment to inclusion and community involvement.
