The RCR is a leading membership organisation that supports and advocates for doctors that treat cancer (Clinical Oncologists) and interpret medical imaging in order to diagnose patients (Radiologists).Exams are a core tenet of producing high quality doctors and this role ensures the success of Clinical Radiology and Oncology exams by providing support to both the Exam’s Content and Projects teams, notably through project activity, the editing of exam content and the coordination of appeals and misconduct processes.
The Exams Quality and Project Administrator will be a proactive and adaptable professional, with project work dictated by project priorities you will enjoy a varied role. You will be a skilled communicator, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and examiners. To provide essential business support you will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload, as well as a confident approach to developing expertise in use of the RCRs exam platforms.

What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and prepare materials for project board meetings and related events, including examiner training, and working groups related to project work.
- Conduct testing and the checking of content and processes to improve our offer and minimise risk to exam standards and quality.
- Support the drafting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to process changes arising from project work.
- Collate exam content from examiners and check to ensure they adhere to the format and standards.
- Coordinate the standard setting of exams, including compiling exam set data, preparing and issuing documentation, collating scores from examiners and aiding discussion/re-scoring to calculate the final pass mark.
- Research, evaluate and document evidence on appeal and misconduct cases, managed through the functions bespoke candidate hub.
- Schedule, minute and administer appeal and misconduct panel meetings.
What you’ll need:
- Experience in an administrative/coordination/project support role in an examination, assessment or educational setting.
- Experience of – or aptitude to - working with bespoke software for content manipulation/case management.
- Experience of using and maintaining a database or equivalent to store and retrieve information so that information is kept up to date and readily available.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to meet agreed outcomes, handling issues with sensitivity, discretion and tact.

About the role
Reporting to the Chair, the Interim Director will focus on building on recent achievements and delivering our agreed strategy, with a primary emphasis on income generation alongside programme oversight and stakeholder relationship management. An ambitious mindset, excellent people management, and emotional intelligence are essential. Ideally, you’re an experienced Chief Executive/Director with a demonstrable track record of leading a small, ambitious organisation, particularly in securing diverse funding streams.You will have experience building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including funders, sector partners, and, most importantly, people with lived experience of social injustice.
Key Responsibilities (9-Month Focus):
- Income Generation: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive income generation strategies, working closely with the team to secure funding from diverse sources (trusts, foundations, individual giving, corporate partnerships, etc.). Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential funders and supporters, exploring new revenue streams, and optimising existing income sources.
- Programme Oversight: Ensure our Spokesperson Network, Festival of Learning and Community of practice are well managed, resourced and impactful.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control, working in close collaboration with the Finance and Operations Manager.
- Organisational Management & Development: Oversee operational, financial, and HR systems, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and sustainability. Deliver the existing operational plan for the period and develop the operational plan for the next financial year. Provides strong leadership to the team, supporting their professional development, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Governance: Provide regular and comprehensive updates to the Board of Trustees on organisational performance, emerging opportunities, and potential risks. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in governance.

What is the overall purpose of the role?
We are looking to appoint a Support Youth Worker to help develop and deliver an innovative and progressive youth programme for our Girls Project, in a safe industrious and supportive environment working primarily with young girls from diverse communities.
The Girls only group (targeting ages 11-19 years) will promote life skills, well-being and female empowerment. About the role
In partnership with Gateshead Council, Sustrans is opening an Active Travel Hub at Birtley library. This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans and support people in Gateshead to walk, cycle, and wheel, by providing practical, impactful support.
As the Project Support Officer, you will work with the Project Coordinator and Project Officer to provide support on a variety of projects that promote active travel in communities, workplaces and educational settings. You will also support the recruitment and development of volunteers in the area.
This varied role will see you working in partnership with local authorities, community groups and schools around the region along with volunteers and third-sector organisations to increase walking wheeling and cycling activities and commutes, and increase levels of public health and well-being.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected to a nominated hub/office base in Birtley, Gateshead.
About you
You should have some experience of working or volunteering in community or environmental projects, and experience of working with volunteers and in public-facing roles.
Knowledge of engagement techniques and behaviour change initiatives is desirable.
You should be able to work well as part of a team and have good communication skills, as well as able to work independently and manage your own workload.

Are you passionate about capturing and sharing learning from projects and programmes and able to analyse and summarise key points from a wealth of information? ISEAL´s Innovations Fund is a central component of our work to catalyse innovations that improve the effectiveness and deepen the impacts of market-based approaches to sustainability. This is an exciting role to work on the development of a learning agenda and value proposition for the Fund, as well as producing relevant communications and learning reports.
First launched in 2016, the Fund supports innovative projects by ISEAL Community Members to help sustainability systems deliver more value to their stakeholders and effectively drive sustainability improvement on the ground, over time, and at scale. The Fund provides grants that enable recipients to develop and test new technologies and approaches, while drawing out cross-project learning to share with the wider sustainability community.
The Associate Manager will work closely with ISEAL colleagues and grantees to improve the ways learning is extracted from the projects, and to produce high-quality learning products. The person in this role will take ownership of the engagement processes necessary to collate and share lessons learnt in a strongly collaborative setting with ISEAL Community Member organisations or other stakeholders. Previous experience with MEL activities, and specifically on project and programme learning is required to be successful in this role.
The key responsibilities we entrust you with
Implementation of Innovations Fund learning agenda
- Develop and maintain an overall learning agenda for the Fund, and lead Fund and programme team on all aspects of its delivery
- Propose and implement methodologies for capturing learning from grants and for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of the Fund during and after project implementation
- Working with thematic leads, extract and synthesize key lessons and trends across multiple grants and produce reports and other learning outputs to share practical lessons and insights
- Lead the design and delivery of knowledge sharing and learning workshops, facilitating peer to peer interactions between organisations participating in grant-funded projects
- Act as programme officer for Innovations Fund projects aligned with job holder expertise, to provide support and technical insight to grantees and gain insights into project learning
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and other forms of research to support implementation of the learning agenda and to inform the focus of the Fund’s upcoming thematic funding rounds
- Review and provide input on call announcements and on Fund application, proposal, and reporting templates to ensure that these support the Funds learning agenda and approach
Communications
- Working with the rest of the Innovations Fund team, identify opportunities for increasing the Fund’s visibility and map internal and external stakeholders who can support widening the Fund´s impact
- Support implementation of the Fund’s communications strategy, identifying target audiences for Fund and producing and adapting learning products for each
