Could you be our new Delivery Team Senior Manager?

This is a temporary role to provide senior programme and people management for our delivery team at the British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR). The role is fixed term during our Head of Policy and Programme’s maternity leave.

BIHR is made up of a talented and experienced Delivery Team who are Human Rights Act (HRA) practice specialists. For this post we are looking for an excellent manager, committed to supporting a small, busy, expert team to deliver Human Rights Act (HRA) practice, communications and policy work.

Your operational management and strategic thinking are the primary skills and experience needed. You do not need to be a subject expert in the HRA; that is the job of our Delivery Team. You must however, like all of BIHR’s team, be a champion for our work and bring the skills, knowledge and experience needed to support our team in the planning and delivery of BIHR’s objectives

This is an exciting role for someone with established management experience in the charity/voluntary sector, with a keen interest in UK human rights.

About The Access Project

The Access Project is an education charity; we believe that every young person can make the most of education, unlocking their potential and creating a fairer society.

We support over 1,800 young people aged 14 to 18 across 40 schools. Our mission is to support students from under-resourced backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. We work with them to make good applications, get the grades and transition to university.

What you’ll be responsible for

Leadership and management

• Working closely with the Fundraising and Communications Director to develop a corporate partnerships plan that focuses on the acquisition of corporate partnerships and excellent account management of existing partnerships, resulting in renewals and uplift in value.
• Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of two (Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Co-ordinator) to deliver the corporate partnerships strategy and individual giving strategy.
• Developing objectives and targets for the corporate partnerships team and ensuring accurate and timely reporting against these.
• Ensuring effective team use of Salesforce for relationship management, data management and providing information for financial reporting and audit purposes.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and adherence to latest legislation, especially Fundraising legislation relating to corporate fundraising and best practice guidelines issued by the Fundraising Regulator, and GDPR. 

New business development

• Periodically refreshing our corporate offer with creative ideas, proposals and content to inspire decision makers. 
• Winning new business for The Access Project at the 5 and 6 figure level with support from the Director of Fundraising and Communications and the CEO/Executive team and Board.
• Managing the preparation and submission of major corporate partnership bids and coordinating internal teams to contribute effectively. 
• Leading research and development to identify new fundraising opportunities.
• Ensuring high quality and inspiring communications and materials are produced in accordance with brand guidelines.

Account management and stewardship 

• Delivering successful partnerships in your portfolio through excellent account management to maximise fundraising and volunteering potential and retain partners. 
• Ensuring corporate partnerships are celebrated through working with Communications colleagues. 
• Working collaboratively with the wider Fundraising Team, Volunteer Team, Programmes Team and other functions to deliver a fantastic partner experience and ensure an integrated and joined up approach.

About the role:

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.

Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.

As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. JOB PURPOSE

To inspire people with mental health conditions to progress, and to gain and sustain paid employment.  Some Employment Specialists will support clients with common (mild to moderate) mental health conditions (e.g. anxiety, depression), whilst others will support clients with more severe and enduring mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders).

Depending on what clients are right for you to work with, you will either work across the local NHS primary or secondary care network alongside NHS clinicians to secure client referrals.

To work with clients with more serious mental illness, you will need to be comfortable supporting people who have experienced / are experiencing serious mental health challenges, as well as possibly other serious difficulties in their lives.  Although you will receive full training and support, it’s important you are aware of the potential impact this may have on your own mental wellbeing.

All Employment Specialists will follow the 8 principles of IPS, adhere to the IPS Fidelity Scale and achieve monthly targets and KPIs with the required administration and compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Engage a caseload of clients with mental health problems and establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them into employment in line with contract targets and IPS fidelity.

2. Assess clients’ employment support needs; implementing and adjusting employment plans as necessary to support each client’s desired outcomes along IPS requirements.

3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to meet clients’ needs including career guidance, job searching, CV preparation, interview skills, individual coping techniques or work coaching.

4. Build a constant flow of referrals to ensure a dynamic caseload.

5. Conduct weekly employer engagement activity in line with IPS Fidelity.

6. Understand the complex issues a client may face, recognise holistic support needs and work in conjunction with clinical staff.

7. Facilitate access to expert financial advice on welfare benefits and ‘access to work’ resources.

8. Provide support and reasonable adjustments if required, to employed clients to support them to stay and progress in work.

9. As requested, attend clinical team meetings to provide advice and information on employment and IPS.

10. Collaborate with community partners to raise awareness of employment and mental health issues and promote access to the service.

11. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring the IT database is up to date and paperwork compliant.

12. Update and maintain NHS database (IAPTus).

13. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organization’s needs.

Main Purpose

This role is an exciting opportunity for you to play a leading role in the development and delivery of our new membership strategy. You will understand membership dynamics and ensure members experience a personalised approach that guarantees value to them.

You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that the membership offer and experience is optimised. This includes our regional and devolved nation leads, where you will support our activities, recruitment and engagement of members in these areas.

You will drive member engagement and lead the recruitment and onboarding of new members to the College as well as manage the promotion and election process for member opportunities within the college.

VoiceAbility is an independent charity and one of the UK’s largest providers of advocacy and involvement services. About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Camden Crisis Teams. We are looking for both full and part time staff, (working hours to be agreed, however, our service runs Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm), on a permanent contract. Reporting directly to the Connections Team Leader.

Your role will require you to provide one-to-one support for service users, setting personal goals with the service user for recovery, developing ways with the service user on how to keep well and identifying their own personal sources of support. This will involve work and travel within the Borough of Camden but will be based at in one of the Crisis Team offices either at Daleham Gardens or St Pancras Hospital. The post is a permanent contract with a starting salary between £24,500 - £31,500 pro rata depending on experience.

How will you make a difference?

You will work with the Peer Support Team and draw upon lived experience to assist service users to move forward positively.  Acting as a specialist resource to provide a unique perspective to service users. 

You will hold a small caseload to allow regular sessions to be held with the service user, maintaining confidential records, utilising VoiceAbility and NHS electronic records system.  Planning, implementation of and review of care packages, including parts of the individual care plan.

Role Overview
 

You’ll be leading the Challenge Events team in the delivery of the charities third party event portfolio including the likes of the TCS London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon and The Royal Parks Half Marathon. You’ll work across the wider Fundraising and Marcomms teams, and with external stakeholders and event organisers to lead a team to market and manage a diverse portfolio of third party sporting events across running, cycling, walking, trekking and other disciplines. You will work towards ambitious growth targets and provide an exceptional supporter experience to the 3,500+ supporters the team manage annually. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

About You

- You’ll be a strong people manager and competent working with multiple stakeholders. 
- You’ll also be an experienced fundraiser, used to working towards ambitious targets.
- You will have a passion for event delivery, project management, marketing and excellent supporter experience. 
- You’ll have experience of managing third party event portfolios, and have a good understanding of marketing, stewardship and stakeholder liaison.

Challenge Events raise significant income and the team is a crucial part of the Mass Participation department, which sits within public fundraising. The Mass Participation department is also responsible for Owned Events & Products and Virtual Events, raising £6m per year overall.
