The Conservation Leadership Programme is looking to recruit an Executive Manager to lead this dynamic partnership programme. The role of the Executive Manager is to direct strategic programme development, fundraising and collaborations, deliver the annual business plan, manage a small team across the three conservation organisations, manage financial resources and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. There will be opportunities to be creative in finding ways to engage and support a cadre of developing conservation leaders from around the world, and a requirement to facilitate training and workshops in pursuit of CLP’s goals.
The Executive Manager will have a relevant degree or equivalent level qualification and significant relevant work experience in the conservation sector or a related field. The successful candidate will have strong programme management experience. You will demonstrate a proven track record of fundraising and experience of strategic planning. You will be an inspirational leader, have strong communication skills and have experience of successfully managing geographically dispersed teams. You will have extensive experience in facilitating training and workshops (in-person and online) in a related field. You will be excited about the prospect of working collaboratively across three well-established conservation organisations.

As a Direct Marketing Executive you will:

You’ll also support digital campaigns and new initiatives, to encourage sustained support for our work. JOB PURPOSE
The Fundraising and Communications Executive will play a key role in implementing OTR’s fundraising and communications strategies. The role involves planning, creating, curating and managing high-quality digital content across our website, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns. Furthermore, you will support key areas of our fundraising strategy, including trust and grant applications, horizon scanning and ensuring excellent fundraising administration across all areas of activity.

Specific role duties
Supporting the fundraising strategy

You will manage complex diaries, handle correspondence, assist with financial processes, coordinate travel, and arrange events and meetings, both at HQ and internationally. This is a multifaceted role where you’ll be ensuring seamless operations and effective communication, helping the Directors meet their strategic objectives.
You will also assist with project administration and maintain accurate records in our systems (e.g., Salesforce), contributing to our overall operational effectiveness. You will be expected to maintain confidentiality, and work flexibly to meet the needs of the role, including occasional out-of-office support for events.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be highly organised, with proven experience managing multiple complex schedules, and coordinating a variety of tasks, with outstanding attention to detail. You should be comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative approach is key, as you will be working with various teams across the organization, and internationally. Strong administrative skills are essential, as well as experience supporting senior leadership. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Flexibility is key, as the role requires occasional travel and out-of-hours support for events and meetings. A proactive, methodical, and adaptable approach to tasks is essential.
